Have you thought about piping it into your amall like frosting? You would probably save time and be ALOT less messy as well. Just a thought. Thank you for your video I really enjoyed it.

Jessika Urena I think hundreds of people have given me this advice. But, I cannot pipe the whipped body butters with the amount I made. I make too many and my batches don’t fit even in my largest piping bags. Plus when the bag is empty and needs refill, it makes the worst sticky buttery mess ever! Then cleaning the bag multiple times can clog the sink because these are solid butters.

Makes total sense. Thanks for taking the time to to explain, appreciate it.

Wonderful to see the process from beginning explanation of ingredients, master batch, to single whip batch, the color, scent and starch added, to preparation of jars, filling jars, filling, labeling, sealing the lids. I have made a similar body butter with shea and can't imagine not using it because it is so healing. What I realized in watching is how much love and attention is put into the products that no mass commercial production can provide for additional quality. Great job and you do a wonderful job with editing your video's and adding music. Very enjoyable to watch! Thank you.

90% of your hard oils/butters can be shea. Any of the oils and butters I used can be substituted with an other equivalent oil/butter. Also take in consideration the weather where you live! I live in a cold winter and cool summer zone. So I can incorporate more liquid oils than someone in South America, for example! Coconut oil will melt at room temp in summer!

@@GboladeGold There's information on the internet about different butters and the properties they offer. Some are hard butter, medium, and soft butters. You can customize your butter blend how you like it. Also, oils have different properties also. Study the differences and experiment. I am about to do the same thing. Over several months I have acquired many different butters and oils. And I have been getting my equipment together. Now it's time for me to start experimenting in small batches. When creating try to measure your ingredients so if you make something that you really like then you can calculate how much of each ingredient you will need to make a larger batch. Hope this helps.

I use shea, coconut, olive cocoa butter, and sweet almond oil in the recipe I use. I also add 1 measure of cornstarch to it when melted to combat the greasy feel. I chill to almost solid and then beat with a hand mixer and beat at the highest speed. I add the fragrance oils when putting it into the jars. I stir it in with a sterilized bamboo stick. Every one I have given it to loves it .

I agree with the piping bags, it's messy and refilling is frustrating. It does finish pretty. I dump it into 1 gallon ziploc bags and snip one of the lower corners to squeeze into the jars. It doesn't have the finish of the piping doodad, but it smooths out when I'm tamping it down and it's much less wiping for me. I have been using hot water in the sink with dawn and washing my equipment in the dishwasher. I noticed in a previous comment you advise against this. What do you do to save your plumbing from the butters and oil? Love your channel Ariane! Thank you for sharing = )

So I've tried both piping and spooning and spooning it in works the best with less mess. I use a totally different formula though I like mine a bit stiffer and denser I use bees wax at 5-15% concentrations. Maybe I'll try jojoba, it a wax. I can offer a vegan version. Mine is very fluffy and creamy but I get 99.9 grams 3.5 ounces. Very similar jars they fill 4oz by volume .

Do need to study chemistry to learn and create my own soaps, bath bombs and candles? What did you study to create your own formulas? By the way, I love the way you explain with simplicity and peace the hows to. Do you offer private classes? zoom classes? have books teaching how to create formulas? Great shops! thanks for sharing.

the color powder you used, do you know what that is or what it's made from, or maybe the main base? Just trying to find natural colors and wondering if those colors that are in powder form are plant-based?

If you want natural you can use beet root powder instead

I made my own version of whipped body butter today and I love it but I can't seem to get the lumps out from my mango butter and mine is so greasy even with tapicoa powder. Yours looks wonderful!

Ashley Walden I took me a few trial and error to achieve the texture I wanted to have. Keep trying, that is the way to go. :-)

If your shea butter is unrefined and has it's natural scent, do you hide the smell with the fragrance oils? I know it smells rather...strong when unrefined

I have a read the comments but I was curious as to whether or not you've ever considered putting your which body butter into an icing bag that way you could fill up more jars more quickly with less mess.
