Yes, good comment and of course I have concerns - it's wrong, and they shouldn't do it. There are several reasons why I don't deal with them: 1) By far the most danger comes from the car drivers doing this, not only because of their size and mass, but also because of the speed and carelessness which many drivers go through here. In contrast most motorcyclists and cyclists are much more careful when doing this. Two wheelers have skin in the game, drivers do not. 2) I have limited spare time, and I'm not going to spend all of it doing this. That means I'll focus on the most dangerous, being the drivers. This is fairness. It's also my choice. 3) I don't feel able to stop cyclists or motorcyclists doing this as if they fell off because of me stopping them I'd be on very dodgy moral and legal grounds. 4) Whilst I can report the motorcyclists who do this, I tend only to report the few who do it dangerously. I obviously can't report the cyclists, so all I do is occasionally scold them from the corner. 5) The Royal Parks police do much the same - rarely stopping cyclists and motorcyclists, and often stopping the drivers when they stake out this junction. If she doesn't have the most basic driving ability to reverse, then how did she think she had the skills to carry out an illegal and risky manoeuvre on the wrong side of the road?
But yet you completely ignored the fellow in the vauxhall on the phone recording with one hand half on the kirb aslong as it suits your narrative right??
If these drivers would go to bed half an hour earlier the night before, they could get up early enough to deal with the traffic and wouldn’t be tempted to drive the wrong way in the lane.
The stupid thing I'd, if she had stayed in the queue she would be well on her way. At least no other driver can do the same while she's blocking the road. But methinks you've met your match there
Absolute legend, standing in the road, standing his ground, being beeped at non-stop by the driver and beeps and interactions from others in all directions.
Mikey, may i suggest you purchasing a polarization filter for your camera, this will reduce the glare on the windscreen and side windows and give you a better shot of the drivers faces and actions etc! Keep up the good work

I admire you standing your ground. I think I would have reluctantly let her go after a bit. All those cars mounting the pavement were ultimately creating a worse situation and you already had the evidence for prosecution. I’m still gobsmacked that she had the audacity to just sit there indignantly. What a shame she got away with it.
It's very interesting that you made no comment about the driver at 6:47 who was using his phone. Why was this? If what you do is about the principles of good driving, why make exceptions for this guy? Is it because he happened to agree with what you were doing?
Why doesn’t the Met just post a permanent camera at this intersection to catch these clowns? It’s nuts that it takes a member of the public to take action.
To the rest of the country London is like a foreign land. The complete lack of care for each other and disregard for other people makes it a shit place to live. Hundreds of thousands of foreign people live there but have no regard for law, traditions or rules. Surely it must be safe for them to go home now?
That's nonsense. I mean, sure, there's a big city mentality, but most people here are decent. Everyone in the UK is either an immigrant or of immigrant stock. Don't get all snooty about British exceptionalism - there is no such thing.
2:02 "we're all trying to get to work mate..." What a silly maxim!? She enjoys the privilege of driving without anyone blocking her lane but wants my brother to allow someone to block and drive into oncoming traffic?
It's so frustrating, I get their point, just let her through to speed things up. But the point is, for an easy life, letting everyone get away with it and what happens? accidents, but people are so narrow minded and only see the queue and impatience around them. Well done Mikey.
So she was in such a rush that she needed to break the law to drive down the wrong side...then proceeded to spend 8 minutes not moving anywhere as traffic flowed from the other side... a village is missing its idiot
I think the police now give the person the option to either take a awareness course, fixed penalty notice or go to court. Think if the person already had to go to an awareness course in the last 2-3 years they have to be given the fixed penalty notice
It’s an interesting situation you create Mikey. I do admire some of your actions, some not so much, but have you ever considered the fact that a lot of cars mount the pavement to pass the obstruction you cause? Wouldn’t they all be breaking the law too? Isn’t this a dangerous environment you create- you are not fully to blame of course as the car driver is also partially responsible. 06:51, isn’t this guy using his phone while driving, while mounting the pavement, number plate is visible….was he reported? From all the videos of yours I’ve watched, this according to you , would be highly irresponsible and dangerous, and yet it wasn’t mentioned? I think what got me thinking about what you do, is that in the end, the lady driver wasn’t forced to rejoin the line- were all those potentially dangerous situations really worth it? I admit I can’t put a number on the potential accidents/lives you have saved/spared from stopping these people breaking the law, I’m sure there are some or many…good luck with it all.
I create nothing - I only stop the largest and most immediate danger there. Pavement driving is the fault and the choice of those bad drivers entirely. Nobody forced them to drive illegally. I did report the driver who went past filming.
I've commented elsewhere on the "main event" of this video but also just to say, I'm baffled at the logic of the second blue car also attempting to go the wrong way when they can clearly see that the first car in front of them trying on the same trick has already been blocked! Almost makes me wonder if there is a qualifying sign underneath the "Keep Left" sign that says "Except Blue Cars".
