The discussion here about comedians vs. humorists vs. whaddevah Colbert is, I, for one, found hilarious! And I so appreciate the banter alongside the analyses of the papers.
👍👍👍👍👍Of course I LOVE this episode!❤❤❤❤❤My favorite guest host Amy!!! They're eating hedgehogs now? 😨We need to resurrect the Vertical Farm!! More Rooftop gardens!! There should be gov't funds for this?Imagine all the gardenswe could have? How beautiful!😊❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰
Amy is so much more comfortable as time as gone on and is a natural and unique podcast personality. I recently read a Medscape teaching article on RSV. Thanks to TWIV for inspiring my interest.
I listen to this a few days ago but I really wanted to leave a comment that I enjoyed the discussion, and I envy Dixon for all his travels. Thank you..

1:20:44 I wonder if the shipwreck controversy Amy is thinking of is Captain Cook's Endeavour (sold & renamed Lord Sandwich), believed scuttled off Rhode Island in 1778, by British forces during the American War of Independence. Debate going on between Australian researchers and Rhode Island researchers as to whether enough evidence has been gathered to declare a specific shipwreck as the Endeavour.
Any body know why monkeys have escaped the attention of the authors "Total virome characterizations of game animals in China reveals a spectrum of emerging viral pathogens". These animals are widely used in medicine and cuisine in Asia
What is Amy talking about re: Alexander the great? He was never near Russia. Russia as a concept didn't even exist until more than a thousand years after he was dead. And I'm not aware of him ever having to deal with hash winters in his conquests.
Sociopaths and psychopaths don't care what other people think. The rest of us aren't like that and we have a really difficult time getting our head around that. Even if a paper isn't smart or good science, if it's controversial and bad science there could be merit in showing the rest of us why it's bad science and poor theory.

Shakelton'"s (including the crew) story of survival is a must read. It's completely insane that no one died

Amy is so right!
I remember as a little girl my mother would go to the live market and pick out a life chicken for dinner!
Dickson's light seems too close. His face is partly whited out.
Johnny Carson was THE one and only! Colbert IS the joke. And Dangerfield was just nauseating. No hate please as I am a product of the 60"s lol
The Shroom is a mystery mycologist, yet to be elevated to the TWIX team. 👤Who will it turn out to be? 👤When will the Shroom first appear? 🍄🤔

Thankfully not a history podcast. 😉
It’s Ukraine. There is no “the.”
