nothing i love more than watching people work on something with all the correct and needed tools. Having the right tools makes the job look easy. Great job !
Best restoration i have ever seen, you did everything perfect in my opinion. I really wish i could afford in stuff like this, but that will just be another dream..
"I HATE YOU!" LOL. Sorry, just looked at your list of tools after i spent 9 hours today stripping down my CR250. i had to make the tools for it cos there aint any out here in the 3rd world. My clutch holder took around 4 hours to make! Dont even get me started on a sand blaster and cerakote.... im not jealous... MUCH! ill have to make 1 of those engine stands tomorrow
Only thing I noticed was that you use sandpaper on the case surfaces. If you do that, you want to glue the sandpaper down flat to a piece of glass and run the case in a figure 8. That way you have an even sand. Although, great build!
Dude. You been keeping me busy on nightshift watching these rebuild vids haha so good.. noticed you cerakote'd the covers for the power valve and put them in the oven... they weren't plastic were they?
@@adampaganelli4891 yeah sweet. Thought as much... but wanted to check because my kx125 had plastic covers on the side and I was going to ask what was the secret 😂😂
I am referring to the primary pinion that meshes with the female bell pinion, in my yz 250 I see that one pinion does not completely mesh with the other ⚙️⚙️. is that normal?
Just an FYI - you put in preview/draft links above. They don't work as direct links. Here's a 'clean' link (as an example) to the case splitter --> thed.zone/product/tusk-crankcase-splitting-tool/ (Great video, btw)

That was one SLOOOOW time-lapse...
This would be wicked on a shifter kart! Very well done! This is how a proper rebuild should look, not just a gasket set and some black spray paint
That is a beautiful rebuild!!

I am actually going to go hit like, subscribe and notifications right now!!!

Although, great build!
You need to explain how you got those bearings in without using a press! I've never been brave enough to try.
Heat the cases, freeze the bearings
Great Work ! Man id love to know my way around a motor like you , Looking forward to seeing the bike complete.
Dude. You been keeping me busy on nightshift watching these rebuild vids haha so good.. noticed you cerakote'd the covers for the power valve and put them in the oven... they weren't plastic were they?

I am referring to the primary pinion that meshes with the female bell pinion, in my yz 250 I see that one pinion does not completely mesh with the other ⚙️⚙️. is that normal?

heat the casing, freeze the bearing