One of the best 9 minutes I've spent watching UA-cam. Well done Mikey for sticking to your guns and having to put up with other brain cell deficient drivers mouthing off. Mind you, there was plenty of support for you with a few also breaking the law at the same time. Pity that PCSO? didn't have the balls to get her to reverse.
Absolutely appalling behaviour of that ignorant driver. & all of those other drivers telling you to move out of the way Mikey they should mind their own bloody business. It’s a shame she wasn’t prosecuted.
No, those other drivers should not mind their own business, that's exactly how behaviour like her's ends up being tolerated. They need to make a stand against dangerous driving just like Mikey does.
Perhaps you could get all the cars who drove over the pavement to get past and the cyclists who also went on the wrong side of the road. The trouble today is most have no manners. Drivers and cyclists alike. The amount of times I have pulled away from my bus stop with my indicators on and people still trying to catch up to overtake. The laws should apply to everyone!
Thing is I'm only one man, and I can deal with only one driver at a time. I did report the phone filming driver who went past on the pavement, but the police NFA'd it. I'm happy to focus on the most dangerous road users here, being the drivers who go the wrong way.
With people like her the more people that tell her she’s wrong the more she will resist because she feels deep rooted that the world has always been against her.

But yet you completely ignored the fellow in the vauxhall on the phone recording with one hand half on the kirb aslong as it suits your narrative right??
Jeez he can't do EVERYTHING at once...
If these drivers would go to bed half an hour earlier the night before, they could get up early enough to deal with the traffic and wouldn’t be tempted to drive the wrong way in the lane.
Wow. Someone who cannot admit when they are wrong.
Hang on Mikey the black fella was using his phone while driving 😂
You've met my Mrs?
The parking enforcement officer was wrong to let that driver thru, they would continue to drive like that forever now
Jeez, the tirade from other other driver saying Mikey is obstructing traffic considering she is actually holding up traffic
I'd really like to know what she was thinking all the time she was sat there!
Nothing that can be repeated in mixed company... probably...!
thinking about herself only
"Cars can go backwards!? Probably should have taken a lesson or two, before I fraudulently obtained my driving licence".
her driving lessons wherever they were taken probably didn't include reversing.
It’s great when the public actively show you support too. Love the Gandalf corner vids
The stupid thing I'd, if she had stayed in the queue she would be well on her way. At least no other driver can do the same while she's blocking the road. But methinks you've met your match there
Mickey, you really are brave to do this. If anyone deserves a Knighthood fo services to road safety, you positively do!
Absolutely!
Absolute legend, standing in the road, standing his ground, being beeped at non-stop by the driver and beeps and interactions from others in all directions.
Hear hear
100000% agree!
Mikey, may i suggest you purchasing a polarization filter for your camera, this will reduce the glare on the windscreen and side windows and give you a better shot of the drivers faces and actions etc! Keep up the good work
Great shout! Second this!
Mindy, might I suggest you and Gareth get a life and stop being self righteous, self appointed guardians of all that is good and proper. Life is too short to be taking delight in every little mishap or incident.
@Gareth Pepperelle that’s a good idea 👍
Watch UA-cam why Pilots don't wear polarized sunglasses.
I would disagree with you, point on the camera would be able to record the LED readout of the smart phone. Which makes the evidence stronger.
@@lavibrush would you have the same opinion if someone you loved got injured or killed by one of these morons that thinks it is ok to break the traffic laws
I reported him too, but the police chose to NFA.
Did not know that particular model of car does not have a reverse gear .
I love how this woman seems to think other car drivers will naturally be on her side......only for the Addison Lee driver to prove her wrong. 😂🤣😂
You know your driving is terrible when of all people an Addison Lee driver tells you so!
I don’t know why she escaped prosecution. She is either the most stubborn person in the world, or she is actually unable to reverse
Oh that was glorious. Shame about the wet wipe at the end letting her through. I’d have just stepped back in front again. 😂
Of course you would train man 🥱🥱🥱
@@vududua ???
Would you fuck you wouldn't be there in the first place
Did you prosecute that guy at 6:50 as well?
Why doesn’t the Met just post a permanent camera at this intersection to catch these clowns? It’s nuts that it takes a member of the public to take action.
I really really admire your staying power buddy.
Beeeeeeeep Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
Agreed Mikey's got courage...
That's what she said.
Thank you for giving your time to make the street safer. I love how she also uses a phone while blocking traffic
notice how they always wave their hands around as if there is nothing they can do about it.
Why is that random woman asking if you get paid? Like the only reason to be a good citizen is if you're getting paid...?
2:02 "we're all trying to get to work mate..."
What a silly maxim!? She enjoys the privilege of driving without anyone blocking her lane but wants my brother to allow someone to block and drive into oncoming traffic?
That's the lady he stopped before??? 🧐🧐🧐🧐
I’m a boxer. The boxing he does is opening the box of beer he buys.
Either way, I bet both of you have a six pack! ;-)
Yeah. I think we can make a pretty good guess what was in that Tesco bag.
Too many second prizes , as my old man used to say.
Reckon he recycles the cans with his nose too.
