That's a great collection of things they don't told us but pls tell us how to learn these skills then
One of the Rockaflers bought influence to the education board to steer all students away from wealth building learning on purpose 1How to build a business/corporation. 2) Precious metals Gold/Silver 3)Stocks 4) Real Estate 🏡
Not popular to say but the decline in value of a degree started with the GI Bill ( there are other factors now ). Just simply the more common something is the less valuable ( gold scarce and valuable vs. dirt common and free ).
What actually the idea behind this bitcoin investment,I have been watching some videos and I was thinking about investing in bitcoin , but still don't know where to start from
Same here ,It's strange how people talk about all the profits, they've been making through investing in bitcoin, while am here not making any profit at all. Please can Someone put me through on the right path.
@@julianmiguel2429 Most time having knowledge or insight about a particular activity can as well be a pleasing exercise. I can boldly say that bitcoin investment is one of the profitable money exchange services that elevates investors and their financial status.
@@melynjean3701 That's true most people today have been having a lot of failures in bitcoin because of poor orientation or bad experts
@@julianmiguel2429 Bitcoin investment (fx) can be profitable and lucrative when it is approached as a business, but achieving a level of success is extremely difficult and can take a long time. It's a good idea to fine an expert of this form of investment prior to getting started with. As you can see, the market is open and operates 24 hours a day and almost seven days a week
@@julianmiguel2429 As a newbie I'll advise you trade under the guidance of an expert so as to reduce chance of lose till you get a working strategy for yourself
When your ADHD, didn’t do the homework, but passed the tests…thought you were a loser until youtube taught you how genius you really are! Thanks Alux!!
Personal finance & wealth creation should be mandatory in every high school.
How to build power of will and discipline. What school teaches is obedience, not these two. When the autority disapears, you have no obligation to do anything and that's where you need power of will and discipline to get things done. I've never learned anything like that, so now I'm 22 and trying to figure it out (Alux helping massively).
Good content by the way
but I think you miss some points
1- People skills: Emotional intelligence/ compassion/ behaviour psychology / acceptance of all the differences (not only the racial ethnical religious... I see growing man fight for trivial stuff really trivial stuff)
2 - How money works: Personal finance / Finance / Economics ... at least basic stuff
3- I wish I learn about what I call "Personal health intelligence": what to eat/ how to eat / how it affets your body / how to exercise properly to avoid injuries / how to have a good quality sleep
At 76 years young I learned what I wish I had known in high school and college! I am passing this video on to the prep school I did attend that was military before my last two years. Today Bolles School is one of the five best prep schools in the USA. We have students from 32 countries attending.
the paradox of my relationship with ALUX is that I stopped liking every video the ALUX team made because I get smarter and more demanding by learning and following ALUX's advice.
Thank you ALUX, I appreciate you too much
How to eat/cook and how to relax/destress will be important as well. Most people won't have a daily exercise routine but by knowing how food affects your health will be helpful. Same with knowing how to tune out the craziness in life to relax and sleep better.
The legal system: Basic local and foreign laws. Even adults are not well educated about the law and that impacts the children. This is fundamentally underrated and needs to be taught
Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

I was waiting for exact same content. It's my high request please bring such more videos special for "students" who are unaware of real world or learn this lesson too late in life.
Amazing! I I literally have an 8th grade education, but I already see that watching these videos for the last 2 year has given me a better education than most people that went to college and received master degrees! 🤔
To give you an example, my wife has two Master degrees in counseling and always thought she was better than me for having the education (been out of work for the last 2 years by the way).
I, on the other hand, am working on my third LLC and make more weekly than she brought in every month!
Thanks to ALUX, my silent revenge is sweet!
👌😚🇺🇲
if she thinks she is better than you,why are you with her? Plus she has no reason to work, you are bringing in the money!
Life lessons : if there’s a will, there’s a way. The more you learn, the more you earn. Harmony in relationship over winning an argument. Improvisation. Resourcefulness. Don’t take anything for granted, it can be taken away, as fast as it came.
