I took my Hesi entrance exam for an LPN program yesterday (4/26/24) and passed 1st time with a 90% in math and reading. Your videos really helped me. Especially how you go through the practice tests and break down why each answer is correct. I used a few other things to study as well but this really tied everything together for me and eased some of my anxiety. Thank you!

I had been taking sample tests of the vocabulary, grammar, and math but was scoring in the 70s and 80s; I watched your videos the morning of my test and listened to them on the drive and I made 100 on math and vocabulary! 😊 I’m so thankful. On the hesi test, for questions like the one that asked for 75F on a Celsius scale, how are we supposed to know the equation C=5/9(F-32) ? Will that be stated with the question to use that? Or are we expected to go into the test just knowing that random equation ?
I think his just too lucrative and perfect for this job I got enrolled for the direct license option because I had no time to study and I received my license within the period of 8day
I learned this in my pre req class in chemistry. These videos are good to show what formulas we need to memorize
I’m studying early for the RN Pax (or NLN). Test time is in October but I’m gonna try and take it early if possible. This walk through is very helpful because math has always been a struggle for me. Thank you for taking time to break down each problem and explaining it.
I don't know if this will help someone but for me, I found it easier just by multiplying the given options to the number to get the answer when solving for X. Since fractions always mess me up. For example, 14 + 8x = 70. I just did it as 14 + 8(7) = 70. 8x7=56 and 56 + 14 = 70.
I took my HESI yesterday and I passed! Thanks for the explanation and walk through in the steps!

taking the Hesi A2 hopefully mid January. I've taken it twice before but the math has been my only hang up. This video definitely gives me some better insight on how to work through it. equations are still a struggle for me.

I'm sorry, I had to pause the video so I could thank you. I'm on question 22 right now and each question you give, I'd pause the video and do them and just to say I've yet to get one incorrect answer. I took my Hesi A2 last week and failed. So it gives you the converstion from inches to centimeters but not any of the others? That doesn't really make sense.
At 21:19 how did you get the top numbers as 9 and 4? Did you cross multiply?
So I have a question, for the proportions how do you determine whether it's part or whole when trying to find x. I keep getting confused

Easier way to do C to F conversion (bc that fraction stuff took a long time) is to mult c temp by 2 then add 30.

Thank you for the videos....although it should be more problems about the conversion from pounds to Oz, from kilometers to meters, from inches to meters etc. It help me and I pass but I had a lot of the conversions in my test and the score was not what I expected.

will we recive a conversion sheet on the test ?
There is not a conversion sheet provided to you on the test. However for some questions a formula or conversion might be provided but it won't be like a full sheet given to you ahead of time or during the test.

I’m still confused on the Celsius problems what do I need to multiply ?
The formula for °C to °F is: ° F = ( °C × 9 5 ) + 32. The easiest format are: to covert Fahrenheit to Celsius. C=F-32)divide 1.8
To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit F=C multiple 1.8) +32
175/1050.. how did get 25 and 7 to get your answers?
25 goes into 175 7 times
25 goes into 1050 25 times
does hesi provide calculator?
Yes but only a 4 function calculator!

I’ve taken the hesi a2 last week and some of these questions doesn’t seem to be the ones on the test. I’m scared to even go based off of this. Should I just take what she is doing and plug it into the other test questions? This is my second time and I’m terrified
Edit: hey guys me again, from the last time I commented 3 hours ago until now. I wrote every question down on pen and paper and I worked every question out with the help of this lady! She makes it seem so easy. I understood every single question with such ease! Maybe except for like 2 questions but I quickly learned because I kept going back! This lady is a blessing sent from above! I will continue to study this and hopefully I will pass now. 3 hours later and I’m confident. THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!🧡🧡🧡 oh also. There’s alotttt of ratio and proportions but they are super easy when you get the hang of it ! Good luck guys!!
