Phoibé’s death always gets me crying; you grow to love her and she gets ripped away from you. I was happy that she returned in the DLC but was bittersweet... her lost memories and when asking about herself, Alexios/Kassandra would talk so highly and so proudly of her that I cried too.... that whole character pulls at my heart strings.

They missed a great opportunity with the last ending. It could have ended with Barnabas, Herodotos and some other crew members, maybe even Sokrates and Alkibiades, joining for dinner as their new family. They didn't focus as hard on building your crew, but there were elements of it in the game, and it feels like it's part of the character's Odyssey. Would have made for a good ending.
They missed great opportunity with ending nr. 10, when everyone died and Alexios/kassandra chose to jump from the hill, with dinner from the afterworld.... typical ubisoft >

It is important to note that even the Mighty Athena had her limits and usually preferred peaceful solutions to rage and violence. However, Ares is certainly deserving of her wrath.

I got the ending where Alexios kills Kassandra and I really loved that. I constructed all my Alexios story to try to save Kassandra, but after Phoebe, Pericles and Brasidas death make him realize that her sister was gone and she was only Deimos. Also all the other members of the family were alive so I think it was the best ending for the story that I experienced.
4:05 everything from here until the dinner of this ending was so emotionally loaded. I really felt it and kinda teared up a bit. It just seemed really tender and they did a great job on Kassandra's facial animations, they looked so real and like actually emotions.
No, you had to choose correctlly the dialogue in the prison I think it's talking about the cult isntead of the family. If I didn't know the opcion of come back at some part of the game, I would get the ending with only Nikolaus and Stentor

@@neelashishbanerjee3379 There are options that will negatively affect Alexios relationship with Kassandra such as: Pushing her when you meet her after opening the temple Not helping her after the flaming tree falls on her, and saying she deserved that Then there's the dialog options while Alexios is in the jail cell, im not sure what helps or hurts the relationship tho Shortly after, Kleon will make a demand to Kassandra to do something (but i forgot what). If Kassandra complies without complaint, she's basically a lost cause. If Kassandra threatens Kleon, you've maintained a good relationship with her and she can be saved. Note: doing all the negative options listed above will cause the former action to happen.

He has literally no ties to them and would only be there if his Dad was too, so if you want Stentor there then Nikolaos should too.
I liked Brasidas too but i followed all the quest that Myrine gave me in Arkadia so our relationship with Brasidas wasnt that good both in the main game and in the dlc in Hades.I actually managed to get home everyone alive first try without knowing you could that.But yeah rip Brasidas.He was a badass in real life too a true Spartan commander

It's definetly the best one, also because of the previous events that caused it. More dramatic, more impactful. The good endings were dull and forgettable.

We know from the storyline that Alexios/Kassandra (whoever you play as good) does end up alone tho, guarding the staff of Hermes and protecting Atlantis. That's why so many people whine about this game "not being AC". Because the main character isn't an Assassin and doesn't become one. This game's story is about the artifacts, the bloodline (the Isu) and the Templars (originally, Cult of Kosmos), buuuut people just can't handle the idea of not having a fancy blade in an AC game or something. That being said, yes, I believe it's the most logical option, I mean otherwise it means he's seen his whole family die of old age so idk what's better.

I'll be honest... Kassandra's VA is much better for the whole "unstable villain" effect. Alexios's VA is more for a calculative villain role. Deimos Kassandra still gives me PTSD lol
I've heard people say the exact opposite, but I agree with you, her Deimos seems like an absolute psychopath. The only thing I don't like about her as Deimos is that she doesn't seem even remotely salvageable. In the "nice" ending, I don't know how anyone could be comfortable with this mass murdering lunatic, clearly feigning calm, sitting at the table with them.

Not to mention savagely rips Phidias apart as well. She caused a lot of pain to everyone and Alexios personally as well, even Layla was mentally fucked just by revisiting her memories lol they should've made it better.

I can’t imagine being the actors during all this.... what a challenging few weeks these must have been. I cried at the mountain scene when Demios finally has her epiphany and returns to the family.... And then to watch everything else that COULD... nice ending options. Lighting is different the less people there are, making it more sad. I do love the final final one with Ikaros. In case you chose to stand up for yourself in every option more or less, you still got your bird who’s been the real MVP lets be honest.
What I hate about your comment is that you're correct, except it's Kassandra as the Eagle Bearer. In Valhalla, outside the Animus, Layla has an email that describes that she couldn't get through to Alexios and he killed Myrinne. Prior to that in a fit of rage Kassandra killed her stepdad and her adopted brother in self defense. How her biodad died in Atlantis though has never been implied, whether he gave up the staff willingly or it was forcibly taken from him.
You are right, if we think about it many assassins dont have a happy ending like Arno, at the end he was alone, and also Edward, all his frienfds and wife were dead, he only had his daughter

I have to say that the change in emotions seems to be more natural with Kassandra when she plays as the villain in the first ending... Alexios’ getting back to the family member just seemed a bit too abrupt to me. I guess he is better at playing the angry scenes
I honestly like 7:00. It wasn’t all that awkward, nor was it bittersweet or depressing, as nobody was going to miss stentor, and the fact that Nikolas wanted to bond with Deimos with the sibling responding it sounds like fun, was quite nice
the last ending in which both died is so good in its own way it bring the tears out of your eyes and your ypu heart gets a strange feeling which feels like u are both comfortable and scared at the same moment when alexios comes out of the room he just sees ikaros which signifies it was the only family he had his loyal eagle ........ that wad the perfect one

Phiboe can be, theres a mission where you hunt down king leonidas and you have two choices, kill him and bring back phieobe or the other spartan. Or kill someone who is a greater threat to the persheponie but the deal is withdrawn.

