This is a Warwick Corvette and it's around $3,000+ new. Warwick is excellent, but if you want something that sounds/plays great for a bit less, check out Spector basses.

You can get a Warwick Rockbass Corvette for less than a grand. Same bass, same sound, just made in China instead of Germany. Still set up in Germany, same pickups too

Will need thick strings and long scale neck. Or you can use pitch shifter drop tuning pedal. There's a good one in Mike stringers amp modeler called mixwave spiritbox. Pitch shifting is easier imo especially if you're using a 4 string bass.

Use the lower 4 strings from a 5 string set and get your bass setup

​@Eric.mov_ You can get away with it for live use at minimal. But recording its too clanky. You can hear it clearly on this as the strings are hitting the frets. I would also mention the intonation of the notes will be pretty out overall. You can get away with two tones down on a pitch shift would be my personal maximum downshift. My own warwick even set up for drop C is as low as I'd want to go without electronic help and that's with 105 strings on.
