Frank is legitimately one of the best presenters I've ever seen on camera. Not just at Munchies, or for a UA-cam pizza show, but any presenter/host. Impossible not to like, and root for.
@Dr. Phil's creampie lounge I only think,he sometimes said that the food was great, even when he really didn't liked it.To vell mannered lol but you can't find so easily a show host, that has real passion about something and is so down to earth like he is.But there were days i disliked puppy videos because i was piss off, everyone can have his opinion. At least i hope you enjoyed some episodes from the pizza show
Brings tears to my eyes my friend. Dude is a legend that needs so so so so much more love. Outstanding presenting. It feels like I am on the other side of the table.
I just watched this episode of munchies recently: ua-cam.com/video/E73UexQCFvM/v-deo.htmlm58s that episode was four years ago... waaaay before he got his Pizza Show. You could see him sportin that Giacomo's shirt inside HIS OWN pizza shop at Best Pizza. Sportin that shirt was paying homage to Giacomo's just illustrates what you said... and he was doing that before he got his own show. truly genuine and a class act. Frank's the fucken man.
The fact that Frank makes his own mozz is fucking amazing. That takes so much craftsmanship and time. If I catch myself in Brooklyn, I'm definitely making a stop at Best.
You'd be surprised. You can make some in 30 min lol. Not to knock on the guy but it does show if you want the best, you gotta do certain things yourself. It all becomes a part of this multi-layered journey. Cooking is the best. I now make my own breads, fresh pastas, sushi, chinese take-out style dishes, soft flour tortillas for making my own burritos and other wraps, cliff bars, chili, stews, breakfast deli sandwiches on my own english muffins from scratch. Then every now and then, I check out a bunch of tasty videos for some inspiration lol. Enjoy. :) Now confident on various styles of pizza, especially classic Sicilian sfincione and Napoli haha
Ive tried best pizza a few months ago. It was very good but the grandma slice was freaking god tier. It literally was the most perfect golden oily crispy crust I’ve ever held. You get to draw on a paper plate theres a wall filled with them
He is a great human being, he understands the essence of being a human being, to respect your peers, acknowledging peoples contribution to making who you are. You my good sir is probably the greatest pizza guy that ever will be. I will visit your establishment someday soon to show my humble appreciation
I went to Best Pizza when I visited NYC specifically because of this show. Great pizza and the staff was great. I would've loved to meet Frank but still had a good experience.
I get over to that part of Williamsburg regularly. I tried it and it was decent, though I wouldn't say it was amazing compared to some other places I've been at roughly the same price point and the vibe is a little touristy. I bet the pies are better than the slices. I'll go back again for a second try. L&B Spumoni Gardens, on the other hand, is crazy good, but it's way out in South Bensonhurst so not touristy at all and a fairly long trip.
The fact the Frank pays tribute to Bill Meier for being his pizza delivery guy just shows you how much of a caring human being that Frank is. As well as how much he values human interactions and relationships. Honestly, that’s very special. RIP Bill Meier and God bless Frank Pinello. Much love.
Frank is such a cool dude. I love the pride he takes for his family, work an neighbourhood. I also love his New York accent! If I ever visit New York, i'm going to Best Pizza
Time is a real fucker... the first episode, what 2 yrs ago, Bill is riding his bike and Nonna's cranking out food in the kitchen... now Nonna's chilling in style like the Don. Make the best of time everyone.
I love Frank man. Such a cool, humble guy. I really respect how much he reveres his mentors and elders. Rest In Peace Bill, you were the back bone bro....your energy is sorely missed. Much future success to u Frank, and may Nonna live forever.
I love Franks humility, and light-hearted living in the moment, style...his focus on always wanting to learn more and share it keeps me coming back. Family is his core, sad to see in our society, that is lost on so many.
I gotta admit, the host is seriously such a genuine sweet guy. Always passionate, always grateful and a family man who serves not only his community but serves us with entertainment, social life, food, etc. He is the reason why I am so interested in pizza lately, I crave it all the time now. Please keep making these videos, they are life changing! Peace!
Me being Sicilian I'm proud to see other sicilians keeping traditions alive and working hard like our grandparents and parents did when they came here. Cheers Frank.
Frank is the greatest thing to come to "food" TV. The man is a superstar in the making. Reason? Humility and honesty. This my friends is what makes a superstar. Take Gordan Ramsey for example. On the surface, he looks like an arrogant human. But nope. When shown his ways from someone that knows what they are doing (His recent series in the jungles and whatnot) he takes a step back and takes what they have to heart. Frank...dude will take advice from me for no reason on how to make a hotdog. Dude is a legend. I wish and hope and pray to one day have a taste of his pizzas!
"Coulda brought some pizza tho" that had me laughin, and so true tho. working all day in a place like that, nothing would be better than a couple of fresh hot pies to snack on.
Wow One of my favorite episodes. I live in Poughkeepsie NY Right by that Giacomo’s and CIA It’s awesome to see him driving down the streets that I know. I’ve been to that Giacomo’s and it’s really good. Good luck with everything you do bro
Frank seem like such a cool and down to earth guy doing what he loves. He has such an appreciation and humbleness for his family and mentors. Its awesome to see...I wish him well
Frank is lucky to live in an area that supports local pizzerias. My city is all about chain pizza, local spots don't last. Most of the local pizza spots aren't going for authentic they're for crazy toppings combos. A small shop with good pizza is all Im asking for.
IDiggPattyMayonnaise Be the change you want to see. But also don't throw your money away diving blind into the food service industry. Idk do whatever the fuck you want I guess
I live in Washington state, and the pizza culture is almost non-existent here. The only places that aren't chains are overpriced as shit, and while the quality is better than the chains, it doesn't live up to its price point. There's just not a market for pizzerias unless it's a big city.
In Germany we don't have chains, except pizza hut, which closes one after another, because italy is 2 hrs. by plane or depends on where in germany 5-10 hrs of driving, we have original italians doing original italian pizza everywhere in the country, bless up !
