- The New DJI Mini 3 Pro just arrived on my doorstep so this is the first flight. I briefly test out the Obstacle Avoidance and Signal Strength. I also record 4k footage from the mini 3. This is Pro drone in a small package.

Thanks. Connectivity seems to be a big topic. Haven't really experienced anything major yet. Signal from the New RC seems to be weaker though.

Good video Chad. My mini 3 arrived late yesterday so I have not set it up yet. Still waiting for the fly more package . With so many different pros and cons videos out on YT, I'm anxious to fly it myself to see how good it is..

Yeah. It was getting tossed, but managed to get a few seconds of smooth footage on each clip

It's an amazing piece of kit, so you WILL be very happy (certainly in comparison to your previous Autel Nano+ non-experiences 😉).
I have been hugely enjoying it over the last few weeks and still soooooo much more to try out and play around with.

Great drone. I’m also looking forward to the Freewell filters. I can see there’s a pre-order or something on their site for an all day pack which has an ND-1000 in there. I’m keeping my eyes on Amazon too.

I have a couple videos on that drone.
XRP HART, the Nano+ is also awesome in my personal opinion. I low light the Nano+ is even better and has a awesome camera in general. The Mini 3 Pro is a better flyer, has more options at this moment and has also a very good camera. I think both drones are close, but the Nano+ is the low light King and the Mini 3 Pro is the better allround drone with a very good camera also and great 10 bit video for color grading in D- Cinelike color mode. I have both drones and recently made my first 10-bit D-Cinelike video with the Mini 3 Pro. You can find my Autel Nano+ and now also my DJ Mini 3 Pro video’s on my YT channel. Greetings from 🇳🇱
Nice first impression flight. I noticed that the screen record playback was not to clear. At 1259, what do you have connected to the bottom of the remote?
Hey...thanks. yeah the display is not too clear. I need to go in and see which setting it's on (Smooth or HD) and change it. But the resolution is only 730p and also I had to expand the screen record footage to fit the screen
@@ChadB 👍🏾,The wireless dji mic hooks up to the controller so you can record sound while screen recording?
Yup...makes it easier to sync the clips in my video editor. Sync using the audio

Try to connect a USB-C to the RC, I read somewhere it worked, so give it a try.
That’s good to know cause somebody said on one of these that you couldn’t record audio even by plugging a microphone in have you attached via Bluetooth
I tried my Ear Pods. They connected but couldn't get them to work. Will try it again
All I’ve managed is a little up-and-down in the garden yesterday it arrived at lunchtime yesterday I’ve had the Flymo kit for three weeks I am recording an audio but if it’s not raining it’s nice and sunny but unfortunately 100 feet the wind is gusting between 30 and 40 miles an hour today I’m between 30 and 45 miles an hour tomorrow

Chad, how do you find signal strenght compared to DJI mini 2? You fly in USA, where FCC mode is active, I still see common problem beyond 400m, it starts to hassle signal rapidly.
Thw signal is not as strong with the New RC compared to the N1 RC with the Mini 2. The problem is the control I think
How long did it take for you to get your drone? Where did you order it from?
Ordered from DJI on day of release. Received it June 7th
Does the obstacle avoidance work at night ?
No it doesn't.
This is the only video I watched that mentions the controller's audio record.

@@jeromeweaver809 well...you can only purchase the entire DJI mic kit. It doesn't come separately. I just so happen to have one and used it for the screen record. However, there are some USB-C wireless mics you can get on Amazon.
