- Winter Ice is a Crochet One-Skein Lace Shawl with a beautiful drape, using approx. 400m of fingering weight yarn. One beautiful skein of yarn is all that is needed to show off this very pretty and lacy triangle shawl/scarf pattern in an easy 2-row repeat.

I learned to knit because I used to believe that crochet shawls lacked the lacy ethereal look that knitted shawls have. WOW! YOU CHANGED MY MIND! Your designs are, hands down the most gorgeous creations on earth.
Thank you so much!
Thank you Annie. Beautiful shawl, and easy to follow tutorial💗. Also, it’s very kind of you to make the written pattern available for free. Thank you for your kindness.
This looks lovely. I am grateful that you speak clearly and go slow enough to follow
You are a great, calm teacher!! Beautiful!
Thank you, Annie for teaching this beautiful shawl!! You are very kind and your projects are all interesting, easy and gorgeous.
Thank you so much!
Thank you Carmem for sharing this gorgeous crochet shawl tutorial, I just began to learn crochet and this beautiful tutorial for sure will help me to make this gorgeous shawl ! You are a wonderful crochet Teacher and your crochet works and design are absolutely stunning ! 😊💗
As I crocheted the Vintage Peach shawl, I decided Winter Ice would be in my future. I am ready! Mine will be done up in mint green cotton. Your teaching style is exquisite. Thank you.
Love your tutorials and patterns. Easy, yet very elegant. Thank you
I just had to come back and tell you how much I enjoyed making this shawl. I made it in a green ombré and I received so many compliments and requests for me to make more for friends and family. I have made this pattern more times than I can tell you, in a variety of colours as well as yarn types. It has been a huge hit. I was looking to make another shawl and came back to your channel as your designs are always so beautiful.
Recently I used this pattern to just make the first 5 rows, did a second one the same, then stitched it together, leaving just the wide end opened to create a lacy book mark for a friend to place over the corner of the page in whatever book she is reading. She absolutely loved it. And I have played around trying to make a square table cloth with the pattern by making the shawl as large as I want the square and then carrying on, reducing on each row until I get to the end. While it was not perfect, no one who has seen it has noticed the imperfections except me. But it made a great delicate and lacy tablecloth on my phone console table to add to the room’s bohemian decor.
Thanks again for sharing your patterns and tutorials. They truly are much appreciated! I absolutely love them and I have shared your channel with the few crocheters I know.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind comment:)
Nice!! Have you ever done crotchet around a middle peice of fabric? I would like to do this design but use a peice of fabric i have as the center part. But i have no idea how ir if that can be done. I can only find tatting type or very fine thréad lace done this way. Maybe you might know?
This yarn is stunning love the color
This is beautiful. Another one to add to my 'to make' list lol. Thank you so much.