I have watched several of this guy’s videos and it just dawned on me why he is successful: Humility. I’m sure there are other people out there with talent and ambition but humility is a rare commodity these days and this is proof that it is still valued. I live in Germany but next time I am in New York I will definitely check out these pizzerias.
I swear I love The Pizza Show with all my heart, Frank is an amazing host as well and it's so interesting to listen to what he knows and what he does.... Also, NYC looks like such a fascinating place, it's amazing to see so many different cultures and so many warm people who share with each other everyday!
You can tell Frank knows how to eat pizza just by watching what he does immediately, without hesitation, after the sauce drips off his square slice at Spumoni's Garden
Thank you Frank for letting the world into the home of your family, that was great. I know this video is almost 2-years old now, but hey, Sorry i am late, I still came. Your pizza place and the stores you visited......To die for !! Keep the video's coming, We all want to see more about pizza !!
This episode, let alone this whole series has truly inspired me to open up a," Best Pizza" in my home town! Literally I've worked in pizza/fast food for the past 15 years. What my home town wants and honestly truly needs is A "Best Pizza'!!! Homemade cheeses. Dough sauce everything!
Turkish cuisine and generally Eastern food is a whole different world from Mediterranean cuisine. Unless you refer to Minor Asia where mamy Greeks lived before the Young Turks genocide.
Frank listens hwith rapt attention to his former teacher. He stands next to him with his arms folded, with utmost respect. He brings up moments where he was taught something, you can tell by the look on his face he is grateful. Frank, you have my heart sir ♥️
Watching how close he is with he’s family makes me happy and sad. Happy for him, and he’s family. But in a way, I’m kinda sad. That’s something I’ve always wanted. Maybe one day I can start my own family.
Frank, Love your Best Pizza and love all the youtube, you are the bomb! Your nonna is adorable and you have a lovely family. Great guy, good head on your shoulders, you care about quality and most of all you care about your customers. God Bless you and your family, and all the best to all your businesses! Buona Fortuna, e auguri!!!
17:11 " Thanks Frank, you could've brought some pizza" is the most italian thing I haver ever seen and remined me so much of my cousins and uncles back home when I go to visit.
Iv been a construction worker in nz for the last 15 years, all ways obsessed with food, unemployed now, tell ya man this is what I have always wanted to do with my life, food, flavour, texture... so good
thx frankie..... as a teen ager i worked at a sbarros and forgot it all..... during the pandemic tho i started making dough balls again and now me and my kids make pizza everyday. Dough and sauce from scratch thx bro peace.
Respect man! Your humbleness, your deep motivation to make your viewer understand the passion behind every food cultures you present, is something really special! Cheers from Bologna (Italy), hope to see you here to show our local traditional cuisine! Peace
The one thing about Frank I like the most is .. he is so respectful of where he came from and stays humble to where he is now. I recently saw a BEST PIZZA review from ONE BITE everybody knows the rules guy.. and he gave BEST PIZZA a really good score. I can't wait to get back to NYC and travel on down to get a slice.. keep up the good work Frank!
Can’t believe I missed this video! Greetings from Poughkeepsie! I live 1 mile from the original Giacomo’s on Spackenkill Rd. My youngest Son lives in Brooklyn and when he visits its Grandma Pie from Giacomos time! I also have a niece who graduated from the CIA. The campus is beautiful! I’ve been here since 1964. Toured the Seminary part of the CIA in 1972. Love your videos❤️
Hi Frank, I just started watching your videos. Your pizza looks amazing! I Love how you gave homage to all the people that guided you from the very beginning. Your family is Lovely. And you, so humble you deserve all the. Blessings God has to offer.
I think its safe to say everyone loves Frank. He's such a chill dude who really loves what he does, and it shows. Great presenter. Keep The Pizza Show going, it's definitely a staple on Munchies
Watching this was such a learning experience. I haven't seen such a humble, grateful guy. I wish I learn to find my roots again someday, just like this. It's really an gratifying experience to achieve what you'd set out to do, and one day just sit back and cherish the journey that you've been on.
You're dedication to making pizza the old school way is the reason that you are such a successful pizzaoli IMO, if I ever, but highly unlikely get to Gotham City, I'll be sure to visit your pizzeria!
in challenging times like this now, all you need is some comfort, feel-good video, no big stories, no deep convos; just some legend, like Frank Pinello and some good vibe
Frank, it’s eerie how similar our lives are. My dad came off the boat in 1969 and opened up his first pizza place in 1972. I was born and raised in the business, eventually owning a couple of my own places. My father got sick so I sold my place and went and got a job making pizza for someone else so I can spend more time with them and he has since passed away. So now I don’t know whether or not I should open another place. But the family time with my family is exactly the way it is with yours and it’s just good to see people live in the same kind of life. Much love
Frank is legitimately one of the best presenters I've ever seen on camera. Not just at Munchies, or for a UA-cam pizza show, but any presenter/host. Impossible not to like, and root for.
@Dr. Phil's creampie lounge what males you think any of that other than just to simply think the exact opposite of everybody else?? Lol
At least i hope you enjoyed some episodes from the pizza show
Can we talk about the dance moves of the guy at 10:03 though?
Brings tears to my eyes my friend. Dude is a legend that needs so so so so much more love. Outstanding presenting. It feels like I am on the other side of the table.
He’s super cute too 🥰
This is why Frank is such a good host. The episode is titled "All about Frank" and Frank spends the whole episode making it all about everyone else.
Great italian family!!!
Well said
he's talking about pizza so he kinda has to talk about other people.
All of these factors is the reason he is who he is today. The beauty is that he hasn't forgotten where he came from.
Frank would make an awesome father.
Man Frank is such a swell, cool dude. Really nice episode of him going back to his roots and showing us his influences
Toby K. He's my dad funnily enough
Lucky dude

