I have loads of that Kromlech ork junkyard terrain. How was it for assembling ? easy ? is it very fragile ? still haven't got around to building it all

You should figure out a way to build a small Bluetooth speaker into the stage, so the Goff Rockers can “play” some musical accompaniment to your games.

Just needs some cheap orange acrylic stippled on a few bits of metal to bring up the rust tones. Otherwise it's all looking great

Ork terrain is so much fun to build and easy. I even managed to make a dakka jet from trash and pva. It's a joy to make

Little tip to get rid of the tiny squares, get a stiff brush (like a scrubbing brush), hold the piece off the table and press it firmly against the squares. Should get most of them out in one go. You can also just smack the brush into them to get rid of the last few.

Whelp, that’s way better than anything I could do. Awesome work, those Kromlech kits look great! (But they really do take a million times longer to assemble than the instructions say.)

Great board Oliver! Gonna be working on some Killteam terrain here coming up. Definitely gonna use the tile grout technique to add some great texture to the build. 🤘
Ah awesome! 😊 Grout is amazing, I use it for most things. It's great added to ground covers because it sets rock hard, which is great for gaming tables.

Great board. $35 for a bloody STL file, mind? Seems ludicrously expensive, though the models do look wicked on the stage.
Yeah, it's pricey. 🤔 But they were the best ones out there, and the board wouldn't be complete without them.

How well did that spray of varnish hold all the sand and grit that you put on the board?
Really well. So for the board, I used straight pva, then covered it with watered down pva a few times (letting it dry), then use the matt scenic Sealant, then just used a can or two of varnish. 😀
@@BroadswordWargaming Riiiiiight that makes sense. I thought you'd said in the video you just sprayed it all with varnish and I wanted to know how that worked so that I could buy a truckload of it lol

How did you glue down all the terrain material? Was it spray adhesive or regular PVA?
The buildings were attacked with modelling compound. The ground cover was pva all over the board.. Once that had dried, squirt it with watered down pva glue as many times as you want (the more the merrier), then hit it with some cheap varnish or the mattscenic Sealant.
"Whoops...seems like a time to push on!" translation: "He sucks, but I'm great!"
