This figures transforms from robot, to lion, to jet, to combined functions for Masterpiece Star Saber. The two figures combine to form a ginormous MP-styled Victory Saber.
Keith's Fantasy Club has produced their best figure yet with Simba. This release matches MP Star Saber almost perfectly, and Simba is the best MP Victory Leo I think we'll ever see: official or unofficial. If you want this character in your MP collection, this is the figure to get.

really amazing figure, have two of these on pre-order, hopefully they come out soon. Now if he can only follow this up with Galaxy Shuttle, Deathsaurus, and Blue Bachhus, I will be extremely happy
Once there's a masterpiece ginrai (maybe we can use the Legends version) perceptor and minerva we can make a diorama of god ginrai's rebirth into Victory Leo.

Man get the kfc upgrade kit for the hands and the joints. It’s worth it they are like 20 bucks a piece. It’s hands upgrade give him articulated hands and the joints upgrade give him way tighter joints.
Would have been nice if a size comparison was done with a large combiner like Feral Rex or Warbotron.

This looks good, but did they really have to be so faithful to the original toy, that they left the combined robot mode the worst one? Victory Saber is basically just Star Saber with boots and a backpack. I would have been happy, if they had turned some of the extra kibble into some kind of extra pieces for his arms.

great review. just received mine. awesome solid figure. only complain is the lion headsculpt kinda look like a sea-lion :P slightly smaller snout would look nicer imho.

I actually like this guy more than I thought I would... Primarily just his Bot mode and Lion mode... The ship is a bit outlandish and the proportions are horrendous in combined mode. But the 2 primary modes look great!

I do appreciate your reviews in helping collectors decide on what to buy. However, your view is by its nature biased because you are trying to sell more figures on your site. There were no negative comments about this figure in your review...every figure has trade-offs and you owe it to fans to report on those.
I guess the moral of the story, you do reviews how you want to do, and everyone else can do them how they want to do.
I wish to wait for Takara Tomy, hope that there will be improvements on pegs and hole system, & yah a gun that can be held by the original hand.

I got mine in today. I'm having major problems with his legs. Specifically, the extending of his leggs. The mechanism is just way too tight. I read the instruction booklet. I took care not to pull at the legs holding the waist. But it took tremendous force to make the first leg extend. The second leg, unfortunately, broke. It came off at the balljoint at the hip. Anyone else have this problem?
On this test shot I slightly loosened the screws that hold the legs together. That let the legs slide out easier. I just assumed that was a problem with the test shot and not the retail release.
That sucks. They should have fixed it for the final release.