Toby K. I agree brotha

The fact that Frank makes his own mozz is fucking amazing. That takes so much craftsmanship and time. If I catch myself in Brooklyn, I'm definitely making a stop at Best.

Just got a pie from Best Pizza for my birthday today. So good.
He is a great human being, he understands the essence of being a human being, to respect your peers, acknowledging peoples contribution to making who you are.
You my good sir is probably the greatest pizza guy that ever will be. I will visit your establishment someday soon to show my humble appreciation
Very well said. And possibly the most kind and most well deserved comment on UA-cam. I hope your next pizza tastes really good!
@Toni Memetaj the fuck? If you're gonna say something like that atleast back it up
@Toni Memetaj okay, I hope you get drafted

Giacomo's bit is very emotional and inspiring. Everyone should have a good mentor.

when Bill was on the show he basically shushed him lol, idk if their chemistry was really that good 😂
I think this is the best episode so far. Seeing Frank reconnect with his old mentor, it was like he was a little kid.
Frank is such a cool dude. I love the pride he takes for his family, work an neighbourhood. I also love his New York accent! If I ever visit New York, i'm going to Best Pizza

Frank conveys so much heart in his videos. His passion shows through in everything he does.
The duel guitars in the background at 11:45 is so touching, as he's talking about his home and his passion. Great editing
Frank is like the italian cousin of Jason Statham....he is the pizza transporter~
You just blew my freakin mind!!

Hi Frank, I just started watching your videos. Your pizza looks amazing! I Love how you gave homage to all the people that guided you from the very beginning. Your family is Lovely. And you, so humble you deserve all the. Blessings God has to offer.

19:25 That meat is tough as fsck! Looks like lamb loin chops they ruined and also cut the best part, the crispy fat, off.
yeah, don't know what that was... look like bit of effort to cut it

I think its safe to say everyone loves Frank. He's such a chill dude who really loves what he does, and it shows. Great presenter. Keep The Pizza Show going, it's definitely a staple on Munchies

This is my favourite pizza show episode.
Watching this was such a learning experience. I haven't seen such a humble, grateful guy. I wish I learn to find my roots again someday, just like this. It's really an gratifying experience to achieve what you'd set out to do, and one day just sit back and cherish the journey that you've been on.
The dinner with Frank's family is so heartwarming. You just feel at home watching all of them together
what Frank makes at Best Pizza and La Rosa is nothing short of art.
Love from Atlanta🤘🏾. Can’t wait to get back to NYC, definitely stopping by Frank’s spot fasho🍕
Much love
