- This is one of the many epic scenes from Korfu. If you haven't been there, you really should try to get there while playing this game. It's amazing.
He went there together with his crew on The Adrestia. That includes Herodotos and Barnabas too!
Where to find Korfu Island Quests:
The first thing you need to do is travel to Kephallonia. When you're there, head to the port of Sami. As soon as you arrive, you should find the Cruise Barker waiting by the sea. Speak to her and she'll offer to take you to Korfu and ask if you're ready to set sail or not. Look for a purple quest on Kephallonia on your map. I think you'll only need to complete chapter 1 of the main game to unlock it.
- You will get engravings to put on your weapons. Such as +100% damage but - 100% all resistances. There is a way to flip the coin on this and make you get your health back to 100%.
Herodotos:
Herodotus was born in 484 BC. He was a Greek historian and geographer from the Greek city of Halicarnassus, part of the Persian Empire (now Bodrum, Turkey) and a later citizen of Thurii in modern Calabria (Italy). He is known for having written histories about things like the Greco-Persian Wars. Herodotus was the first writer to perform systematic investigation of historical events. He is referred to as "The Father of History", a title conferred on him by the ancient Roman orator Cicero.
The histories primarily cover the lives of prominent kings and famous battles such as Marathon, Thermopylae, Artemisium, Salamis, Plataea, and Mycale. His work deviates from the main topics to provide a cultural, ethnographical, geographical, and historiographical background that forms an essential part of the narrative and provides readers with a wellspring of additional information.
Herodotus has been criticized for his inclusion of "legends and fanciful accounts" in his work. The contemporaneous historian Thucydides accused him of making up stories for entertainment. However, Herodotus explained that he reported what he could see and was told. A sizable portion of the Histories has since been confirmed by modern historians and archaeologists.
Barnabas:
Barnabas was born in an olive grove on the island of Mykonos. He and his brothers later joined the Athenian army, serving as captains in the Athenian navy.
At some point, Barnabas met Leda, a native of the Greek island of Ithaka, and they fell in love, eventually marrying. They also sailed together regularly. They had a child which also is called Leda.
One night during a siege, Barnabas' fleet was destroyed during a storm. During the same incident, Barnabas claimed to have come face to face with Poseidon's "murderous pet", and lost his eye to it. As their ship was wrecked, Leda roped together the remains and together she and Barnabas paddled to a shore.
However, the two were separated. Later, Barnabas left the navy, and became a sailor in his own right, eventually rising to be the captain of his own ship, the Adrestia.
My experience with AC Odyssey:
I have been playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey since 2020 or so and it is still not boring. Had some breaks here and there but the game simply drags me back! The open world and the eternal quests keeps me going. I have been starting New Game+ countless times. I have also done Legacy Of The First Blade and The Faith Of Atlantis. I love them! If you haven't tried them out, you should. My favorite place is Elysium. Torment of Hades is also very cool! (Chapter 2 of Atlantis DLC). You can kill Cerberus there. In chapter 3 (Judgement of Atlantis), you get to face another monster. That one is insane. It's called Hekatonchires.
Heard about this new Assassin's Creed game comming out in 2023! Assassin's Creed Mirage. It would be kind of nice if this game was a bit more like the old assassin's creed games.
I really want to download and play Assassin's Creed Valhalla too but I'm just not done with AC Odyssey, so what's the point? I will download it tho, eventually. I've seen that Kassandra from AC Odyssey appears in AC Valhalla in an epic battle with Eivor (Eivør). That's pretty cool.
If you want to learn a lot about this game, you should mainly watch 2 UA-camrs: JorRaptor and T7PDM. They upload a lot of good videos of Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

What is that armor kinda cool
The armor that is visuable, is not the one that im using. Actually, I am using a different one than the one shown on screen. Means that I’m using the appearence of armor that I like on a totally different armor set! (Called cosmetic override). On Xbox, all you have to do is hover over the armor that you are using and click X. Then you can use the appearance of all your previous armors on which armor you like.
As headgear im using shroud. The black one that covers all the face except the eyes.
On the arms im using Arena Fighter’s Gauntles
On the torso im using Master’s Artemis Outfit
On the legs im using Father Time
On the feet, im using Pit Fighter’s Boots
The bow is called Hades Bow.
Looks like something Kratos would wear

Just search on UA-cam: Assassin's Creed Odyssey How to Change Gear Appearance. Then it will bring you to some guy called LaffinBoy’s Games. He shows this for PlayStation.
EDIT: I just learned that you have to continue playing if that option I shared above this comment doesn’t show up for you yet. As you progress the game, the ability to change appearence will be unlocked😃

True. But it was supposed to be goodbye for Alexios. Remember? He gave the spear to Herodotos and went to Egypt. Everything get’s restored after Korfu, you’re right about that! Korfu was supposed to be a jump in time. A jump to the last days of their friendship. Which is why we see Kassandra in AC Valhalla in the last scene of Korfu. Because that is what comes next (after Korfu, when looking at the timeline). Immortal, you know.

No need to regret it tbh. The whole Korfu part is something I would call an alternative outcome, a travel in time which doesn’t look like the real end of the game at all. At least not to me.
🔥 *But the game doesn’t ever have to end bro! Once you have done what you can for your family, you will find New Game+ in the game options. Click that and you will restart the game. You will keep your weapons and level when you do this. Only thing that will be removed is previous completed in-game missions and the lieutenants for your ship. The option to enter New Game+ will always be there AFTER you have done what you can for the family. So you can explore your current saved game for as long as you want bro. But you will most likely discover so much more about the game if you choose to click on New Game + when the game allows you to do so.* 🔥
(Back to Korfu).
Once you complete the Korfu part, you will be sent back to your time. That’s how the spear will be ok again. You will end up next to the woman who took you to Korfu (in Kephallonia). The ending of Korfu doesn’t really matter too much. It doesn’t spoil as much as you might think. U don’t need to worry bro.
Just one quick tip. Don’t skip any missions when you are at Korfu. Complete the missions from Barnabas as soon as possible when you get them. I say this because I have noticed that some missions are hard to do correctly if you try to skip something just to reach the end of Korfu! Find the missing notes in the treasure hunt from Barnabas! (Sorry for tiny spoiler)
Try a UA-cam guide when doing Korfu. There are hidden perks on the Island that doesn’t necessarily get uncovered during the missions! Once you understand how/what deals good damage, you be happy. For example you can find the perk; + 100% all damage types but - 100% all resistances. Again, no worries because you can reverse this health cap back to normal when you find good armor etc.

I have given answers the best way I can about Korfu but T7PDM is the nerd of damage. If you want to know something that isn’t shown in the video link, just ask him in the comments. Either on the video I linked or in his newest videos. That’s a good way to make contact with him if you have questions about this DLC😜 Don’t care too much about the graphs in the video. Now you know not to help Phoibe’s friend😅 I could tell you the name of the last quest you need to do before New Game+ appears in options for you. (I’m 99,9% sure I remember it right). But the name of the quest could spoil something for you. I could still share if you like.