It may be that he meant to say he was an 'unboxer'...
It's so frustrating, I get their point, just let her through to speed things up. But the point is, for an easy life, letting everyone get away with it and what happens? accidents, but people are so narrow minded and only see the queue and impatience around them. Well done Mikey.
Who were those dorks that turned up at the end? Parks dept?
I know absolute idiots. CEPC my arse.
How about the guy filming her in the blue car, isn’t that illegal as well?
So she was in such a rush that she needed to break the law to drive down the wrong side...then proceeded to spend 8 minutes not moving anywhere as traffic flowed from the other side... a village is missing its idiot
The woman should have been prosecuted as she will believe she was in the right !
Shameful behaviour by her and the Met for poor action !
I don't understand . Why was she not prosecuted ? Makes no sense
I think the police now give the person the option to either take a awareness course, fixed penalty notice or go to court. Think if the person already had to go to an awareness course in the last 2-3 years they have to be given the fixed penalty notice
..... I think we know....
I really admire your courage Mikey, it takes some bottle to do that. Keep up the brilliant work!
The guy at the end really shouldn't have let her go forward.
That's the issue with British law enforcements, their directives are driven by politics.
@@joesam7744 they didn’t look like law enforcement?
Wow, went on so long it went into Advert country lol. What a nutter, and her mates Gobby Karen and Rocky Bourbona 🥃
Yes, in my case, the advert depicted a battleship, rather appropriately!
Rocky Bourbona😂😂
I don't know why I find this so entertaining thanks Mikey
Unable to reverse? She could never have passed her driving test in the old days.
(You had to reverse around a tight corner without touching the kerb).
Yeah, I remember having to do that!
Wasn't a pcso.
@@aLightingale I’m talking about the drivers who tell Mikey to get out of the way your not a Policeman etc.
Funny how u think the other drivers should mind their own business but it’s cool for him to police the roads!!!
On what basis did she get away with it? Seems fairly cut-and-dried to me!
What basis do you think?
Cos her case was cancelled due to Covid
She only got a driver's awareness course, which was cancelled due to covid, so basically she got away with it.
Lots of what are considered minor prosecutions were dropped due to covid to reduce the court backlog
@@thegreat_I_am - not the one you think.
So many cyclist do the same but they get a “cmon guys” but you’ll be filling when one gets knocked over by a car
Someone comes along and thinks they know best because they have a uniform. It's pathetic and that woman will never learn!
Her Hijab is on too tight
Noise out of her in the silver car would she be the same if she got ran over by someone doing it
Guy at 6.45 mounts the curb, cigarette in his mouth driving with one hand while using his phone to record the situation lol
Strange that Mikey didn't seem to have a problem with that.
@@kpjlflsknflksnflknsa says a lot about him
Don't worry, i reported him for driving whilst using mobile phone and driving on pavement.
I hope someone reported all the cyclists letting the side down to be honest!!
3:43 "Lose the ego and go back." God the irony is great
Out of interest did you report the bloke at 6:47 for being on his phone whilst driving?
I wondered why I have watched so many of these videos - then I realized - Schadenfreude
Yeah, I can't stand him either......
With people like her the more people that tell her she’s wrong the more she will resist because she feels deep rooted that the world has always been against her.
Was in a hurry as they did a illegal maneuver but has the time to sit there 😂. There needs to be some railings on the pavement to prevent people from going on there.
Was that the police who let her through? That is ridiculous. I hate that woman. You could hear her talking full of entitlement trying to justify what she was doing.
She is in the wrong . But you are making the situation worse and dangerous for more people . And you shouldnt give the bikes more privalige
The bloke who drove past on his phone filming her. Should have him too . Those crown estate throbbers. What powers do they have ! As for the female mouth almighty in the polo . Just urgh ! Threatening to punch people in the mouth. Then the pissed up “boxer” turns up. 😃 absolute gold. Well done Mikey
29 people who down thumbed so far think you should let people break the law.
If these are car drivers then they are a danger on the roads who should not be in possession of a driver licence.
Nearly as good as the angry Doctors one. Can’t believe she got away with it.
So many drivers and pedestrians who ‘can’t drive back’ what is the problem wth reversing gears ?
6:48 bloke in blue car on his phone , are you grassing him up ?
2:30 - Real life Catherine Tate's "Lauren" character - Am I bothered?
That's what I was thinking too
Agreed! The entitlement of these lawbreakers is breathtaking! Why is it always this corner? What makes them think this i a reasonable thing to do? Good work Mikey!
It’s an expensive solution, but I would wish to extend the raised island further back.
I want to know that guys story at 6:27
Wow I just saw and it made me Lol. As if you noticed that amongst all the other things going on. I also want to know now!
She should have gone back but she is one of those entitled ones - where we all know that the authorities are too scared to act against . Not fair - no equality.
Shambles, vehicles on the footpath near pedestrians, guy filming on his mobile as he drove past, park warden directing them further forward on the wrong side of the road. It would have been better to let them through after a brief moment.
