I was lucky enough to see this band live in Milwaukee, WI at the Rave (legendary venue) on my second or third day of college as a freshman at Marquette in August 2013. I knew nobody. It was the toughest transition in life that I'd ever undergo as a freshman from NY. All I knew is that I loved Motorhead. I scrounged enough money to buy a ticket at the venue earlier in the day. I sat outside hoping to catch a glimpse of these legends. Sure enough, Phil Campbell emerged to walk a very small poodle dog. I couldn't believe it! I didn't want to bother him, but when he was free, I said something like "hello Mr. Campbell, how are you enjoying Milwaukee?" He replied that they were quite busy on tour and didn't have a great chance to check out the city, and asked how I was doing. I replied that I was new to the city and in my first few days in college. He first asked if I had a ticket to the show (he was going to give me one), but I said yes, and I'd prefer it that way--I want to support the band. He then instructed a roadie to give me a backstage tour and said "tell 'em he's Phil Campbell's son!" if we got any questions. I was subsequently given a tour of the backstage area after sound check and that was really special. Unfortunately, Lemmy and Mikkey were resting on the bus but that was okay. It was so cool. Finally, Phil Campbell told me to come backstage after the show. I went to the show (I wasn't old enough to drink), had about 4 beers dumped on me, wore my first Motorhead shirt, and felt the bass in my stomach. After the show, the roadies told me there wasn't anything going on and that Phil was probably mistaken in doing something afterward, but they gave me 3 free road crew shirts (which I quickly distributed to my younger brothers). This experience not only helped me gain confidence going into a new phase of my life in college, but shows the true character of Motorhead and how they are the greatest band of all time.
Six Years after Lemmy died. I still can´t believe it. Watching Motörhead at its best. It breaks my heart to see how he was struggling the last years, especially his last year. I´m so sad about it. Thank you for the music. Lemmy, we miss you...
Motorhead should be way way more popular, one of the best bands in history, they never stop and always come to play hard... put on one of the best shows you can see......never sold out and still made it and they are still going strong Lemmy will live forever!!!!!!
BUT the music and legend live on and will forever, once heard never forgotten, it is like seeing something, you can never shift that image, Motorhead are like that, once heard, never forgotten, thankfully I did get to see them live, and it was AWESOME. Sad Lemmy has gone, but SO glad he was here, a true legend.

But the albums are pretty dam good as well every good band is best live but i certainly regret never seeing this legend live and in person have you seen any of the old seventies and eighties stuff like the overkill to ace peroid the birthday show is amazing motorhead
Lemmy, je suis devenu un Motorhead le jour où je t'ai vu live en Allemagne en 2006. Merci pour la musique (et les paroles de feu) et je vais faire en sorte que ta legacy reste vivante. Salut mon vieux et Give 'em Hell wherever you are!

