I am so glad I kept my 89 model with the mechanical engine.
I support the battle, but these gas guys have already been defeated. They already welling concede that track only race car should be exempt from the EPA.
The vast majority of the business and money to be made on performance part is not track only race cars.
We're in this situation because folks that don't drive or care for diesels, didnt raise a finger to fight back against the EPA.
The mindset was from the gas guys was, it doesn't affect me. Well guess what, now it's them in the crosshairs. The EPA is picking us off one at a time. They were smart to pick one fight at a time.
Because we as people only worry about what effect us. We think better him than I. Or it sucks to be him.
Guess what you're now the other guy.
We should have all banded togather when they went after the diesel folks.
This behavior is not exclusive to the car folks. It's demonstrated every day with the 2A folks. It's not my gun they want to ban!
They will get around to yours gun, when thier done with your buddies AR15.
We all need to wake the F up and get these lunatic liberals out of office.
The epa should file a lawsuit against snap on and matco in that case goo luck filing suit against my 10mm its been mia since like forever
Tk you so much for not having a hundred breaks in your pod cast!
Thank you for watching!
And the stupid thing is my e85 car w/o cats has less emissions than it did with cats and 91.. smh
Very informative session, thanks guys!
Lb7’s are about to skyrocket in price
Gotta follow the money here. I mean seriously, Average price on a new truck is about 60-70k. Whats the average warranty, 5yr/100,000. So your option at that point is keep trading your truck in for a new one to always maintain a warranty so it can replace your 10-15k emissions equipment, or keep your truck you worked your ass off for and paid off, and foot those bills yourself. Theyve made it virtually impossible, while still telling you that you have a choice.
Perfect way to push ev's
This video had critical information, Thank you.
Thanks for checking it out!
Thanks for the information.
Thanks for watching the episode!
I would like to see a tuner show the EPA that you can tune a diesel with no emissions and have it clean with power
What about a 6.7 powerstroke in a 79 f250? Can you delete it then?
Centralia, Pennsylvania = Emissions
I’m wondering from the “Ability to Pay” for fines levied against companies, does that also apply to individual owners? I can afford to pay for a delete kit, but I can’t afford a new truck! A few thousand dollars once is better than $1,800/ mo for payment and insurance.
Next thing you know they will be after Dr. Sue's book,,LOL. OH wait they have!
What about if its a farm use off road?
Sign the petition!!
ACTS AND EXECUTIVE ORDERS ARE NOT LAWS BUT WHEN YOU HAVE THE PEOPLE SO “DUMBED DOWN” THAT THEY THINK THEY ARE THEN THEY WORK JUST AS WELL
You can educate the people if you want to wake this country up
im canadian, but my career is in the automotive aftermarket, and all this scares the crap out of me. our government shows little interest in the automotive aftermarket and anything of this nature, instead they are going after industry. the big thing that has me on edge is nearly all the parts needed for the vehicles i build and repair comes from the usa. we have taken a serious hit through covid not because of lack of work, but because the parts supply is drying up and its taking months to get even basic stuff. if your epa keeps on the way they are it will have international impacts and cripple an industry worldwide.
1972-3, was the crack down on tweaking fuel settings or any component that did do
In 76 to rebuild a carb you legally needed a certificate from the state vehicle inspectors station + a gas analylizer with test gas
Well here you go , i ordered a 429 twin-turbo LS crate motor from Kentucky on eBay and i was re-embersted / the seller lost out as the product was labeled restricted and confiscated . So you also have to look at the delivery companies as they are reacting to the epa directions . Btw the LS was for Australia and was a 1:18 scale model motor NOT even real . Go figure ! It seems the global shipping programme could not discern between a real motor and a model motor even tho it weighed 6 grams .
Damn epa
I just saw a video where a big shop took a Corvette and did a full motor build, tuned it and replaced the exhaust with a "racing exhaust " and then did a test drive with the owner of the car where they did 144 mph. How is that getting by?
