Sadly the Met declined to prosecute this one, and I'm unsure why, as I was given two different reasons, neither of which were correct or logical. Having passed the video by an experienced traffic officer who recently retired, his opinion is that the Met dropped the ball here. Ah well. I suspect the shame of appearing on here and behaving so badly and with such ego will be seen by most of your friends, family and colleagues.

And on another note, well done Mike, I was knocked off my bike by a small lorry on a straight stretch of the road where he literally swept me into a wall. Helmet smashed and I’m still recovering from the physical trauma my body went through. Not been on a bike since and this was back in 2018.

So today we’ve learned that you need to kick up a big old fuss, entice several other motorists into committing offences and make loads of unsubstantiated claims of threatening behaviour and victimisation and you’ll get off. Acknowledge your offence and reverse within a minute or two and you receive punishment. Great job 5-0.

The lengths people go to rather than humbly admit they've dangerously broken the law is amazing. As a bike and motorcycle rider these people are a damned nuisance.

The arrogance of this woman is mystifying. Never been told no in her life. Shame she wasn't prosecuted - probably makes her feel she was in the right to this day.
The worst part is that she didn't even end up going to the back of the queue like she was supposed to. For all intents and purposes, her effort to cut the line and get in front of everyone else basically worked. So along with not being prosecuted in any way, she probably feels both completely in the right and ready to do it all over again.
