Onimusha 2 really was the best. Faith, Honesty, Charity, Respect , Strength Life lessons to carry forever and show that your spirit is the 1 thing that truly matters
If only it didn't come with the worst final boss in the entire series. Seriously, I enjoyed fighting Fortinbras with/without the Bishamon Sword in Warlords, Demon King Nobunaga in Demon Siege, and the entire final boss gauntlet in Dawn of Dreams than I did fighting that damn golden statue. Seriously the fight with Nobunaga before it was better and wasn't made trivial if you completed the Dark Realm to get the Rekka-Ken (looking at you, Fortinbras, who dies in like 5 hits from the Bishamon Sword).
My personal favorite is Samanosuke's from both Warlords and Demon Siege, the CGI reveal at the end of Warlords blew my mind as a kid. And then in Demon Siege, he absorbed his past self into the gauntlet to become the Ultimate Onimusha to battle it out with Demon King Nobunaga.
The best transformation isnt in the video , the best one is in O3 openning intro, that intro was better than whole game. The best Onimusha for me was O2, a master piece.
I made a mashup video a long time ago using the intro and the pirates of the Caribbean theme. I lined up unbelievably well. Very very early UA-cam days, don't remember the channel name as it's been over 15 years ago.
I might be in the minority, but when Soki transforms into the Black Oni god, I got so hyped! Very cinematic. But obviously Samanoske is the best Oni Warrior. Can't wait for the new game!!!!!!!
I think my favorite transformation will always be jubei, I loved samanosuke transformation especially in onimusha 3 but onimusha 2 will always be a very special game to me, because I'll never forget asking my grandma for money to get this game, and she said yes, RIP grandma, hopefully Capcom will remake onimusha 1 through 4 one day because they are truly a masterpiece and deserves a remake .
@@UltraPtLord yeah maybe but I thought I remember hearing last year that after Capcom was finished with dragon dogma 2 they were going to start working on RE5 remake, DMC 6 and onimusha remake, and that makes sense since there is an entire generation of kids that never got to play onimusha 1 through 4 and they would sell like hotcakes now.
I played all 4 of these games again and again and again. You think about technology back then, these games on the PS2 were just 10/10 in every single way possible. Now all these years later Onimusha will return, I already have a few games I'm excited for AC Shadows, Ghost of yutei & Phantom Blade zero but Onimusha way of the sword has rocketed to the top of the list.

@@UltraPtLord tbh even up to this day of modern day consoles that opening scene alone can stand the test of time that the graphics where very similar to modern vfx or cgi movies 💁🏻♀️🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💯and this was a PS2 game back in 2004 not 2022

At the time I played the game, I didn't pay attention to it, but today, as an adult, I value it and that kind of thing.

Capcom is now so focused on RE remakes, I don't think we're going to have a remake or maybe some new onimusha

And the onimusha happened because Capcom wanted a Resident Evil in Japan and it ended up being Onimusha
