  • You’re going to have to think long and hard about your physical health and weight if you’re looking for a traditional house wife type of woman 😅
And here is a book that will absolutely change your relationship for the better. We hear all the time about communication in relationships but men and women come at communicating in two totally different ways. This talks about the difference between the needs of men and women for respect vs love.

      Oh girl! Same!!!!
I have a lemon tree that vomits lemons from new years to Easter and I’m making lemonade and lemon bars practically daily. In the summer, I have a key lime tree that fruits like crazy so I greet Mr Joyful at the door w a soda water and lime (occasionally a gin and tonic) and make key lime pies like it’s the end of the world.
And we travel to WA in the summer and the kids all pick berries and I make syrups and muffins and everything. The kids and I make homemade ice cream for the syrups too.
And cooking. Oh I looooove cooking. I do cook healthy but they are soooooo good and on cheat day… 🤤

I’m having the same issue with my husband. He has been doing so well with loosing weight but I love to bake. I found a work around. I make mini triple berry pies sweetened with honey instead of sugar. You cut the crust with a round cookie cutter and put them in a muffin pan. Then add the berry/honey filling. Bake on 350 for 20 minutes. They are so good and are a healthier option than cookies.

We can't go back to the traditional society and gender roles because of 1) economy and 2) selfish men. In the past, a man couldn't just leave his wife. It would be a scandal and he would be ostracised. Also, most men were religious, they had some ethos instilled in them. Nowadays, he could leave a woman penniless with no consequences. That's why, while it might be tempting to become a housewife, it's very VERY risky. Most modern men are cheating assholes, never doubt it. You might get a good man but it's like winning a lottery. And no, it's not like "you just have to choose well" because people can change, especially with midlife crisis and no one can predict how a person will turn out in a few years.

Why can't people celebrate a traditional housewife without putting down "modern women" who have careers. I know plenty of working women who love to cook and bake. Some of them actually work in the culinary industry. Wives can spoil their husbands and families regardless if they work or not.

    • @David_Talks.

The term ‘modern woman’ is entirely an attitude and mindset thing pushed by radical 4th wave feminism to get women to turn away from the one thing men actually want from them which is their femininity, their caring nurturing and supportive soul… no man wants a masculine, aggressive manlike woman… 🤦‍♂️

Best thing women can ultimately do when the man dies is ban together with other women (communally) and raise kids in peace without getting financially trapped or stressed out unnecessarily!
They never tell the truth to young women and that is the financial security is only “temporary.” There is no true safety net to being a TRAD Wife! Meanwhile the man gets a housekeeper, a breeder to pass on his egotistical “legacy,” a sex worker, a chef, a therapist, and a mommy ALL in one package. Why would he ever want to get rid of that?

I'm terrified to use them myself though, lmao. I'll stick to being in the kitchen for my fiancé and kids. He works and provides for us and though my chronic health conditions limit me greatly, I do what I can to support us at home in my own ways. 💜
My fiancé actually hasn't cooked in quite a long time that he's lost his touch but when we first got together I was 16 and he was 20. I moved in shortly after we got together because of my rough home life so I knew how to do nothing at all. Well, this man literally taught me how to cook, clean, and everything I know now mostly. Mothers are supposed to teach these things to their daughters but my mother surely didn't. She chose to teach them to her sons who still live with people that care for them. My fiancé and I have both had hard times getting our footing in life but everything has been together and I couldn't be more grateful. No, you guys just want a servant. A housewife cares for the home and the kids, but they are not your personal servants. If you want a housewife, then man up and accept responsibility for the family. Be a leader and a head of the family. Be a God fearing man who loves his wife as Christ loves the Church. Be ready to sacrifice for her even to the point of death. Help her and nourish her. Show her your love with absolute fidelity to your wedding vows. Look at no other women the same way that you look at your wife. Never ever consume porn. If you are an addict, get professional help with it immediately. A man is the bread winner, but he is also first to take responsibility for all things related to the care of the family. If the wife is feeling poorly, your first responsibility is to carry the entire load of caring for her and making sure that you keep the house clean and a nutritious meal on the table. You are her helper in times of need. Remember that she is your equal even if she has a different role in the family. She deserves your attention, love and care always.
So don't look for a "tradwife" if you aren't willing to shoulder all of the responsibility that goes with being a traditional husband and father.
