My dad flipped one of those, the whole bike flipped up and around and the luggage rack bent around his abdomen. The force of the impact mushed his guts. He actually died in the helicopter on the way to the hospital but was revived. They put him on the operating table and patched things back up as best they could. Decades of problems but he’s still alive and ticking today
Kevin is the only person who gets free reign of an entire piece of land full of vehicles and still finds vehicles outside of that area to buy and tinker on 😂
Looks like this could have been filmed here in Maine. Fall in the north is something everyone should experience. The cris air and the smell of the trees and leaves. The colors are incredible.

Im out here in New Zealand and had a early Honda ATC 200B?. The big red For those who don't know its the one with the big Ohatsu tyre and no front shocks. I remember riding along a nice flat beach in top and hit a hollow spot. The trike went up . I went up. The trike came down . I came down. I bounced up off the seat and the trike carried on without me as i disappeared off the back and bounced . the bruises lasted for a while ouch. LOL Too much pressure in the front tyre was just as bad as too little pressure . There wasn't a sweet spot that I ever discovered but it was a lot of fun. I''m probably lucky that it was on 200cc and not the 250cc two stroke. Nearly every tree in New Zealand is ever green so they dont go those fantastic colours before they turn brown and drop off. I was in Maine in 2015 in November and the colours were fantastic. Awesome vid Kevin
I have an ‘85 SX that after purchasing we took to the Hatfield and Mcoy’s trail system in West Virginia which has hundreds of miles of simple to complex trails. Every single $20k atv/Utv that we saw stopped to check out my Honda and to validate my sanity for bringing it there…lol. Gotta luv those 3 wheelers!
Knew you would get it going without much. Them things are beasts leave em sit forever and they still run. That 4-player split screen camera action was cool man. Definitely some nice woods they got there, eh? We have some pretty nice woods here in Pennsylvania too.
I had a very similar trick to clean the jets on an 82 Kawasaki I revived last year! Tool truck guy sold me a set of teeny tiny drill bits with a hand driver that was designed to clean torch tips. Went from plugged solid to running great in a couple hours!
Thanks for the trip down memory lane! My brothers and I wheeled almost the exact setup. 78 C10 long bed with a Honda Big Red, 250 sx and a Suzuki (50 cc?) dirt bike that was later swapped out for Polaris Scrambler 3 wheeler, requiring us to use a trailer or a second truck. Back when gov. ground was free to ride and no numbers required. Many summers of fun in Indiana! Awesome that the 250 sx still has brakes. Ours did until they didn't and we never fixed them. First gear on the downhills was enough. Great video!
@27:07 this is literally why trikes were banned, the front wheel turned which forced you over the handlebars to the left. Worst case where people get killed is the trike follows you over and lands on you. Same thing almost happened to my brother, he had (un)fortunately a similar issue a couple years before where he ended up with a broken collarbone so was ready for the squirrelyness of it. Although you may be right that there is a magic spot where it is more stable on smaller tires and once you get a certain size all bets are off
I love stuff like this, bikes/atvs/acts, and square body chevys are my favorite things. You inspired me to buy an old truck again. Saturday I'm looking at an 88 c30
Love the old Honda 250sx and the work that was done to it!! Really like the informational tech that came with this video!! Also, just bought my first ever piece of tech from Raycon, their Everyday Headphones. Hoping to love these just as much as the old Turtle Beach ones I had for 10 years. Keep rocking and rolling and driving the old C1oohh sir!!
You grabbing that bristle-brush reminds me of the last time I had to clean out the carb for my lawn mower. I learned that the main jet's diameter is exactly two strands of 14-ga stranded wire. It has a sticky needle and seat now, but all I have to do is whack the carb with a wrench whenever it sticks (usually closed) and it'll be fine again.
If you ever need help fixing a three wheeler, my dads got you covered. He has like 12 in his small back yard that he fixes then sells, so if your ever in Canada BC, you should definitely stop by
Thank you for the best ATC footage the internet has seen in a long time! I haev over 30 Honda ATCs and have done almost exactly what you did with nearly all of them; buy them beat for cheap and fix them up to former glory. I have nearly every ATC Honda ever made and the 250sx is a true pleasure to ride. My 250r's and 350x;s are great, don't get me wrong, but the 250sx is just easy to start, predictable and has a lot of realiable grunt! Awesome video, and fantastic rescue of that old Honda!
Kevin that means we have been watching you for 6 yrs. That first will it run on the old blue no windshield ford, with thunderhead was so awesome. Iv been hooked ever since.
Ya know Kevin, I'm surprised you haven't extended your searches to tow behind campers that you could load up with a variety of tools like a mini workshop you could take with ya on long distance revivals!! I know you've got your Teng tools bed tool box, but you could totally load that yow behind with the stuff that CAN'T fit in there!! Ultrasonic cleaner, a variety of oils & cleaning supplies, mount some solar panels on the roof with some battery banks inside AND, if you're out in the middle of nowhere, you could SLEEP in there TOO!!😉🥃
I just got done with a 350x about an hour and a half north of Bemidji. It got a hot cam, titanium valve springs, high comp weisco piston, and a manual timing chain tensioner. Rips real good now. It'll slap you backwards on the dirt in 6th.
Growing up on a 1983 250R (mainly) and a few Suzuki and Yamaha ones, the one thing I did not like about the 250SX was the poor rear suspension travel. I did think that the reverse option was pretty neat though. I gottta admit though, the first time I rode a 200 Fat Cat on the streets was a thrill! It brought body language to a whole 'nother level!
This video brings back so many memories for me! The three wheeler though I had the x version with the clutch, to my introduction to dirt bikes which was a Kdx. I had to ride my uncles three wheelers and then when I could finally make money get my own. I loved it so much and the exact machines you guys are riding are the same I learned and loved. As I’m sure many others, they don’t build em like they used to
Kevin this was a fun video seeing you guys having fun on three wheelers. I always look forward to watching your videos. I hope you had a safe trip home.
You can take the paper/plastic coating off a bread tie, and that fine wire works really well for cleaning small holes on carbs. Honestly done it more than a few times with lawn mower carbs.
Yes Sir! You have discovered why Northern Minnesota is my all time favorite riding area! Love the videos as always buddy and eagerly awaiting my C-1Ohhhhh shirt! Rock on!

Really cool content Kevin kinda scary when you use carb cleaner or brake cleaner to fire for the first time. I use a little bit of 2 stroke mixed with gas to help lube things up. I know. It smokes a little bit but first time I tried brake cleaner messed up rings, really bad.

When saying goodbye to Bob, did it take at least ten minutes with the 'Minnesota goodbye'? Over here in the UK, we have certain areas where a farewell can last a while, usually in the west country or the North, in a pub. What starts as......'This will be my last pint, best get home' turns into 'Oh, one more for the road, this is my last'. After two hours and another five pints, you're still no closer to leaving.
I have a 200es I love had it over 13 years only rolled it once. Use it daily. The front suspension is bad on it , ruff on the kidneys. It has the big tires 25x12x9
my brother had a 350x that ran and drove but had a plethora of problems IE; valves not adjusted right, no brakes, no clutch, bad tires, sloppy chain. mostly things that would be easily rectified. Unfortunately, it was sold way back but was a ton of fun to ride

Omg! You have to get the red beetle running! ❤🐞 Please, please, please! Big bug hugs from Texas! ❤
Stunning scenery in northern Minnesota, my kind of place. I've never been to that part of the US but would love to visit some day.
It gets seriously cold in the winter. Had to do some deliveries up there and dealt with Temps in the -20 range. 😮😮😂
