The smell is coming from your vta catch cans. You should maintain an enclosed pcv system on a street car, so 1. You don’t get the smells in the cabin and 2. It’s important to circulate fresh air through the crankcase

I guess I was expecting a "smooth" build with no revisions required and I now realize that in the real world, things don't always go as planned. For now I'm just really happy that I have my car back 😊
The sound you might be hearing near the turbo might be the intercooler piping take some door trim and put it around the hole it’ll save the pipe from rubbing and will protect it from vibration
@@TheGCJourney yes where it enters the fender I would check and make sure it isn’t bouncing in that fender hole. I had this issue on my sf5 forester when I went to a front mount set up. I used the same intercooler piping as a GC8. You could use door trim or even rubber hose cut down the middle so it’s able to go over the cut out where that intercooler pipe is to possible prevent the noise you were hearing.

@@jmegetkrunk No, no rattling at idol. When depressed it makes the usual twin plate grinding noises but no rattling. It just doesn't want to let you slip when trying to start moving the car

Recirculate your catch can so it's not going to atmosphere, those little filter on the catch cans always let out that smell

The rattle is probably the twin disc, totally normal, see if the noise goes away when U apply the clutch,
I can't seem to get the car rolling from a stand still without the clutch rattling half the bolts loose in the car

הקאץ' קן פולט לאטמוספרה דרך הנשמים. חשבתי שאולי הוא יסנן את הריחות איכשהו אבל נראה שטעיתי חחח