#9 is in my opinion the key for a lot of problems in society, study to work for money that you have no ideal how to deal with. Credit and a lot of stuff that are crucial in life and we beardly know about it.
A quick note on Number 6 (How to quit). Although it's important to know when it's time to quit and change course, if you find yourself constantly quitting or starting over then it means your tolerance for challenges is weak. Quitting should only be a last resort after MANY moons of trial and error....

The number one skill that is not taught in any school that I went to or know of is critical thinking.
The process of critical thought consists of actively conceptualizing, applying, analyzing both the present and - future - benefits or consequences of what you are thinking about, then synthesizing/evaluating the information gathered from all sources, observation and experiences and using it as a guide to a belief or action to attain the desired result.
This is what is needed to achieve anything in life. Truly successful people do this in all aspects of life - not just in finance/business. Without critical thinking, much of the success people have will be basically just luck.
The problem is that to get critical thinking a person need to be a good reader (of real books, not comics) and have passion for philosophy, psychology and sociology in order to understand and analyze facts or situations properly.
However, nowadays new generations don't like to read and only whine and complain about the education systems.
They think everything has to be taught by schools or universities.
It seems like most of them cannot learn new things by themselves.
New generations are hipocrites, they criticize current education systems, but they don't want to spend much hours reading books or making researchs.
They like only briefs or summaries of everything to have more hours to spend doing nothing relevant for themselves or for the society.
You'll never be a critical thinker without reading a good amount of books.
I did learn about critical thinking at a South African public school.
@@ramone2720 "hypocrites." Never thought of it that way, but you're right. Well said.
Thks
Gem of a content. Saving it for later use.
However, I feel certain points are missed/not properly covered:-
- human behaviour/psychology
- personal finance
- delayed gratification
- emotional intelligence
How I wish these skills along with the ones mentioned by Alux were taught to everyone from school itself.
This by far is one of your best videos.😎🔥💯
The Skills That Society Truly Demands aren't taught in school
If I could add anything to this, it would be Business/Financial Management. In my opinion, It's a "life-skill". This coinsides w/Teamwork & Building,Negotiations,Time Management and Real Mathematics.
That class is available it's called business & technologies. You'd have to choose the class as it's an elective.
@@CarringtonKelleys Yeah but softskill that he mentioned above (Teamwork & Building,Negotiations) didn't get included in that stuff, also Financial education in School ? what a joke.
@@CarringtonKelleys I thank you kindly f/that information. Why an "elective" when it should start in grade school automatically? That's like taking cursive writing out of schools. What? Lol
Great video Alux! These are the reasons why I'm going to homeschool my children and create a much more dynamic and useful learning experience.
Number 8 and 10 are really important.
The skill I wish I learned in school is how to sell.
Definitely how to set goals. Goal setting gives everyday of your life meaning
Great and Informative Video as always!
The bonus material is amazing and its the one that for me is the hardest to develop!
Most of the information was from the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, And some UA-cam channels to motivate, but thank you, it came at the right time keep going 🤝🏻💪🏻
Thanks for this episode.. We can add another: " How to manage your money?." It is very fundamental but I think nobody give stress on this skill from childhood.
Every single person has a talent, gift. And school does not even teach anything how to discover what that talent, gift is.
Trust the process...keep going and overcome 🌎 Thanks ALUX. Greetings from Colombia. The Venezuelan immigrant writer 🇻🇪
Really like your stuff. I think the reason schools expect people to not collaborate all the time and to do it solo is so they leave school capable so they are useful in a team and not just meld into a group to hang on to the coat tails of their more productive or go getting g colleagues
Thanks for doing another video like this.
I studied in a school that encouraged and rewarded creativity and thinking outside the box which was awesome but still failed to teach alot of things like what is mentioned here … a combination of school knowledge and going out doing s*it , failing , succeding failing some more and learning through it all helped me get to where i am today … it would be naive of me to say school dint make a difference to my life though 🙌
We agree, school does have an impact in your life, especially when you have an "education never stops" mentality
Group projects were always difficult because they never simulate the real world. In the working world group projects usually involve someone doing their area of expertise, then passing it along to the next area. In college all four people would do all the tasks required in a project simultaneously. To date, I've never huddled around a spreadsheet with three other coworkers trying to do one task. Did that a lot in business school though.
