Not only the pattern is beautiful , equally wonderful is your way of teaching it. Thank you immensely
Thank you so much!
Dear Tuula,
Thank you for sharing your stitch patterns. It looks amazing.
Take care and stay safe and well. God’s blessings to you all 🙏🏽💜🧶😻🐶
Tuula the shawl is so beautiful! It will make a lovely summer shawl cause here in South Africa it cools down at night in summer, I just love your tutorials !! 🥰🧶🌼
Wonderful, thank you, glad it will come in useful for you!
So cool, thank you! I love c2c but wanted more open stitches like lace, this is perfect!
Wonderful!
Brilliant and Simple. Thank You
So clearly filmed and explained! I've made an afghan out of C2C and I loved doing it. I'm excited to crochet an airy shawl using the longer chains.
Thank you, great to hear it is clear to follow!
I finished my first ever C2C blanket last month. I love the way it turned out. But your tutorial will make my next blanket more defined....it's just what I'm looking for. So I'll be making my next c2c following your tutorial. Thank you so much...!!
That's great, yes, adding the few stitches makes a difference in how it looks! Have fun making the next one 🙂
Love this c2c so pretty. And you are so good to follow.THANK YOU.👍🇦🇺
Thank you, great to hear!
Hi Tuula. This is gorgeous! I could listen to you all day. Canada loves you.
Ooh, that's lovely to hear :)
I thought this was going to be hard, but it's not! This would make a lovely fall shawl. Thank you 🤗
True, not hard! Yes, definitely make a shawl!
Took me half dozen tries but it's so beautiful I had to finally get the hang of it. Thank you!
Wonderful!
Thank you Tuula this is so clever & useful too! I love this looser version !
Great, glad to hear!
Yes like this crochet version. Thank you. 👍
Exactly what I have been looking for. Thanks
That's great, enjoy crocheting using the technique! 😊
Great idea. I'll try that shawl.
Stunning!
Thanks for another great one
I just started making a rectangular wrap using your tutorial. I'm using fingering weight yarn with a 3.75 mm crochet hook, and so far it looks wonderful. Thank you 😊
Sounds great, that's lovely!
This is lovely. In my list to do. Thanks.
Great, thank you!
I love this look of c2c much more...ty tuula... so beautiful 😍....
Glad you like it!
Sensacional! Assim fica mais bonito! Obrigada por compartilhar 💗 🇧🇷
I just have to tell you I'm having a good time with my shawl I picked it right up tried c2c before with your instruction I got it right away
That's great to hear, I'm sure your shawl will be lovely!
Thank you so much!!! ❣️
I love c2c but I do not like how tight the original one feels as a scarf. This is fantastic & simple. Thank you so much you are so very clear & precise. Your videos are easy to follow! Thank you for including colour changes & decreases. Thank you
Thank you, great to hear it is helpful!
@@TuulaMaaria I cannot find you on fb will you please include a link

Like this idea thanks
Kiitos tästä ohjeesta! Minulla on runsaasti kasvivärjättyjä villalankoja joille en ole keksinyt käyttöä. Nyt aloitin huivin vai tulleeko siitä vauvan peitto.
Kiva! Tällaisessa tosiaan kauniit värjäty langat pääsee edukseen!
Ms. Tuula! This is gorgeous! I will be making this soon! 🥰. Have u named the stitch yet? I have a few suggestions! If u don't mind that is! 😉. I saw someone post about it in Reddit and it was gorgeous too! I think you should call it "The North Star Stitch". Or maybe, "Stars & Stripe's Blanket" Just a thought, but you know what they say about opinions... Everybody has them, 😂. Thanks again for all your amazing videos! As long as u keep making them I, and all my yarn art friends, will keep watching! Thanks for tackling the hard stuff! ❤️
Thank you! I had forgotten about that stitch, those are good suggestions! 💜
I really want to do the shawl and lucky me I have just the yarn thanks
I like the tighter stitches for this like you showed in the beginning .. do you have a Utube video for that one
No, I haven't got one for that, just decided not to make one because there are so many good ones on UA-cam!
