Dude needs to incorporate his business for tax reasons. Sole props get fleeced with taxes, especially in NYC. Playing $300K in taxes, he could chop that in half with a good tax accountant and proper structuring. Way more loopholes as a corporation, plus it’s easier to get funding/credit lines, which he seems adverse to. Buying all his product with a corporate AMEX, he’d get so many bonus points.
smart brother
Let him know? I'm sure your information would be well received.
355K out of 1.2Mill, why do you think thats bad i cannot comprehend, thats 845k left for a single year, a small store like this, without hundreds of employees. Seriously, i still cannot understand why u think thats somehow bad. Maybe many rich people evade taxes, but that doesnt make it right, let them choose what to do. Theyre definitely not gonna be living off welfare with 845k in one year, even if the store closed doors at the end of the year.
Theyre doing great, talking like that is like calling them fools for doing the right thing, which is ironic, and greedy. Say i make 10 mill a year, taxes take 50% i keep 5 mill, am i gonna be sleepless at night over 5million? when i have 5 million in my bank account? maybe 4 million after paying costs and wages? Thats straight greed Nino.
"See ya! and i wouldn't wannabe ya."
@bryanmoyna9715 😄 I disagree, if his already successful. Why not get more and give some back to the people. It's not just about his wealth his community and where he came from ( his a immigrate why not try to make generational weath). I'm guessing you grew here. you're just on your high horse( this not polo). If I made 10 mill and they took 5 I'd be mad af because I could have helped more people with that money. Provide more jobs give more to charity. It's not greed if you work for it.

This brother needs to figure a way to solve the demand and supply issue. He has more demand than he can supply, plus losing opportunity for transactions for the request of deliveries. I hope he is able to scale and supply the demand not only at the physical location for customers waiting but also for the customers wanting deliveries.
Did you go to Harvard business school? God tier analysis here thank you
He’s still in the stage of building the brand. Did you not see how they got discovered because of the influencer? The lines will have the same effect. The kind of sandwiches they serve will suffer with delivery. People are irrational and confuse a sloppy sandwich or poor delivery experience with the deli itself. This is incredible short term thinking lol…
I agree 100%. But I’ve come to the realization that not every business wants to scale up. The “bigger
is better” model is not always the end goal. Sometimes niche/artisanal is the goal. The scarcity/line aspect is part of the brand. Perhaps if/when things die down a bit, they will pivot into a different model that leads into greater scalability and functionality in supply chain.
@@jh0720with a even longer line probably with this footage and some people are fickle. Who wanna wait in line indefinitely, and to be a silver fox is doing all those things they not satisfying and taking market share
I got a feeling he is doing ok.
What will be a problem is success and family issues of theft, laziness and resentment and expectations.

Jamaican beef patties and Jerk Chicken are the 2 best foods on the planet. They are my "death row" meals and I am not even Jamaican. As someone who worked in food, thank you for not letting those who call skip ahead of the line. People will pull up, see a line, and call from the car thinking that they are clever in skipping the line. Some get stupid angry about it but everyone should wait their turn.

@@FiveDORRA Like, that is your opinion man. To me, that is what I love.
@@jaklg7905 no it's not just my opinion, ask one thousand people And I'll be surprised if even 3 people say Jamaican food is their favourite
@@FiveDORRA If you ask 1000 people, 999 would not have even tried Jamaican food. The city where I live doesn't even have any Jamaican restaurants so unless someone has actually gone and tried it locally, they wouldn't know if they liked it or not. Again, this was MY opinion.
