    A dark, abandoned pumping facility. A grimdark canvas to build upon and expand. Any ideas ? Shoot !

      What about a conveyor belt to dump stuff into the sludge pool? What about holding cells for mutants? What about a giant crane? Anything industrial will go well with this set piece you created. Top notch, mate.

      Maybe a fishing spot for underhive mutants. God (and you) knows what they fish from there. Could be expanded to a local mutant "settlement", with a few shack structures for homes and food stalls. Futurama style, just,well...more grimdark.

      I know it probably doesn't fit into Warhammer at all, but I'd love to see your take on an abandoned Railway freight yard/engine shed, with a rusting Locomotive as the centre piece and maybe a monster living within....

    It's really good, it's great to see how the old classics are stil excellent building materials. But the end result is too clean, in my opinion, then again it would be easy to add some grime, wear and rust. Also tealights are the new hotness.

    • @DarkMatterWorkshop
      @DarkMatterWorkshop  4 роки тому +2

      Yes ! But there are good reasons why i don’t wheather extensively. (Check out my other industrial pieces and they all share that characteristic of ‘cleanliness’)
      Keep following and all will be clear. 😉

    Awesome as always. I have been experimenting with cardboard tubes and found that a sheet of plain paper cut to size and stuck on with Mod Podge covers up the telltale spiral lines. Nonetheless this is a great bit of terrain - cant wait to see whats next.

    I'm a huge fan of this project, it looks amazing. An idea I get from looking at it is maybe a gang of some sort has been using a portion of this facility as their own, perhaps using the waste pool as a form of torture and punishment with dipping cages.

    Another great video, thanks Gert. I cannot wait to see the facility in it's whole finished glory, it will make one heck of a centrepiece. If I may make a suggestion, rather than wasting all your good acrylic rod on making rivets have a look into obtaining a cheap diamond painting kit. They are approximately the same size but are bevelled in a hex shape. They also come with a precision applicator to make accurate placement simple and easy. One kit usually has thousands of these little beads a lifetimes supply of terrain rivets.