I got the one where everyone were alive apart from Stentor. My intention wasn't really to kill Stentor, but he attacked me so I had to. But I'm happy with it, I dont really like Stentor

Specifically the last ending with encouraging last words full of love from Myrene, and the ending with only one parent alive seems to be the most realistic even on what each Mater and pater say. The ending with everyone alive is too odd haha
I managed to keep all except Stentor in my first save.. I didn't know that Nikolaos is important to keep Stentor. When he fought me there's no one jn the way and I ended killing stentor. Poor guy just want a dad figure. In my new game (+), I managed to save them all. It was really a comforting sight. Especially coz I played as Kassandra, Deimos x Stentor looks really good I put Alexios as my lieuteunant to call everytime I fight crowd and it felt so good having your lil bro helping you with a demigod power lol
Due to earlier dialogue choices I kept having to fight Deimos until I said screw it and reloaded a save before that big battle down by Messara and did things right.
Notice how she doesn't get a chance to touch the spear in the bad ending after 14:45 before killing the mother? It takes the power of the spear to truly heal her and take away or the hate the cult infused her with.
I'm glad I was able to make decisions that put my Kassandra's family first (even though I made some bad choices that made my handling of the cultist spartan king a bit messy). Still, it was nice to have all 5 of them at the dinner table and aboard the Adrestia after. A simple act of mercy can do wonders :)
There was a huge campaign by gaming journalists and Ubisoft-supported influencers to favor Kassandra. Alexios had the official marketing, but Kassandra had gaming websites with articles titled "choosing Alexios is the wrong way to play". In the end, neither Alexios is as bad as people say nor Kassandra is as great as people think... They're fairly evenly matched and have their strong and weak points.

@@quintus920 I don't get the nice ending either, because it just wouldn't make any sense, Deimos kills Brasidas, a good friend of Alexios, in a brutal manner in front of him and indirectly kills Phoibe. Not to mention savagely rips Phidias apart as well. She caused a lot of pain to everyone and Alexios personally as well, even Layla was mentally fucked just by revisiting her memories lol they should've made it better.

I can’t imagine being the actors during all this.... what a challenging few weeks these must have been. I cried at the mountain scene when Demios finally has her epiphany and returns to the family....
And then to watch everything else that COULD... nice ending options. Lighting is different the less people there are, making it more sad. I do love the final final one with Ikaros. In case you chose to stand up for yourself in every option more or less, you still got your bird who’s been the real MVP lets be honest.

What I hate about your comment is that you're correct, except it's Kassandra as the Eagle Bearer. In Valhalla, outside the Animus, Layla has an email that describes that she couldn't get through to Alexios and he killed Myrinne. Prior to that in a fit of rage Kassandra killed her stepdad and her adopted brother in self defense. How her biodad died in Atlantis though has never been implied, whether he gave up the staff willingly or it was forcibly taken from him.

I have to say that the change in emotions seems to be more natural with Kassandra when she plays as the villain in the first ending... Alexios’ getting back to the family member just seemed a bit too abrupt to me. I guess he is better at playing the angry scenes

I honestly like 7:00. It wasn’t all that awkward, nor was it bittersweet or depressing, as nobody was going to miss stentor, and the fact that Nikolas wanted to bond with Deimos with the sibling responding it sounds like fun, was quite nice

Phiboe can be, theres a mission where you hunt down king leonidas and you have two choices, kill him and bring back phieobe or the other spartan. Or kill someone who is a greater threat to the persheponie but the deal is withdrawn.

Specifically the last ending with encouraging last words full of love from Myrene, and the ending with only one parent alive seems to be the most realistic even on what each Mater and pater say. The ending with everyone alive is too odd haha
I like the two endings with only mother alive and all family dead. They are emotional with no cringe scene at the table

I managed to keep all except Stentor in my first save.. I didn't know that Nikolaos is important to keep Stentor. When he fought me there's no one jn the way and I ended killing stentor. Poor guy just want a dad figure. In my new game (+), I managed to save them all. It was really a comforting sight. Especially coz I played as Kassandra, Deimos x Stentor looks really good

I played with both Alexios and Kassandra, and it's totally clear the game was originally created to be played as Kassandra and have Alexios as Deimos.

Due to earlier dialogue choices I kept having to fight Deimos until I said screw it and reloaded a save before that big battle down by Messara and did things right.
Notice how she doesn't get a chance to touch the spear in the bad ending after 14:45 before killing the mother?
It takes the power of the spear to truly heal her and take away or the hate the cult infused her with.
I had all of them by the dinner table, including Stentor :D Best ending.
I'm glad I was able to make decisions that put my Kassandra's family first (even though I made some bad choices that made my handling of the cultist spartan king a bit messy). Still, it was nice to have all 5 of them at the dinner table and aboard the Adrestia after. A simple act of mercy can do wonders :)

I dont know why alexios is so underrated
There was a huge campaign by gaming journalists and Ubisoft-supported influencers to favor Kassandra. Alexios had the official marketing, but Kassandra had gaming websites with articles titled "choosing Alexios is the wrong way to play". In the end, neither Alexios is as bad as people say nor Kassandra is as great as people think... They're fairly evenly matched and have their strong and weak points.

Just finished the game now; whilst I'm glad I didn't mess up badly enough to get the last ending, I only had Stentor and Nikolaos at the table.
I’m happy with the ending I got. Thank god it wasn’t the one where Kassandra kills their mom... man I would’ve cried if everything I’ve done in this game led to this... thank god. I got the ending where everyone is at the dinner table but Kassandra (I could not forgive Brasidas’s death, just nope)
