I’m glad it was helpful!
wow this video was very informative ill be using the resources thanks(:
Do you think focusing on one online course is enough or I have to work on all of them ?
Passing the HESI exam is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don't have time for your studies l'd advise you get yourself a help like Mr James
@emmanuelanthony2107Yes you’re correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can’t study then get yourself a good help
I studied for months and couldn’t pass, I guess passing is a blessing
HESI might seem so tough to pass but studying very hard is a very vital skill to win trust me
Everyone has their own way, James worked for me
Omgsh you’re the best!
Just took it yesterday, got a 91.6%!! 🙌🏽🔥🔥, my lowest section was I think reading at 84%.
Awesome!! Congrats!!! 🍾🎊
Omg I’m so overwhelmed with this test .. i study I’m like I forgot everything 😩
@@EstyNistor So I got into my schools nursing program. Dixie State University (Utah Tech University starting in July) is where i'll be getting my degree.

I have sat for Hesi for the 2nd time now and still failed, i guess licence isn't meant for people like me😭
Thank you.
Thank you so much
Anybody please help me regarding where can I take the Hesi A2 exam Online in united states?
@smallbright7125I’ve always believed Hesi is not for all but studying, you need God’s grace to pass

Hi, Thank you for the tips! I will be taking my HESI exam soon. Can you make another tips and tricks focusing Math and A&P section? Would greatly appreciate it! ❤️❤️🙏🏼
I used highly recommended authentic exam materials provided by Dr David I passed my exam on my first attempt taking maximum 20 questions a day I studied for two weeks, 9 days effectively. Anyone interested feel free to contact for details
His number is found on my channel

Wishing you the best!
SAME 7 DAYS EXACTLY!!
Well, I've taken the exams for the 2nd time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it. 😭💔
@@stephenmc8271 Just say "I haven't passed yet." Don't
take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet"; you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on your goal.

Hi I’m about to take the hesi exam in a couple of weeks. Do you know if the calculator on the math portion allows you to work with decimals? It would be super helpful to know so I don’t waste my time computing on paper
Yes, a basic four-function calculator is included, so you should be able to work with decimals ☺️
thanks so much for your video! for your Amazon book link, do you have a newer edition to recommend? such as 2023 for example? thank you ahead

Hi! Do you remember how many passages were on the reading comprehension section for you? Also how long are they (number of paragraphs)?
I don’t remember the exact number, but I do know that I had about 4-5 questions per passage for most of the passages. Some of them were short, like just a couple paragraphs. Some were long, like 4 or 5 paragraphs. It was really a mixture of length as well as different types of passages/style of writing.
I went from 40 to 93,on my 3rd attempt and owe it all to Mr David, I Finally gained admittion with the best grades Anatomy and Physiology,i used the preparation tips and tricks of Mr DAVID, I passed, I was referred to him by my friend before my exams,so actually recommending him to you guys
I decided to creat a Chanel with few of his videos, check my channel for his number

