His answer: pretty much the gluten antibodies have a halflife of 60 days so expect at least 60 days to recover a significant amount and probably 6+ months for full recovery.

I went to the Center for Functional Medicine for my brain health several years ago. They took me off gluten. Within a year, I was 70 pounds lighter, and my GERD was gone. I had my first colonoscopy ever with no polyps. I was SO much healthier. A few years later, my sister in another state was severely injured in a car accident and so, suddenly, I was travelling across three states every weekend tothe hospital ICU, and then to her rehab hospital , and now to her extended care facility. Along the highway, and in hospital cafeterias, I started eating junk lunches again-Hamburgers, etc. I feel gross. GERD is back, gained weight back. So, now I need to get back on track, and bring all my own food because fast food choices are all I have on the Interstate system. 😢

I followed exposure three (resulted in horrible gas, diarrhea, mental fatigue) I tried to eat yogurt and rice thinking probiotics and easier on my system only to get much worse! This week I just learned about dairy being a horrible follow up to gluten exposure. And corn? No one has mentioned that! It’s overwhelming with little support to navigate this issue.

I suspect it’s not so much gluten as it is the genetic modification and the glyphosate they use. I wonder if uk changed the way they treat grains, and that’s why?
A lot of people who have issues with grains, don’t when they eat in Europe. I really think it’s more than gluten. Glyphosate is a horrific chemical, and even the meat we eat, has glyphosate in it, from the grains they were fed. The stuff just doesn’t break down. I don’t think Europe uses this chemical like the states does. The grains are modified, to tale up even more of the chemical, to stop insects eating the crops. Well if insects won’t eat it, you can bet your life, while it saves the farmers profits, it won’t be any good for us.

I am Coeliac and have Dermatits Herpetiformis. When I went on a strict Gluten Free diet my last lesion disappeared all of 2 years later. I had 4 pies that were claimed to be gluten free and weren't. They were made from wheaten corn flour. The rash came back for 17 weeks. When I started on a GF diet in 1982, my weight had never been greater than 50 kgs. Two years later my weight was 85kgs and I had a considerable job reducing my weight down to 73kg. Gluten is in wheat, barley, oats, rye and millet, or a range of products derived them. eg malt from barley. Overall I have been well for many years. My daughter-in-law has a gluten allergy but is not coeliac.

Gluten free detoxification to me starts to make a lot of my joints feel looser and less inflamed, my digestive system starts to make a lot of noise, bubbling and resetting, and just new sensations.

I've learned so much in the few weeks since finding this channel, and it explains so much. The last ER visit, I was completely perplexed as to why I had gone into sepsis, being very careful to watch what I eat, and not being able to pinpoint even an accidental poisoning. The ER doctor asked if I had been diagnosed with FIPS. At this point, I have not, but I've been unable to seek proper and regular medical care due to finances. I looked into the disorder...Fulminic Ischemic Pancolitis. I suffer from both melena and hematochezia. At this point, I fear I may have colon cancer, but am remiss for options for medical intervention. I can't begin to express how valuable a service the education you provide is to those who are suffering and in the predicament that I find myself in.

FINALLY! Some good information about gluten. Thank you for an amazing video. Also, wheat was consumed in the Bible; however, grains like Einkorn are supposed to be the original wheat of our ancestors. It has 14 chromosomes, whereas other grains have up to 46 chromosomes more or less.
This is thought to be another reason why the body cannot tolerate wheat or grain products. We are supposed to sprout grains to help break down the gluten or plant cell walls, just like legumes, so it is more digestible; however, due to poor agriculture, genetic modification, and hybridization of foods, it is just not safe to eat at all. Gluten is supposed to be the plant's protection against harsh weather and pathogens as well.
The grains mentioned may have been completely different, too, and no longer around or the satanic elites hid the original foods for themselves. (I would not doubt that one bit)
My only disagreement with the video is genetic testing. The medical industry is notorious for doing illegal things with people's DNA. I suffered severe harassment from the military for my organs, and that is one reason why I left because I am AGAINST organ donation and medical research. I had given blood for cancer research back in 2003-2007 when I was active duty; I was denied the research because of the countries I traveled to, but now I see how they lie after learning about Henrietta Lacks, the Tuskegee Airmen, and so forth. I just so happen to have dark skin, too. What a coincidence and how convenient, right?
I am so glad I found this video. In Jesus's Mighty Name. Amen and amen...

After 6 months on the diet, I tried some GF products because I was bored. I could use other excuses, but basically I was bored, and missed things like pasta. I started to gain weight again, and I found it wasn't helping my gut biome. It was also spiking glucose levels, because it is still starch which turns to sugar. I decided then it was junk food that I should avoid.
And thank you for pointing out that there is a correlation between gluten and autoimmune issues. I have so many friends with autoimmune issues that continue to eat gluten. Intuitively, I felt there was a connection. You just confirmed it.

I believe it is the underlying cause or contributed to the onset of Alpa1 Antitrypsin Deficiency which is a genetic pulmonary disease that runs in families. My liver does not have the gene that turns my food into protein to feed my organs so it's critical I am diligent about what I consume internally and externally. When I get hit with traces of wheat be it through food, or contact with my skin through makeup, the kind of laundry soap used on bedding and clothes my reaction is always very taxing to my overall well-being. I was told i have gluten and lactose sensitivity at 58, by a random naturopath, ayurvedic practitioner when he felt my pulse (that's the way they examine a patient). I went off wheat and wheat products and milk. I've lost all the excess weight i was carrying on my frame since a decade. There is no more spasms and bloating in the abdomen. No swinging between diarrhea and constipation. Energy levels are amazing.
Luckily, in India, we have a host of native, indigenous food grains which are regularly consumed - maize, rice, different types of millets. All these are naturally gluten free. And ghee (clarified butter) can be safely consumed by people who are lactose intolerant.

I really appreciate this video. Great delivery from the host. I’m 3 days no gluten. I’ve had issues with it for 5-6 years. To the point where I’ve wanted to commit suicide way too many times for someone my age. The worst symptoms were what felt like brain swelling (encephalitis), tons of brain fog of course, hormonal imbalances (no sex drive at times, feeling like my testosterone levels are extremely low and even feeling like my estrogen levels may be high cuz of how emotional I can get) very alarming for a 32 yr old strong male athlete. In these 3 days of not eating any gluten I have felt a massive reduction in inflammation not only in my brain but throughout my body. It feels like my body has been under severe stress and it’s starting to loosen up. Thing is, I’ve done this many times before, one time achieving about 2 months no gluten which equated to the best I’ve felt in the past 5-6 years. I’m going at it again and I’m planning to really stay strong with it forever if need be. The whole 6 months to leave the body concept blew my mind and makes a lot of sense. Sharing this with hopes it helps someone out somehow. Even if it’s just showing you you’re not alone. Cut the gluten out and be really serious about it like your life depends on it, because it does.

At last! Someone says the truth! I always thought that gluten slowed down digestion for me and you just confirmed it! Thank you 🙏
