This video entails Vocabulary words Found on the Hesi A2 Vocabulary Exam.I used the Elsevier "Hesi Admission Assessment Exam Review " and Trivium Hesi A2 Study Guide". I took the Hesi A2 exam twice and passed both times. I started these types of videos to help better educate myself ( I am a visually learner ) and a few of my peers found these videos very helpful ( hopefully you did too) , so we decided to share with them with everyone. I also have experience taking other pre-nursing exams, e.g.Teas" and "Kaplan". What that being said, I have gained knowledge and experience that I am pleased to share with YOU! I got a 100% on A&P and Math!! Your Math and A&P helped me so much. I got a 94% overall. For those of you taking the test in the future playing these videos on repeat, doing nurse hub quizzes /videos, and Quizlet are what helped me. I was running out of time so some of my sections were rushed. Definitely keep an eye on the clock.

I linked one of my quizlets. I also used the resources Nursehub and Smart Edition Academy. Nursehub and Nurse Shai videos were amazing resources. I wouldn’t suggest Smart Edition Academy. I definitely studied but really I only studied a month prior to the test. If it wasn’t for Nurse Shai’s Math, Anatomy and Vocabulary video I don’t think my scores would be nearly as high. As far as grammar Nursehub was an amazing resource for that subject. Biology was my lowest score overall. I’m sure there was a good resource for Biology out there but I felt I was just choosing my best option and wasn’t quite sure.

I made a 94% on my Vocabulaty section and all I did was watch this video a couple a times, (it helps to have a good vocabulary) but I believe anyone could do well on the exam with this information. Thank you so much. God Bless You!!!

I kept this video on repeat for a whole week. When I took my hesi today...all I could her was your voice in my head. I made 80% on the vocabulary section. Now you have a UA-cam follower/friend for the rest of your life😂😂😂😂 THANK YOU!

I came to thankful to you, bc you made awesome videos like vocabulary, a&m, and math. Those three videos almost contain everything about hesi test that we need. I took mine like 1 hour ago, and quizlets and these videos was all about it. 🥰

I just want to thank you so much for your videos.I only had a very limited time roughly less than a week to study for the HESI exam. I took the test last week for the LVN to BSN RN program at West Coast University and passed with a 83.50% !!. Again thank you for taking the time to create this videos.

Hey Shai. I’m currently studying the hesi. I’m getting tested on vocab , math , and reading. My overall passing score must be a 75% or better. I’m nervous starting with the vocab
Use multiple resources and practice everyday and you should be fine. Good luck on your exam! 🦋

This is good. My tip would be to write out the examples so we can visually see the word in the sentence.
I just noticed these are all the words on my HESI exam book, but it does include some words not on there, is it because these are words combined from other study guide/books? I’m trying to learn as many vocab from different sources since the last time I took the test I got 84 on vocab since there were some not on the sources I used lol.
Is this also helpful for the dental hygiene program or is just for Nursing ?

I understand but try not to be nervous. The exam tests on basic skills nothing too complex. In preparation of the exam I would watch the videos in this playlist and seek out other resources as well (UA-cam Videos, Quizlet and Practice Books).

Nurse Shai did you create your own personal flashcards to retain all these vocabulary words? Did you create a quizlet? What worked best for you to retain all these vocabulary words? I would like to know Nurse Shai (Only) please. Please and thank you.
Honestly, I made flash cards, studied the book and make an audio recording ( similar to this video) of all the words I had trouble remembering. Repetition is the Mother of Retention.
I just took my HESI A2 v1 exam. Passed all sections except the vocab 😢 I am rescheduled to take it but I’m wondering if the questions will be the same as it’s now 2024 and I need to take version 2 of the exam? Can anyone please tell me

Use multiple resources. The vocabulary section of the test was pretty straight forward to me .

How to get the critical thinking book/ exam?
have you heard of the PSB exam? If so do you think your content would help me with passing that test?
I never heard of that particular exam, I took the Hesi, Kaplan, and the Teas. They all were similar, but I am not sure about the PSB exam though. But it can’t hurt watching these videos. Most pre nursing exam entails basic information.
Great video, but you might want to double-check information. The word "imply" does not have the correct definition.
I passed all the sections but vocabulary, ( my school need 5 sections: math . Reading, anatomy. Grammar. Vocabulary) I feel vocabulary is hardest section! I learned the vocabulary, non of them appear on the exam. I don’t know what to do now. 🙁
Same thing happened to me. I still passed the vocab portion with a mid 70 but there were so many vocabulary words on my HESI that were not on any study guides I purchased. Wish they’d just give an actual, true study guide to the HESI.

Passing the HESI test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mr James

How did you know that these words would be on the HESI? I took the exam in 2023 and got a 94 on the vocab but this year they had more words I’ve never really seen and I got an 88! 😢 Over all I got a 92

Good video overall...but several are mispronounced, or have the wrong meaning
The way in which a word is pronounced is not as important on the Pre-nursing exam as testing for a vocabulary or English test. However, it would be helpful to know which words have the wrong meaning so it can be corrected. Thanks!