Way to go!!
Im taking the TEAS and the HESI exam in the same month, what do you recommend the best way to study for the both of these exams?
The Mometrix secrets study guides were very helpful for me. If you’re looking for a course/comprehensive review, I would recommend either Mometrix Online Courses (they have a separate course for each of the tests) or Nurse Hub. The nice part about the Nurse Hub course is that the subscription covers all the test prep courses, so you pay one subscription cost for all the tests that they include
What would you recommend more? Mometrix or Smart Edition Academy?
That’s a tough one because they are both really solid and extremely similar in content. I also found that the questions on both were very similar to the actual test. I think (just personal opinion here) that smart edition has some more difficult science questions, which can be helpful in preparing for the teas science. Mometrix is super solid in all sections, but I personally found the science section to be harder on the real test than the prep. Price for Smart Edition is a one time charge for access to their course, and Mometrix is a monthly subscription which you can cancel when you like.
Hello, I am getting ready for the Hesi exam and your video was very helpful. I was able to sign up for all three sites and so far so good. I plan to take it in March and really hope I pass. In regards to the science portion, did your school require chemistry and biology?
Best of luck on your studies-you’ve got this! I was not required to do the chemistry or biology section on the HESI.
What conversions did you see ? I was told to remember a lot of stuff it would help to narrow it down
I think this cheat sheet from Smart Edition covers the most important ones to know: www.smarteditionacademy.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Cheat-Sheets-HESI-A2.pdf
What school did you apply to in Florida? I'm applying in Florida as well
if you fail one section do you have to retake the entire test again or will they take your highest scores?
I think it depends on which school you are applying to and their requirements but usually you have to retake the entire thing.
Hi! I am also taking the HESI in 2 weeks. Do you mind sharing your studying plan :) I checked out the websites you mentioned
Hi! For the HESI, I took a practice exam first and then made a list of all the topics and areas I was not solid on that I wanted to improve. Then I studied and did tons of practice questions on all of those sections, working from the ones I felt least confident in to the ones I felt more confident in. I primarily used Mometrix Online University. Certainly not a requirement, and you can find lots of great free resources out there also. But it really helped me study well and focus on just what was necessary to focus on in a short amount of time.
Did you see a lot of equations im studying and I see a lot of like -4(40)+8=4(40+x) do you see a lot these?
Yes! Study the order of operations (PEMDAS)
I’m taking my hesi next week, as for math how difficult were the word problems? also about how many word problems were there?
I don’t remember the exact number of word problems, but there were a decent number of word problems. They were not very difficult and quite straightforward.
@@EstyNistor I took my hesi yesterday and got a 94 on the math portion! 94 cumulative for all 5 sections i took thank you for this video!
@@bayleec7579what kind of problems did you see on there the most?! please i have my test next wk
Which one is harder teas or hesi
I felt the TEAS was harder, especially on the Anatomy & Physiology section.
Did you have an issue with the calculator? I was missing the division key on the onscreen calculator and had to guess on quite a few questions 🤦
Oof I’m so sorry that happened…that is awful. That didn’t happen to me, but that sounds like something you should contact them about to see if they can do something for you, since that’s a problem completely on their end.
it’s the slash key, this /
Do you need to take the pre req classes in order to pass this test? Pls answer 😪
No you don’t . Unless you are applying to a program that requires you to already have your prereqs completed. I took my TEAS test before taking any prereqs at all, and I did well on it. I did need to study hard though-esp on Anatomy & Physiology, since I didn’t have a background in that before taking the test.
Is all hesi 2 test all the same in all states? (Texas)
Yes, I believe it is the same nation wide
@@EstyNistor thank you answering my questions barely seeing it
@@EstyNistor which one is best online resources ?
I am having problems with math any suggestions?
Try Brandon Croft on UA-cam. I know a lot of people who use his resources to study for the TEAS exam, and some of the content overlaps with HESI. Other than that, if you know someone who’s good at math who can tutor you for a few hours-that is what has helped me the most with math! Hope that helps a bit!
if you had to choose between those three courses which one would you have picked as most beneficial?
For me personally, it’d be between Mometrix or Nurse Hub. Mometrix has something for every learning style and the course is super comprehensive: posts to read, videos, flashcards, practice questions, and full length practice tests. If you’re looking for something extremely comprehensive, Mometrix might be the way to go. Nurse Hub is also is very comprehensive. If you’re looking for tons of practice questions and lots of practice tests, then NH is a great choice.
Taking my hesi in 2 weeks wish me luck😭
Why not reach out to mr James if you really need help to pass I paid him and right now I passed
Were you able to use a calculator on the whole math section?
Yes, they have a built in calculator to use on the computerized Hesi A2.
Thanks for the tips! Question, was this video sponsored by one of the 3 links you used to study from?
Glad it’s helpful! This video is not sponsored. I personally used those three resources to study for the HESI, and thought all three are strong resources and very similar to the test. The links in the description are affiliate links ☺️❤️
Sorry to ask such a question, but unfortunately I find a lot of these videos like this video that are sponsored and are so biased and bought to say that those study resources are worth it and etc and turns out that we wasted money and it wasn’t close to the Exam. This has happened before when I took the TEAS exam… thankfully I had the mometrix book that I studied off of as well! Anywho, thank you so much for your helpful tips and great study resources. I will be taking the HESI Exam in 2 weeks 🥴
Is it timed?
Yes, here’s the info I have on that: “Total time allotted to complete the exam is 315 minutes (5 hours and 15 minutes), including short breaks equaling a total of 30 minutes. Once time has expired, the HESI A2 will automatically end with no option to re-enter.”
what kind of chem questions where there
The schools I applied to did not require the chemistry section, so I personally did not take. But Mometrix has a helpful sample test you can look at as well as study tips for how to prepare: www.mometrix.com/academy/hesi-a2-chemistry-practice-test/?nab=1&A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F
Math definitely
HESI Math Breakdown: ua-cam.com/video/fjnbxVe1tFQ/v-deo.html
Is it online at home or on testing center?
I did mine at home with a video cam monitoring me. I could also have chosen a testing center at a local college if I had wanted.
How many questions total?
326 questions on the entire test.
I just took the test, & got an overall 93% with 2 weeks of prep, whoever lied & said this test is hard needs to get smacked upside the head. That’s just crazy, im no brainiac by any means, im just mad at people online hyping this test up into something it never was & “hard” isn’t one of them. If you paid attention in 8th grade, you’ve got it in the bag, that’s all I’ll say, the practice tests are all way harder than the actual test. What a joke.
Great job!! I personally found the TEAS test much more challenging than the HESI. However, in my opinion, the HESI wasn’t just “easy” . I really had to study for A & P as I had not taken a course in that before taking my nursing entrance exams. The other sections felt basically like a review of what I’d learned in middle school/high school.
@@EstyNistor agreed, however, nursing school itself is the real litmus test. Speaking for my program atleast, it weeded out the low performers relatively quickly.
Calculator available ?
Yes, on the computerized test there is a built in calculator to use.
how long did you study for the hesi exam?
I studied for 2 weeks using the online courses I mentioned in the video and linked in the video description 👍
@@EstyNistor would you recommend your link for dental hygiene hesi takers?
Are able to use a calculator in the math section?
You cannot bring your own calculator, but there is a built-in calculator that you can use throughout the math section.
Are you able to have scratch paper
Yes, you can have scratch paper. You will need to show your proctor your scratch paper, whether you’re taking in person or online.
Taking mine in 4 hours.. 🙃🔫
Wishing you the best of luck! You got this! 👏🏻
What so she studied 3 books in two weeks riiiigggghhttt. Wink wink
Lol-never said I studied 3 books in 2 weeks, but I did use all 3 courses mentioned in the video. They are all very similar to each other and you can’t go wrong choosing one of them for your studies, from my personal experience.
I’m taking my HESI tomorrow. Pray for me. 😅🙏🏽🫶🏽
Wishing you the best!!!
