I am so excited about this. It's amazing to me.... but honestly, this program is so much more "intelligent" in terms of its rather "human" approach to music. It does all of these wonderful technical things, and yet, at its base, it seems to be so much more intelligently engineered. I want to buy this program just because of how it thinks about music at an algorithm level. And frankly, the layout features and printing... it all just seems amazing to me. I can't wait for some of the features in this program. As an organist, I encounter and write much music that crosses staves. The built in support for this feature (and in particular, the option for more complicated slur shapes!) looks really impressive and flexible.

Will it have the "scrub" feature that Finale has?

      What is this "scrub" feature?

You can hold a certain key combination and essentially freeze the music as it plays whatever notes are sounding at that moment. It is like hitting a pause button - you can check vertical harmonies, etc. It also plays as you scroll the cursor across the screen. It is a wonderful feature and it is hard to explain in type!

+eddy wery The main purpose of the program is notation rather than sound. However they will add Cubase sounding engine to this app, so I'm pretty sure it will have the best sound.

+eddy wery I didn't mean that you need to switch between Dorico and Cubase. I said that the Cubase engine will be incorporated into Dorico so that Dorico has same kind of sounding as Cubase do.