Honey. Even bill gates need Paul Allen to built Microsoft. Group projects does simulate the real world.
This channel is really changing how I perceive the world, so many life changing lessons
Of course basic personal finance. And, quite honestly, any PRACTICAL skills whatsoever. Schools teach unquestioning compliance and obedience to authority, based on the 200-plus year old Prussian education system instead of how to take calculated risks, which is one of the secrets to becoming wealthy.
The Slicer lady's voice is just motivating😊
As I learned indirectly from design engineering and cost estimating most of life is not knowing but knowing from where or whom to find the right answers.

This is probloby why those not in the workforce for at least a few years have difficulty with WFH.
So i discovered this channel just by scrolling on UA-cam.
But this is the best thing happened to me,♥️
Glad to have you around! We hope you find some value in our content
Same here
Absolutely I had a physics class but I didn't remember anything though I'm not dumb. Maybe because the way teacher teach is not engaging they pressure students so much.
Alux can you recommend books to learn this things or any way to learn them?
Thank you for mentoring me 💯
A must watch for me
Wish they showed about finances, glad I did learn about establishing credit for it was a plus except I cosigned for someone and it was messed up for some months
Great video Alux! Another item I like to add is: I wish I was tought financial planning and managing your household. I learned it when I was already living on my own through a course and making mistakes.. Thanks and have a nice day.
Thankyou for keeping upgrade us ☕
Kudos to you Alux
A school is an artificial environment, and it can't be otherwise. A school gives you knowledge. The real life teaches you all the rest, such as communication with people, dealing with real, vs. artificial, problems, etc.. Both are needed. Self education is not that effective.
Exactly
NEVER BEEN TO COLLEGE, LEARNT MANY THINGS FOR FREE ON UA-cam!
Yeah, i'm having trouble with #3, i was hoping i could get some good advice from that segment other than....yeah figure it out lol~
can you do a video on security analysis or finding intrinsic value of a stock? appreciate the help Alux.
The education system isn’t outdated for what it was originally intended to do. It’s still fantastic at making corporate drones and hopeless citizens.
A great video,I fully agree with the content
One oddball thing they didn't teach you in college was how to write a college paper. Not even in freshman comp did they teach you this. They just have you practice writing papers without teaching you how.
I had a business communications class once where the instructor had us write a one or two sentence thesis on what our paper would be about. We had no idea what that was but apparently a good way to write a college paper is to make an argument or stance in the opening paragraph. Then support that with the body of the paper. Nobody ever told me that up until that class.
that's weird. I had the opposite experience. I'm a child of the 1970s, but they made us write a college paper, starting in the 6th grade. One a year, every year. The 6th grade teachers gave us all the college guidelines and was slack about the details, but every year, they graded tougher and tougher until about the 10th grade, when they cut no slack at all. By the time i got to college, it was second nature. Still hated it, but it was no great mystery.
Excellent
How to ask help
How to build support groups and how to build a team
Those are the most important lessons that I hope school teaches but I had to learn the hard way from life
Asking for help is a big one
is there anymore out there who wants to set up an Alex community in the UK to discuss the ideas and promote new ways of learning, working and living? I sure folk will have ideas on how this can be done and its goals. I am thinking of the hockey stick and starting small with a group who can chat and share and perhaps build into a kinda interest group to promote new idea such as revamping the education system.
Going to college to do computer science cuz the only way I get an entry level job in web dev is through experience earned from internships 😭
There isn't something fundamentally wrong with going to college, even more so if you manage to do it without locking yourself in life draining student debt.
But remember that your actual skill level will be built outside of college.
@@alux I will have max of 10k like that is even too much my tuition if fully covered by aid so there is that at least
Sorry
Everyone can learn whatever they want from UA-cam these days and we still have to go to school to learn subjects we Don't even like algebra gives me night mairs and our parents scream at us for not being good at those subject's they don't even know how to do in the first place
The number one skill that should be thought in school is to think outside the box.
i respectfully disagree. I work with kids for a living and they ALL think they can think outside the box to get out of working hard.
