Such a pretty scene. My sister's best friend lost her Japanese mom right before her 95th birthday in March, and she's taking her ashes back to Tokyo to spread this year among her favorite trees.

Cherry blossoms bloom for a short period of time and fall all at once when they fall. Like the samurai of old, when you fall, you fall without making excuses. It should not bloom for a long, long period. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate Easter with your parents during the cherry blossom season again this year. By the way, your children have a wonderful sense of balance. Let's look forward to next year's cherry blossom season.

It's always nice to see happy family like yours of the three generations! As I understand it, that sort of extended family is rare in the States but I think it deserves to rethink about its pros, although I know that sort of extended family, once not rare, is now diminishing even in Japan. Hopefully your family can create a new style of family life of three generations. It looks like worth challenging!
