Cherry Valley is the old school and Cristina's is where you go after partying. They're both great
Craig seems to be a Cool Cat and says what he is feeling on those taste buds. Cherry Valley looks like it would be my cup-a-tea.
Cutlets, for me, have to be pounded out thinly before breading and lightly pan fried. Thin is better with cutlets -especially in a sangwich - so then the layers will have a better bite.

This has been a back and forth for years in Queens. Cherry Valley is the OG and the go to always.
This is an easy decision for me after hearing both Craigs' and JL's opinion. Cherry Valley all day! Dryness kills any sandwich for me no matter the bread. It can still be good but and "moist" to any sandwich, especially chicken cutlet, and the flavor in every bite will blastoff! That's it. Ain't no more to it. 💙💯👍🏾👊🏾🙏🏾

I'm surprised that from TWO delis in Queens there was no Italian hero. The Italian hero is the way to go, every time. I'm talking, pick your meat(s), the provolone, the o/v, oregano sprinkle, the peppers... For me, chicken cutlets belong on a plate unless they're inundated with marinara sauce and fresh mozz on the roll...

Cherry Valley looks like a local homey convenience store that has everything good and the owner knows the regulars by name. I LOVE such spots, I'd pick it all day long. And even the hot food is better? No competition then. 👏😘
Cherry Valley is an official late night spot, but you've gotta try Sal, Kris & Charlies in Astoria (The Bomb Sandwich.)...Also, Benaterri's in College Point.

the chicken cutlet from cherry looked like a standard frozen chicken cutlet. Cristinas looked homemade and hand breaded

yes I heard the chicken cutlets from Christina's is a fresh homemade cutlet. And those frozen chicken cutlets suck. Any day of fresh breaded chicken cutlet is better

Ok i just finished it and honestly I liked the look of Cristina's more. The cutlet mightve been dry but the cheese and fries made it sound more appealing to me although Cherry Valley's look good too. But those fries tho!? Those fries are another conversation. Cherry valley for the win for sure

Brother man is honest.Chicken was dry. The second deli looked like a better sandwich. Cherry Valley. Onion rings juicy chicken and BBQ sauce. Kind of a western kick to it.👍♥️♥️😘😎🤑

Go to Mama’s (Leo’s Latticini) in Corona Queens and get the Turkey with Gravy.
Unfortunately you went to the wrong two spots for sandwiches. The two places you hit up are late night eat spots for young adults. If you are looking for a real deal sandwich, hit up Tony’s Beechhurst Deli right around the corner on 154 street. The second spot is Benateri’s Italian Deli at College Point 129-21 14th ave. Benateri’s has a very nice selection of hot food daily on top of their sandwiches. They make a Columbian chicken dish on Thursday’s that pretty,pretty,pretty good. Both of these places blow away Christina’s and Cherry Valley, it’s not even close.

Hey JL I live in Utica ny, I been following your journey for awhile I always love the content. I went to sweet t’s from your recommendation, it was good definitely worth the trip but we have a gem called soul112 soul food spot owner was a long time chef out of nyc. You need to check this place out I promise you sweet t’s doesn’t have nothing on it & I enjoyed the food

You look at what makes a sandwich is it the ingredients or bread or how it’s made.but as always it can look great and smell great but the texture and tastes,will tell you if it’s delicious to you or not.

I make a heart attack special I've been calling it that for over 10 years everyone that tries it loves it and they will seriously have you thinking should I be eating this but it's the best thing you will ever eat I'm not going to put my recipe out there but if you want it and are willing to drive to Knoxville Tennessee to eat it for JL I'll do it for free anybody else it's 15 bucks for a sandwich and a can coke you better bring some napkins a rags handy wipes something cuz it's going to be messy LoL 💯💯💯
