      What's hilarious is that right after this joke the camera cuts to Richard Kind laughing in the audience, who was on the show Spin City with Michael J. Fox, and then later Charlie Sheen after he took over from Michael J. Fox after Fox left due to his Parkinson's.

    Jeselnik is all about timing. He tells his Jokes so slowly, but that's where the effect is. Some of these would still be funny on paper, but my god, the delivery is what makes him so good!

    Mike Tyson's facial expressions seem to go back n forth between being amused and ready to kick Anthony's ass. Its like he would smile, then the smile would fade and he looked pissed, then smile again, fade... might just be me.

    His delivery can make the simplest punchline seem golden. Like: "I'm still looking for my ex girlfriends killer, but I can't find anyone to do it". Reading it it's just "meh", but to hear his voice say it was funny as hell.

    Jeselnik was smart. He decided to create a comedy persona that he could leave on stage, where virtually no one would expect him to be that way in real life.

      I know how they work and I didn't say they shouldn't roast one another. I said they spend MORE time roasting people than the person they're supposed to be roasting. I don't mind them going through every guest and roasting them. But they spend most of the time on that part and less time on the person the show is dedicated to.

    3:39 = the Pryor album name drop that only Patrice got followed by the "too few Black people" joke that got Patrice to do the "well played" clap is still my favorite moment on this roast. Out of all the comedians on stage, I think Patrice respected Jeselnik the most.

    I love the respect that Patrice O'Neal shows for a well crafted joke. I think Patrice and Amy are the only ones who got the "Richard Pryor" joke, on the whole dais. Is it a racist joke? Absolutely. But let's not forget the most important word, there. Joke. Well done, Anthony. The world needs all the smart comics that it can get. And RIP Patrice.       PianomanMNL Yeah, it's not live so you have to be wary of reaction shots that don't get the whole dais or don't include the audio of the punchline. Frequently after something particularly racist they'll immediately cut to a black guy in the audience laughing at a different joke.

      JuventusFC05 my memory is a little spotty but he isn't ever going to be on Comedy Central anymore. He had a TV show on the network but after the Boston Marathon bombing, he tweeted a really offensive joke (as is his style). The president of Comedy Central is from Boston and told him to take it down. When Jeselnik refused, he was banned from Comedy Central.

      +Shaun Rodgers If you watched his standup special he said his biggest regret was actually having to delete that tweet because of the # of people whose jobs would of been lost with the shows cancellation just because he had a "sweet tweet." It was eventually cancelled because of the low ratings and I'm guessing his relationship with cc is strained.

      Sucks to not see him on roasts but personally the roasts are hacky as fuck just putting celebs and promoting their new projects and "redeming" them thru these faux roasts. Roasts were to celebrate. And roasts were usually done by comedians. Anyways. Im glad he has specials up on netflix. Id rather watch an hour of good content from 1 comedian than 1 or two good sets and a bunch of actors read from a prompter for far too long

    Probably the best roast by comedy central. Everyone killed hard (except Shoemer) and by default, having Patrice on just elevates things.
    Jeselnik delivery is one of the best. Dark, demented and hillarious. That deep fried finger joke was so stupid and good and it's not even his best joke here.