Thank you for this wonderful stitch.is it possible to make this a rectangle shawl
Yes, by working the edges differently. That would be a good idea for another tutorial!
I'm ready now too :-)
Is there a written tutorial for the shawl? Beautiful
Yes, I have the basic stitches explained in my blog. You find it at the end of the page below the video in www.knit-crochet-blog.com/how-to-crochet-lighter-corner-to-corner-stitch 😊
Thank you for this tutorial! I just came across your channel and I love it!! Your explanation is very easy to follow! I have a question and hope you can help me. I have started a C2C afghan before seeing this video and I would like for the colors to match at each end but I have no idea how or when to start decreasing. Right now it is approximately 57 inches wide and I have 75 rows. I hope this makes sense.
I'm trying to understand what way it would go but I'm afraid I'm so bad at maths that without actually having the piece in front of me I can't picture it in my head!
@@TuulaMaaria that's ok. I appreciate you getting back to me. Have a wonderful day!
What yarn and what size crochet hook are you using? I love this , very pretty
The yarn is basic wool in double knitting weight and hook size if 4 mm. But that's quite thick for a shawl as it is just to show the technique. You could use finer yarn and hook 3.5 mm.
Dear Tuula, I wonder is it possible make zig zag with this tehcniks? jill sander's fashion show has a like this pattern. I tried to do But I couldn't manage
Yes, it's possible to do any design with this technique, just like with the tight pixel crochet. You could follow instructions and chart for a design and just add the chains in between pixels.
How to make a rectangle? I haven't done a complete regular C2C yet? Ice rather do this version that's more lacey.
Thank you
Towards the end of the video, at 8:45, I'm showing how to decrease, so to make a rectangle you first start to decrease from one side and continue increasing on the other until the piece is big enough.
What would you advise to finish off the edge for use as a shawl?
I haven't used anything for the edge, just stopped crocheting. But you could make a border of single crochets or especially reverse single crochet look good.
Thanks for the Tutorials.
The 1st one I watch you do was the same with this one but it had Pecos on it.
How many times do you turn one up N Crochet into it to start another Row?
Take Care N Stay Safe 🤍💜🤍
The new one and this one don't have exactly the same amounts of stitches, the new one is lacier because it has 2 chains everywhere, this video only has one.
I'm sorry I don't understand the question - what to turn up?
@@TuulaMaaria
I know it a little different because of the Pecos N the light wait yarn.
How you flip up the three Double Crochets N connected them to start a Second Row how many times do we have to do that.
@@1lonelyCrochet7307 Just once, to turn it.
I would like to see a sweater tutorial done in c2c, I can't find a pattern anywhere
@@1lonelyCrochet7307 thank-you so much I will do that
Onko mahdollista saada suomenkielisiä ohjeita?🤗
Kuinka hyvin toimii, jos laittaa tekstityksen päälle ja siihen automaattisen käännöksen?
Could someone please explain to me how to do the decrease because i have tried and its just not working out.thank you
I forgot to add that i am doing a rectangle wrap
Where is the problem, what happens when you try?
The last stitch in decease goes "in" and not even.
Can't wait to this for my daughter. I've got 7 oz/294 yd of Lion Brand 'landscapes ' yarn. Would that be enough for a shawl?
You could make a mini shawl with that amount. For an average size in Aran weight like that yarn is, you would need around 900 yards. But the great thing with this is that since you start at the tip of the triangle, you can finish any time, or decide to get more yarn if it isn't big enough. Good luck!
@@TuulaMaaria thank you very much! It is so beautiful. Actually I love just about everything your talent & creativoty come up with.
I am trying to find you on facebook under crochet-crochet but nothing comes up. would you please post the whole name ? I would love to follow you on fb. thank you