"Hack," they call it. Life hack this. Math hack that.
Outside the box is for outside the box kids: exceptionally good or exceptionally bad.
The reality is that most people and kids are average. The box is for average. IF you're average, you better master that box before you think outside it, because you're not smart enough to survive outside the box.
They try this with Algebra: they try to hack it, instead of practice. They try to look at a problem and GUESS the answer and try to go for SMART guesses...whatever that means.
I'm a mathlete myself, I can look at a problem, do some shortcuts in my head (because i've mastered the basics) and pretty much do it in my head. THey confuse what **i** do with what **they** do. If you're average...which statistically...most people are....these kids need to get to work.
The more we work on our own selves, the more our circumstances and overall lives change. The more we grow and invest into ourselves, the more we will see a transformation, especially how we better communicate with others. You got this, I believe in you and invest into YOU! Best investment you can ever do is in yourself for your family, others, and your future! 💯% back guarantee return on your investment! Have a great day! 🚀🎉❤️
Amazing content
All of these things are learned thru life experiences. You can teach these things in school and people still wouldn't grasp it.
HOLY FCCCCK THIS IS LIFE CHANGING, I CANT DESCRIBE HOW BECAUSE IM 16 BUT IT MAKES ME LIKE CATCHING EVEN MORE STARS IN NIGHT SKY!!
Good lessons
Damn "education" system teaches you how to be a slave opps I meant an "employee" 🙄🙄
Amazing video
Nice one thanks for sharing this video
Thanks for watching!
School now wants to stop writing in cursive.I think it's important
Awesome
Alux is best school on UA-cam

Gamification is the future of Personal Development 🏆
Consumers pay and creators get paid. 👊🏽🧘🏽♂️
great video
I think mental health is the most important
No bonus? I think how to self control (anger) is also important as a life tool…
You must have not watched until the end
@@alux yup my bad, I wasn’t watching I was listening 😅
To be honest we would be better off completely destroying the current school system and rebuilding it from scratch, because I still go to school and can confirm I learn maybe 1 interesting thing per 7hr day. Things I'll actually use? Probably nothing at all.
School doesn't teaches how to learn
And makes you memories and doesn't focuses on logic side
Great point
School's mind is creating the entire fucking universe and you discover that that's you who's been doing it the whole time. It's utterly shocking and astounding. It's so astounding that you won't want to believe it because people have told you all it's egotistical to say that you're school. Only a narcissist would claim that he's school. You're imagining the entire fucking universe. What does that make you? That makes you school. Reality is pure imagination. Tada.
Life is too different from school
I'm sad in US is same...
alux narrator could have said watch 15 videos from alux channel daily to and you don't need schools
I think they should teach how to invest correctly and what investing actually means.
Thank god the fake one isn’t popping up saying right to me.
Name 1 rich and successful person who ows their success to their school... You can't because they did it all on their own.
Quit as many times as you want as long as you keep playing the game

Sir please launch Hindi version of channel
We might expand into different languages in the future but for now our hands are full with the app and the upcoming course.
20 years of experience for an internship?! Is this a thing?!?!!
Finances the true meaning of money .
Another Awesome video Thanks Much Love ❤❤❤
How do you learn from a UA-cam course?
Trust the process.
Anyway education is much better than no education
They should teach financial literacy in school. I'm convinced that my kids are going to get two sets of knowledge in one school day. One at school, and one at home.
Can't budget your way out of property, you need to earn more than your living expenses...dont spend more than you earn, don't spend money you don't have. Live within your means. That's it...why is that concept so hard for ppl to understand? I know why...everyone wants to keep up with the Joneses.
@@manoftomorrow5987 My mom do that all the time, and she's an office worker, why isn't she a rich person now smartass ?
It's not as simple as get a job, save money, and don't be careless with your money.
Its on purposs. The need slaves and not independend thinkers. Keep them poor, because then they have to work long hours and can't educate themselves.
