Hi Adam, I'm Sundra from Malaysia. I'm 60years old and i still love to ride bikes especially dirt bikes. In fact ride to work everyday I enjoyed watching your work on the transformation of the bike, makes me want to continue riding. Tq very much . Hope to see more videos in the future . God bless you.
I love how you show just a clip of the harder steps (IMO) in the process, making them look like such a breeze. I hate getting my airbox and sub frame back on to my throttle body. Well done. I love this stuff. I wish more people would make these videos. I'd be happy to watch a more in-depth series of your build.
Your skill is amazing, you really know your craft. Impressive to watch. Thank you for taking the time to film and edit it, it's a lot of work! Keep em' coming.
That "clapped out" YZ would be advertised in AZ as a clean well taken care of '06 YZ250 here in arizona right now LOL there's nothing for sale out there. There's literally 3 125's (all makes), 5 250's and a handful of 250f's and 450f's for sale, all wayy overpriced.
I admit, which is rare when I watch restoration videos, that I am impressed and happy for you ! This is the first video of you I watch and I’m not disappointed.
Great job man! I’m doing an 87 yz 125 .I’ll show ya when I complete, I felt like taking an older looking bike and throwing my own flair into it while still keeping it some what older with a bit of a new look. U do good work.
I enjoyed watching you work. Great job! I would love to have such a bike. Right now I'm just getting back into dirt riding. I'm 63 and learning all over again. Building my skills with a new CRF250F. Lovin it!
Stumbled across your video while I just finished a disassembly on my friend YZ125 competition. I love your process and finish work. I love seeing a torque wrench too, I'm the same way, by the book. 😁I look forward to more videos.
when you put that much time and dedication into a machine it’s going to be really really hard to ever sell or let it go any time soon 🤯🔥🔥work put into it is absolutely insane
I love bikes but never had the means or opportunity to do something like this absolutely amazing to watch the transformation and the fulfilment it must bring very nice
One thing I can say you do hell of a work when a man I want it done right come to you Keep the build coming good energy 💯💪🏿💪🏿💯 A man’s work can show better than you can tell them .... Respect
Adam, this is an incredible build and by far one of my favourites! I'm about to start disassembling my '03 yz250 for a full rebuild and have so much inspiration from yours! Fantastic job! 👌🏻
Thats what I thought but I took my project bike (and it was my first time working on something with an engine) down to every last part. Putting it back together, with help of the manual, was pretty easy and almost relaxing. Except tires. Fuck tires. You should totally try and rebuild a bike though, 100% worth it.
@@2strokeatvbro630 I did 2. First bike was a 1980 KE175 (old school and 2 stroke so super simple but a dirt bike nevertheless, however I will say since it's an old bike that no one else works on the difficulty of working on it would be comparable to a modern bike) The second was a TTR125 which I just did minor repairs and cosmetic replacements. No matter what bike you do you will probably get it down and I think it's super worth it
That's wicked Adam you should be really proud of your self. I wish I could have a go at it. Very proud moment mate. Bike looks sick Bro proper proper bad ass crosser mate. Looks really cool.

It's mint! Great work Adam
Next build Some sort of 500 two-stroke?
That's no clapped out bike, that's a good bike to start with
It had a bad transmission. I should have specified in the intro
Forget about the rebuild. Where are you finding these legit aluminum YZ's that aren't stolen for $950? I need your plug.
its a 2006 i think all 2006's were aluminum
kx250monster1023244 the aluminum frames are the best. They are lighter and almost as strong as the steel they used.
Just search for blown owns
i just picked up an 07 yz 125 frame for 700. they are tough to find cause it is a great frame
@@rapscallion3421for only the frame? i picked up a 2010 yz 250 for 900€!!

950 for that thing is a steal
Looked like it was not too bad
There is something about a clean YZ build with the vibrant blue that really catches my attention.

The bike looked better than mine before you even started😩
I work at Rocky Mountain and it’s always nice to see some of our products get put on these builds
Thank you for not blacking out the entire bike. Looks sharp. Spotted those Washington orv tags. Cheers from the dryside.
Thats insane, best looking yz250 I've ever seen by far

Thank you for giving idea even I can afford to buy a dirt because of puberty...You have a lot of blessing to come..
Nice job. The only thing I’d change is the vent hose for gas tank. They plug up and stop the gas flow.
Holy cow. What a talented individual. Jo stone unturned . You created something to be proud of . Gear video and incredible job!
I have a 2004 ttr125l and my dad got it for 950, but we also were good friends with him so he rebuilt the engine and a bunch of other stuff.
I see this from France and this is always a big pleasure to see your videos!
i felt in love with this bike, omg what gorgeous piece of art!

Top notch work right here 🤘
Haha that face at 14:05. Anyone who has ever rebuilt their own engine has ridden that same roller coaster of emotions.
I smiled shortly after hahaha
That was Amazing I just can't imagine how you keep track of all the little screws
This yz is insane looking amazing I’d say but the cr125 will always be my number one favorite because I watch that resto time lapse rebuild every day
Amazing. Now we just need to see some videos of you riding it!
Best bike build I’ve seen on UA-cam!
Wow best 2 stroke I’ve ever seen and heard 🥵
this video gave me the inspiration to fix up my old bike, thanks
Definitely my favorite DIY build. You inspire me to continue with my hobby Adam thanks for the content!

Seriously $950 😳 that thing was pretty clean how you bought it. Hell of a deal

That bike looks amazing after the transformation!
Sick build better than it was off the showroom floor!
I like how you say "clapped put" haha still looked like a nice bike before hand. Other than mechanic issues you mentioned.
I was just about to say the same thing bike is in great condition for its age and has kyb forks unless its just a sticker lol
Looked in better nik than most things on ebay now!!
curtis colehouse suspension was trashed, barings needed to be replaced, needed new top end etc. It was clapped
so sick! only not liking the carbon exaust guard and the orange sprocket, keep up the amazing work!
Very excited for your next video man, IK you've been doing something awesome undercover
Dude you did an excellent job on this yz i can't wait to see what's next.
You and Cameron have the best teardown/build/restore videos.
Looks Shmick for the rebuild sounds gr8
I think the powder coated hubs are such an amazing upgrade, they look so good!! cool winter project
Staggering. Better than new !!
Must have cost some, the rebuild parts/materials !!
Excellent job !!!
see I could probably take it apart but it would take me YEARS to figure out how to put it back together...
