I made this mainly for new players to Battlefield 4 or Planetside 2 or people who haven't tried either. I also think that Battlefield 1 is extremely similar to BF4 and is easily comparable to Planetside2 as well.

#1 FREAKING WAIT to be revived before going straight back to the spawn screen! You don't spawn ANY faster by doing so, it only stops your teammates from reviving you! As a guy who plays Medic almost all the time, you have no idea how frustrating it is to run across a flurry of bullets and past an enemy tank to revive a squad mate who has at least 6 seconds left to respond, you finally get there, almost dead, and his icon disappears because he couldn't WAIT the extra 2 seconds!
DaDangerDog I freaking hate when people do that. I was capturing a flag and saw two of my teammates die and I waited to see if the shooter showed up and I killed him but as soon as I went to revive them when it was clear, they just spawned and another enemy came along and killed me. So not only do I give up my position to revive, but they got me killed and costed us a flag. Then you see people like that complain about medics not doing their job.

I highly agree man. That shit happens to me all the time since I normally play medic. But what I hate even more is how shitty most medics seem to be. Some of these guys will be like 4 meters from me in a calm and unhostile situation and they just blow me off. Either they aren't paying attention to their surrounding/minimap, don't have the syringe equipped or they are just lazy. Happens to me all the time. I barely get revived. I message medics that I see around me that don't end up reviving me and kinda bitch them out. I know it's kind of a low thing to do but after awhile it just blows my mind. The number one benefit of a medic is being able to revive. If you don't have that equipped then you shouldn't use the class. Anyways I'm done with my rant now. Sorry! Lol

Luke Maragni yes you can only revive people if you are the medic class and you have the syringe selected as one of the pieces of your equipment
Taking the grenade launcher for the medic is useless because you have to sacrifice your syringe or health bag.

The Vegan Bear some bigger maps the revive needle is hardly used. But maps like argone forest revive needle is important
Cam Newton true but I always play in a squad with my mates making both crucial and if I ever drop one I always find that I need it in the worse situation. The thing I never find myself needing is a pistol when I'm running with 2 assault guys and a support I never need to switch to a pistol because I'm never in 1vs1 fights if I need to reload my buddy always finishes the kill.
I would gladly swap my pistol for a grenade launcher. Heck give me the option to not have hand grenades and give me the launcher

Cam Newton I'm kinda lucky since 2 of my best mates play and we have Lan parties or when we're at home we just use Skype while playing so it's open mic.

Whenever I'm getting shot at, and don't see the dude, I immediately go prone so they think I was killed by someone else. It works more that it doesn't, believe it or not.

i only stop shooting to reload or wait for some sort of assist lol if not then ill shoot til i die
literally what i said but in a more not dumb way...
The bayonet charge can one shot the infinity heavy weapons kits i.e. Flamethrower trooper.

Assassin4nolan yea semi autos still have a place. Look at m16s I preferred firing in semi auto than burst fire.
So....there was NO semi autos?...what type of gun started the war?
scott left semi autos werent reliable in muddy trenches even in ww2 most rifles were bolt action
@mikey palesse You might want to research the ACTUAL weapons like Pistols...MOST were SEMI AUTO, rifles were bolt, but BAR and Chauchauts etc were full auto.

As a medic everyone just forces spawn and its fucking annoying. I'll literally be right next to them and they'll fucking do it, wonder why we lose

@Keith Marshall Yeah, Im actually coming back to this game after a long time. I used to be a rank 14 or so medic, nothing too special, but I just forgot everything and Im relearning controls and tactics. Currently Im only playing the other 3 classes, and so far ive been eating a whole lot of lead. Been using either the basic trench gun, a shotgun or the automatico as my 3 guns for assault alongside either impact or gas grenade, antitank and dynamite P08 pistol, and have not been faring too well with either. On support im just using the basic lewis one (plus basic support items), and on scout I dont remember the name, but its one of thise shoot and zoom out types, with impact, antitank bullets and that spot flair gun.
Only class Im doing okay with is scout, the rest Im always dying more than killing xD
Worst part about online war games. Every acts like a solo do it themselves hero. These games would be out of this world brilliant if people worked together as they should..
am i the only one has this problem that sometimes im good but sometimes im noob i really dnt understand myself sometimes -_-

Nope. I went 40 and 10 once in an assault tank and recently i went like 60/30. And then sometimes i do complete shit. But thats not my main problem
i do good when i play with platoon in party chat but when i go solo some games i do great others i barely get a 1.00 k/d (i know its not about k/d but its not fun dying lol)

That’s because when you do really good they put in better players to match your skill in future lobbies and vice versa its skill based matchmaking. I’m a complete beast sometimes then sometimes I suck ass because of that

It's best to use the ammo pouch over the crate because the pouch refills the rockets, flares, and bullets immediately. I forgot about grenades but I think it's the same. The crate takes forever. Use the medical crate though to heal faster. Keep the bayonet on....its an extra weapon.
If your in a tank fight facing the enemy go in reverse and the tank will deal less damage, also use the emergency repair. I usually use repair after the first hit from the tank. smoke helps tremendously as well.
On E there is a Tank Hunter super weapon. It is really good against light tanks and planes + it one shots infantry.

If you're talking about the tankgewehr, I've seen people use that as a ridiculously-powerful sniper rifle. Only having iron sights doesn't seem to limit it much.

Yeah. Its the definition of fuck off. Its zoom is really nice, the stopping power is unbelievable and the bullet drop is really low.

I play medic, i cant begin to tell you how annoying it is when i run past an enemy tank just to see the person i was trying to save skipped.

What I hate and what makes the game harder is when people don't spot. It especially makes it hard when you are using a mortar.

Your very right about getting that lucky tank kill. That happened to me yesterday but in Battlefield 4 I had no clue it was even critically damaged

Mosquito/reaver/sythe certing
Best weapons for each faction each character
Best sunderer deploying tactics
Air tactics

my tip - use the anti tank cannons as they are amazing and also the medic dmr's have great range. you can shoot from B to the ridge nd still be doing 26 damage

some other tips i have: be aggressive! but be smart. always be very observant always be moving especially if assault (sitting in the corner will reveal your location after the first kill), but always move from cover to cover, know when to push! Also dont be hungry for kills, dont chase after the enemy with 1 health if it means charging to your certain death! prioritize STAYING ALIVE over kills

the noise one was actually more relevant than i thought, once i avoided getting cut down on an anti-air gun by cavalry and ended up getting the kill myself, and just because i heard the hooves on cobblestone.
