And so glad to finally see Josh get a little bit of vocals in, Ive missed him since his better works on AILD. I hope they can throw him a few lines of his own on future releases
But yes he has such a killer voice. Their music is great but it would be icing on the cake to add him. If you haven't heard he did a vocal feature on a song called aura by oni. Along with Howard Jones too
The bridge in this song is actually Josh and Mike both harmonizing with Courtney. She will always be the main focus for good reason, but hoping Josh gets some more parts like how they do it live with songs like Yellowjacket and The Void. Their voices sound so great together. Most of these songs were written before he joined which is why Mike is credited for the bass too. Couldn't be more excited for their next album but this EP is sublime.
I think we have yet to see how big Spiritbox really are, for djent/metalcore, for a young band and for Canadian rock/metal. They're something special, I knew it on their first release but theyve broken borders continually since then
Personal favorite off the EP

Sounds like he may have had the dream I die backing vocals on ultraviolet too

I could see this one being sampled by an EDM DJ at a festival.
