@@madmarc hell yeah bro keep killin it!! Ever think you would do some sort of atv restoration?? Maybe a 250r or banshee or some kinda vintage 2 stroke???
Nah I'm not into quads but I do like watching the Bonzi Garage. His videos are so good and he has the best soundtracks haha ua-cam.com/video/qPYTsWh7nqs/v-deo.html
Your skills in rebuild, videography, and editing are second to none. This video is the best rebuild video I have ever seen. Doing videos like this is hard, and your hard work and skill pours out of my screen. Also, music was on point!
In 2001 I bought this model, a machine without equal, no problems with it, it was light in weight, manageable, powerful, it had everything, perhaps nostalgia invades me... You have given me 1 hour of pure visual art, accompanied by good music. I told you on other occasions, you are an artist from head to toe, what you have demonstrated with this restoration is at a stratospheric level, only have one option, stand up and applaud him until your hands hurt, you have done with this motorcycle... it's magic, friend, and not everyone knows how to do it. Thank you a thousand times, a job well done must be well recognized, I don't know what your next objective will be, with your permission, I will watch this video again and continue applauding while sitting... Never abandon these works and never stop showing them... a hug, don't take too long buddy...
@@madmarche’s right, excellent rebuild and excellent video documenting of the rebuild! I enjoyed the entire video, I’ve rebuilt a few dirt bikes.. but not to this level.
The patience and attention to detail is almost inhuman, although not into bikes I found the vid a inspiration to anybody that wanted to attain a resto build quality of this magnitude, the time involved and the obvious knowledge shows dedication when it’s so easy to go nobody’s gonna see that so that’ll be ok,how many people went oh no it’s raining get it inside quick at the end of the vid, total respect to you sir,👍
I just have to say I was a full time motorcycle mechanic for years and this is the first time on YT I have seen someone pump the brake pistons out before disconnecting the lines, well done, it always wound me up watching people trying to use air lines or mole grips to get them out!
@@ASDasdSDsadASD-nc7lf You really aren't better off using vice grips, because if you are just servicing the caliper or it isn't stuck to bad you will be re-using the pistons and no matter how careful you are with vice grips you will mark the pistons leaving them scrap, where as if you pump it out with the hydraulic system that is there working, all you have to do is squeeze the brake lever and put no mechanical stress on the piston how would it be better using vice grips?
That's a dream....am 47 years old and now i see my bike when I was child.... congratulations for yours skills..... This bike must be in the museum..... Thanks from Greece...
Wow, just WOW! For this one i HAD to leave a comment, you took the bike from looking scrapyard-ready, to MINTY fresh. You made a 28-Year-Old bike look ABSOLUTELY stunning. Love your work and dedication to this project and wish you the best.
What a labour of love. How much fun is it rebuilding things like this, putting a bit or anti-seize here and a bit of grease or Loctite there. Making sure it's perfect, better than factory. Cleaning everything 100% and knowing when you're on the bike that everything is literally perfect because you made sure of it.... A lot of people with never know the pure joy and calm that comes from projects like this. The world disappears and you just lock in on the build. It's a therapy, people never understand though.
Oh and the morning of the final assembly, the completion.....🙌 The night before, not much sleep. Running through everything 1 last time, making sure nothing is missed. The anticipation is crazy, all the hours of hard work are about to pay off.. Man I feel this build in my core lol
Amazing restoration. Too many people "restore" dirt bikes and sell them, but this is not one of those. I bought my 2001 yz 125 for way more than i should have since the prices here in Canada are so inflated. The guy had restored it, powder coated the frame, fresh top end. The kickstart broke right away, the fins on the radiators were all mashed, and the engine blew up two weeks later. Learning experience.
Well Marc, you truly are Mad cause only a lunatic would rebuild from the ground up by repairing everything, but that's what makes you special and what draws me to your content
I have seen lots of restoration build on youtube this is the only build made with detailing best restoration on youtube so far i have seen i wish this was voice discussion
This is a work of art. If it was mine I would sit it in my living room and never ever ride it. Seeing the amount of work put into this, even though it's only a very very compressed amount, is just insane.
There is way too much to say than can be summarised in a youtube comment but I have to say a few things. What you do with these bikes is nothing short of amazing. Literally looks like it's never been ridden and better than off the showroom floor. This in itself is a monumental achievement. However, the videography, the editing, the music, it all plays a part in telling this story of bringing these bikes back to life. I know you could just do this behind closed doors and you choose to record it and present it for us to enjoy, free of charge. I really appcreciate the effort that you put it to the restorations and the presentations. Sincerely.
That's some serious talent , absolutely beautiful job , to do a complete rebuild, and have it come out looking better then it was when it was brand new , that's some serious talent .

I wish I had even a little bit of the talent you have man this is truly a work of art. I’m doing a 2001 RM250 right now and would love to pick your brain because it’s inspiring. I don’t often comment on videos, but this video was amazing. From the cinematography to the music and overall production quality. I realize this probably took hundreds of hours to complete, but you should seriously consider doing about 1,000 more of these videos.
One of the only actual restorations I've seen on UA-cam - most 'restorations' to be seen on here are ruinous, this is a respectful, genuine as humanly possible, costly, laboursome blueprint job: the only way to do it if you're going to. Excellent work that man.
You had good form in your skills and showed good mechanical sympathy for the parts. Its nice to finally see a skilled mech in front of the camera, many before you i can hand on heart say showed inly a degree of respect that you showed this and the care to restore it. Well done
