Are you still able to push the car in high speeds or is it too risky? I’m thinking about getting the same setup because I have the same issue in terms of the 225 hitting the fenders and I really want that particular rim on.
Nice video. Please provide some details on your application. Year, make and model of car. Original wheel sizes and tires please. How’s the car perform and drive?
Hi Andrew, i’m bagged and getting 18x9.5 Work Meister S1 3P wheels but i can’t decide whether to go 215/40 or 215/35? I’m looking fender to lip fitment and want to clear everything and not rub, especially when turning.
What’s going on brother nice ride btw I have the same one, my question is I have 18x8.5 with et 40 I was looking at getting a 215/40 tire with coils maxed out, with perch and collars in and plan on taking the screw out of the fenders should that tire be fine?
Have an 01 IS300. Going to drop it an inch or two. Just enough to get rid of the gap. Running ESR SR04’s 18x8.5 30 all around. 3mm spacers to clear the calipers. Would 225/35 or 215/40 fit well?
i just bought some 18x8.5 rims and 225/35 tires for my gli. will it rub at all i didn’t put my coilovers on yet. Idk how low i can drop it without rub issues.
Hey its Andrew here. I ran 225/35s on my first set of wheels on my GLI and was dropped a solid 2". I swapped to 215/35s and had my H&R coilovers basically maxed out. But in order to get as low as possible I also ran a camber kit from and rear with a few degrees of negative camber. That will allow you to angle the wheel in slightly and do a full turn without rubbing. Typically test fitting suspension takes a few times to get it spot on. Drop it a little bit bull the jack out, let it settle and see if thats the look your going for. Took me a few times and some tweaking to get it spot on. Certain coils have more thread and allow for more drop than others. So there isn't a exact answer. Good luck!
I just got my new wheels but I’m not sure what tires would be better for me my rims are 18x8.5+30 they are going on a 2013 Honda Civic LX what tire size would you or anybody here recommend me to get

tyler beaumont yes, it would sit 13mm more inside the fender, making the stretch pointless unless you use spacers to push wheel back out. Also, depending on wheel style/brand/width the wheel face may look different at higher offsets, generally the lower the offset the more ability to add concave/lip

We can definitely do that!
I have coilover over on my car but it don’t go lower. What coilover you on it?
im running a staggered setup. my rears are 18 x 8.5 so id run the 215s. but my fronts are 18x8. what size for the fronts to get same look?
greg0716 late reply but 205
On a 18x8.5 I see most people run a +35 with no issues at all, will a lowered setup on a +32 rub when turning???
If your turning and hit a pothole will your rims get damaged like cracked or bent or will it pop?
Depends how hard you hit them and the angle! Definitely a high possibility it will scratch or bend!
Damm that sucks bro i just bought some 18 inch whislers and im trying to get the perfect size for looks and good meat for pot hole defense
Elgigi 55 what size did you run ?
What brand of wheels are the other ones showing?
TSW Rascasse
I'm thinking about throwing the same size on XXr 962's 18
how much air in the tires 215 35 19 on 8.5 jot
These wheels seem to be discontinued, what nankang tires do you guys think would be good for stretching in 2019 ?
Falken's are a great tire brand for stretching!
I have a 2010 Corolla If I purchase a 18x8 + 34 offset would I have clearance on my wheel well.? On 215/35/18
Im assuming stock ride height? If so, yes. :D
There is nothing you can do to make a corolla look better.
No need to worry about tires size when your stock height only apply a to lowered cars mostly.

@@FitmentIndustries I have a 2010 accord coupe. Will 19x8.5 +30 fit without fender roll in the front without rubbing on lowering springs? Tia

Great explained ! Thanks
Great video exactly what I needed to know 👌🏼
You always seem to forget to mention that offset plays a big part in having to stretch ..
Offset plays a huge factor in stretch, sadly though we try to keep the videos within a time frame and some things just slip up!
Fitment Industries would +45 offset look different then the +32?
tyler beaumont yes, it would sit 13mm more inside the fender, making the stretch pointless unless you use spacers to push wheel back out. f3irty I thought the offset was +45, they were given to me by my buddy, I asked him what offset he said they were and he said 0 offset
Can you show a 16x8 on a 195/45 ? Asking for a friend....
this, to me, is "The" "Fitment".....
Not worth it. Potholes.. 🤷♂️
