He strikes me as a bit.... off
I think anyone who spent the entirety of their adult years in prison would be off...
Imagine saying you slit 2 people throats and ypu actually didnt. What in the actual...
I’m confused. They said she was in her 20’s but she looked 50 in the documentary 😳
So simping was a thing back in 80's too?
I thought it was more of a recent phenomena but okay.
Its always been a thing they just didnt call it that back then
It’s been a thing since the dawn of man
he's such a liar! he did it but turned on her cause she dumped him afterwards! and of course she was apart of it.
Glad to see ya made it, Lens! I always knew that u got hoodwinked by your lover. Enjoy life and make the world a better place. Best wishes and good luck!
Jens
This guy set the bar of simping way too far
What happened to his girlfriend?
She was deported and imprisoned as well.
She got out on parole last November.
Thank God.
Seeing the HAPPIEST day of his life is giving me chills!! His face 😭🙏🏼
@Jacqueline lol wait, u actually think he killed them despite the evidence that proves he didn’t and ur calling me dumb? Hah 😂
They don’t care about the truth.. just putting any one in jail to save face.
Both of them did it case close in the Netflix series’s he clearly says on the Tape “our trip to Bradford’s” or wherever the parents stayed then the police say our ? Then he says sorry I just meant me I dunno why I said our
He didn't do it. No, I wasn't there, but I believe his story.
And before anyone starts name-calling, please consider that he was on a scholarship for gifted students and was the best student in English classes despite having German as native language (and btw he still speaks German without any accent at all). That's remarkable to say the least.
Sadly, he met the wrong girl and made one terrible mistake.
I am so happy he is free now.
Oh yes, he was the perpetrator. Just singing fairy songs, till today. His guilt is absolutely obvious.
@@strategon28I don’t think so, he was 18 at that time when the crime was committed and the ex girlfriend has admitted to being manipulative on stand. She was also sexually abused by her mother (there were evidence of naked photos of her kept by her mother) so she has a motive to kill her mother but also, years later, they had tested DNAs that belongs to 5 individuals including the ex girlfriend, none of them were his.
Being bilingual isn’t that rare of a trait. Especially for someone who lived in the US for the majority of his younger years. And EH was on a scholarship too. So, how is that supposed to prove anything?
@@marilynyunjing1702You got the DNA evidence all mixed up. And he had a motive just as strong AND confessed.
@@christiangwenner6384 it was already proven that there were 2 other DNAs in the crime scene and none of them were his. He made a false confession to protect a manipulative lover and he was also 18 and stupid. People can be smart in one area but stupid in others
I think that girl set him up as the patsy from the get go!
He confessed DUH he's no genius
It was the girlfriend.
Well, is there any proof she did it? I guess not. It's obvious that he was the perpetrator.
@@strategon28 after watching more about it i think your're right
@@edplaysdrums8435 When I first saw the movie "The Promise" I also thought: "Wow, he must be innocent." But after thinking a bit longer about the case and reading some interesting stuff, too many contractions were appearing. In fact, the movie "The Promise" is a one-sided fairy tale. The guilt of JS is crystal clear, even if he denies it still today (and will probably deny it until his last days ... I fear, he is a prisoner of his own mind).
Guys stop calling him a simp, he just loves his girl and I respect that.
nothing wrong with loving a girl, but the fact that he went to jail for 33 years for her is outrageous.
@@bowskee I have to agree
Did you even watched the video?
@@bowskee pretty sure that wasn't part of his plan.....
@420BASSGIRL 420BASSGIRL you just kind of went full jibber jabber there, didn't you?
I’ve watched a lot of documentaries on him and I don’t think he did it. I think she did though
Well she went to prison too
The facts are pretty obvious that he did it.
Yeah false confessions are a dime a dozen
He may have been a simp, but what he did was very courageous, stupid, but courageous
Not courageous at all just plain ridiculous but ok
@420BASSGIRL 420BASSGIRL Ok, show me the proof. You keep saying he's a killer but you show no proof. I feel like playing Among us where somebody blames the other with no reason
Lol he tried to cover for a murderer, that make it better? He wanted to save the murderer who murdered people, from going to jail. He didn’t murder them, but he knows who did and he covered for them. That’s insane lmao.
@@strangespice2996 Couldn't say better myself
@Testa Rossa look up the innocence project and take a gander at how well the court can decide stuff.
He willingly went in there and confessed to a murder he says he didn’t commit in a foreign country. I can’t really find it within me to feel that sorry for him. His decisions still played a large roll in his arrest.
He was the culprit, which is pretty obvious.
No one's going to say anything about how this is going to be the first Doctor Phil videos with comment section turned on
Because it’s not. - his comment section has been open for over a year.
@@hannahdill9012 I haven't noticed and I've seen his new videos it's just not like Phil to let us say whatever we want it's his show
Wrong!! He’s been having comments on. Not a true dr Phil phan I see
I don’t believe him
in the thumbnail, the side profile reminds me of billie eilish and now i can’t stop thinking about it
LMAOOOO SHOULD BE TOP COMMENT
... Why
I don’t think he did it at all. He wasn’t even there, he was just young and madly in love he wanted to protect her. It was her it was Elizabeth
Me too
Yes. I believe this too.
Damn he was smashing that. Lucky af
But dumb from making a false confession like wahttt I would never
You would never - and he would never, to. Because his confession was true - he was the culprit.
This guy has been in a lot of shows & interviews in Germany and USA. Strangely he enjoys the publicity
Considering insisting on his innocence is the basis for his career as a speaker, it’s not Strange at all.
Bothers me that she got out when she's never told the truth about the murders. He was a totally innocent patsy.
She looks like Amanda Knox in some of her pics.😬
