What they didn't show about Rekka-Ken is that the magic attack hits twice. If they'd used a bigger enemy to demonstrate this, you'd see the fire damage from the initial attack, and then another tick of fire damage from the lingering flames!
Tip you can access the different special move levels via the different charge levels. It's been over 10 and I was a kid playing this and I still remember that... even though I rarely used it. Also the dokoutski special move and charge 3 you could keep going if I remember correctly if you have the skill Also my move favorite move. Charge 3 counter. You counter even the monsters that didn't hithe you but are around you for massive damage.

The onimusha series should be revived or remastered. Quite an underated series gotta admit.