So I'm researching building a ex-military humvee and doing an engine swap with a Duramax or Cummins engine. Because that vehicle never had emissions on it, how would the law pertain a delete on that vehicle?
Oh, and I'm in Texas in an area without emissions testing
There is an extremely valid reason as to why companies should be able to sell 10 billion tunes and egr deletes. Parts on race cars break and not only do people not keep a race vehicle on a single engine management for its entirety but you also have to retune the race vehicle depending on changes in altitude and whatnot. You are going to tell me people have to have one tune no matter where they are racing?
Hi, what do you know about the DEF fluid in regard to Ca and it being canceled for 2022-23? Would love an answer for that one.
What's stopping them from saying we have to register hour modified daily drivers as race cars and charge an outrageous fee or requiring a special license or endorsement?
I don't feel like the RPM act protects the hobbyist the average weekend or car show goer.
It sounds like to me the RPM act is pulling the same blanket tactic that the EPA is doing.
The EPA is trying to say they're really going after diesel truck emissions defeaters but in all actuality going after any type of modification to A streetcar.
It seems like the RPM act says they want to help protect the rights of the hobbyists but seems more like all their interested in doing is protecting the industries that produce these emission defeaters.
This just sounds like in the end all this stuff will remain legal for a race car but made illegal for any car intended to drive on the streets which does not help the average enthusiast.
There needs to be more added to this bill to protect a soul individuals right to modify his/here vehicle
it does fall on the individual states themselves though to choose whether or not to uphold this law so there might be hope.
although I highly doubt the individual states themselves would do anything without some sort of public out cry
Mean while in Pakistan Abu is completely rebuilding a 1950 Bedford for the 12 time ...bare foot and chain smoking .
Excellent, very few commercials and accurate information, Thank you!
I don’t like government telling us what we can’t do, that said; when you are stuck behind some bozo with an exhaust pipe the size of a garbage can that is blowing black soot all over you and you are forced to breath that stuff, that really influences public opinion.. So a few bad apples can change how a person votes when they remember that black soot. What do you expect?
When CARB can reverse their cranial rectal inversion, trucking will have anything moving across California State Line.
Full bolt on camaro no cats large cam passed emissions test on e85.
Let's all rewind about 20-30 yrs for a min. In an era when the average Joe could do most of the basic and even the intermediate maintenance to their own vehicles. Fast forward to today's time when you can barely change your oil or spark plugs without lifting the cab or dropping the motor. Do you really think that this isnt on purpose by design? To keep you coming back to have all the maintenance done by dealers or the selected few shops that the manufacturer ordains as worthy of working on their stuff. Purposely making it more and more difficult to maintain these current vehicles on your own, So just trade it in and get a newer one thats back under warranty. Now apply that same thought process to all the emissions equipment, Do you really think its about the environment? Or do you think Its about putting money in the pockets of the manufacturers that basically have their own Federal enforcers called the EPA to basically scare people into staying in that lane of new vehicles/new debt to the manufacturer?
wear do i sign up.
PFI Speed just got hit with a fine under the rpm act. Anywhere from 18k to 180k. Could use help and more notice on this. It should be illegal under the right to repair act to fine for the rpm act.
Your misunderstanding, the RPM Act is the act we are trying to get passed so we have the right to be able to take a road certified vehicle and modify it to be used in a racing or off road application. The RPM Act is something thats we've been trying to get passed for a long time now. PFI was fined under the Clean air act.
#DefundtheEPA
These people aren't VOTED in and therefore have unlimited power.
JH rips EPA. ua-cam.com/video/BIbsY5-z0BE/v-deo.html
It disappoints me that the EPA looks to strangle an industry that has such a small subsection of emissions. Just look at how much carbon dioxide and NOx emissions are put out by shipping, locomotives, lawn equipment, and aviation compared to modified ICE cars. It’s so tone deaf and ultimately pointless. It’s an uncalled for power move by the EPA.
The law is the law period, no one gets the chance to create and or interpret the law on their own! Deletea are illegal period enough said.
You don’t look like what I had in my head
I am so glad I kept my 89 model with the mechanical engine.