killers just goes absolutely off!!! my favourite of theirs , and its always forgot and overlooked !!! one of the best rock and roll tunes ever in my opinion !
God even after so many years and its hits you that you will never see Motorhead live ever again, First time i saw them was in 1979 and still waiting for a band like them
You can really hear how they updated their sound after the Inferno album. Very heavy, loud, clear and crisp and still dirty and metal. What a performance. I cant believe how they got better and better with each year on after 2005. Impossible power trio.
Lucky I got to see Motorhead in Connecticut three years ago......they were literally louder than any other band I've seen live...one of the best! RIP Lemmy!
Makes me so sad we will never see these days again, but so grateful for every day we had. Long live Motörhead, we are Motörhead and we play Rock ‘n’ Roll xxx
The one time I got to see Motörhead was back in maybe 2010 at a smallish venue here in kc. They were so loud that the plaster was falling off the walls and ceiling. And I remember when they came onto the stage, he said the following : “we’re Motörhead and we play rock and roll” and for the next hour or so, that’s exactly what they did. One of my favorite concert memories of all time.
It was amazing!! The one and only time I ever got to see them. And it’s one of the best concert memories. They just tore the place down, literally and figuratively
Crazy to think he left us less than 10 years later. I got to meet him in 2010. He was so cool to his fans, stopped to chat and smoke, take pictures, sign autographs. Love this man!!!!!
Ils seront pour toujours le groupe qui Frappe fort..Sans eux le hard ne serait pas où il en est...Ca c'est du Rock n' roll!Merci Lemmy Merci MOTORHEAD!
Motorhead was so good my Mum asked me on a Saturday morning when I was a kid play some Motorhead as she hoovered my bedroom...........She loves them now and she is 70.
I got into motorhead when I was in primary school in the 80's. On the last day of term once we had a no-uniform day,I went in proudly wearing my denim jacket riddled in Iron Maiden patches (I'd saved up my pocket money to buy from the dodgy market-trader in town who dealt in scratched records and metal paraphenalia and invested wisely). Anyway, Mrs Parkinson (the best dinner lady in the world) came over and said she thought my jacket looked cool, and said her son was into metal, and asked if I wanted some records. She drip fed me some classic 70's/80's metal albums while I was in little school - Motorhead, early Alice Cooper, the Scorpions, UFO, Rainbow, Blue Oyster Cult. I've often smiled to myself over the years about how awesome she was to be bothered to take an interest in little-kid-me and my taste in music, and how much she influenced my life. It's only in the last couple of years, I realised that her son had died, and she was passing the albums onto me because she wanted them to go to someone who loved the music as much as her son did. Incidentally, my Nan still loves Motorhead after I played them to her way back when in a Triumph Acclaim on the way to a steam rally in 88... she's 90-odd now. The conclusion, all good people love Lemmy RIP x
Got “Built for Speed” tattooed on my chest over the Boar! Motörhead under it. Best 6 hours of my life. Hurt like hell…worth every minute. Love when they opened with that song. Miss you Lemmy!
Visti tre volte dal vivo. Nel 97 nel 2001 e nel 2010... sempre pazzeschi.. senza stronzate solo musica a tremila senza fronzoli mitici grande grandissima band da Olimpo del rock
'Overkill' was so awesome here as a closer. Lemmy was awesome at acting like he didn't care about being on stage but also having fun and being cool at the same time. An incredible performance.
Do you realize how powerfull this guy was even in his 60? It's actually unreal how good of a performance this was - one of the best that he ever did. RIP Lemmy!
Agreed. So many bands that started around when Motorhead did or before that are still playing now are nothing like they used to be and fizzled out long ago. Motorhead played at the top of their game the whole way through in a way no other band has or ever will.
voltaspeeder17 what do you mean , lots of people in their 60’s can stand up and move around abit and move thier hands over some wires and shout ... and if you had known Lemmy you would know he would laugh at my comment and buy me a beer .
Never saw another anyone who would hang out at the bar after a show. Had drinks with Lem after a gig at the Channel in Boston. That was so cool, there will never be anyone like Lemmy. Hope you're raising hell up there!
+ScissoringWookies 1) Found it out in the 'net. 2) Shaved Lemmy style. 3) Borrowed some money. 4) Broke speed limit with my car towards the nearest whiskey bar. 5) Had a Jack (I only drink lager beer). 6) Got the phone number from a blonde sexy MILF. 7) Returned home. Motorhead for Life \m/
Was a MOTORHEAD fan since 1983. Was a MOTORHEAD myself in my younger years. Remember the filthy Phil Taylor days. But I must admit Phil Campbell and Micky Dee were a glue for the 3 man band. THE BEST! Lemmy? All the way back to a roadie for Hendrix. Rock and Roll ain't the same now. Thanx for the shows and the great memories.
i done my 1st and only ever crowd surf till these guys, it sad my v.good friend Ernie died a few weeks after in a M.C. accident. tho i miss our silly shit we used to do. i crowed surfed because he gave mea lift!!!!
Das finde ich ist eines der besten Motörhead Konzerte,es sind gute Lieder dabei und der Sound ist auch sehr gut, das müsste es mal digital in MP3 zu kaufen geben.

That's the place with the serial killer right?
That was so cool of him to do that for you. It really lightened up your situation then.
That's so awesome! What a memory, what a way to start college!
Down to earth guys. Just in it for the music. Great.
When I feel depresed, I listen to motorhead and My soul come back to me
This is very true
They did play rock n roll to save our souls !

These guys fucking rocked it. Who cares that the majority of their songs sound the same they were a rock-n-roll powerhouse!
Since Lemmy went away, this world is not the same to me. Really missing him! 😒

He was a special cat!

Motorhead should be way way more popular, one of the best bands in history, they never stop and always come to play hard... put on one of the best shows you can see......never sold out and still made it and they are still going strong Lemmy will live forever!!!!!!
Motörhead is way more popular than you think :) Atleast where I come from everybody knows them even though they never listened to Metal/Rock
Pascal Schulz I guess it doesn't matter now, the dream is gone....
BUT the music and legend live on and will forever, once heard never forgotten, it is like seeing something, you can never shift that image, Motorhead are like that, once heard, never forgotten, thankfully I did get to see them live, and it was AWESOME.

I first saw Lemmy about '71 playing with Hawkwind, I took my Nephew to the BOMBER tour gig at Manchester Apollo in '79, my daughter was at THIS gig. God Bless yer Lem!
How he can sing that way for an hour without losing his voice is MAGIC.
Drink a fifth of Jack Daniels every day. No kidding
drugs help
Whiskey and meth.
And also playing very decent bass lines at the same time.....
what voice? 🙂
Still miss Lemmy and his famous words "We are Motörhead and we play rock'n'roll". R.I.P. mr. Lemmy Kilmister.
They where never supported by the music industry but they where a huge band!!!
Loudest and one of the heaviest bands to only be a 3 piece. Amazing!
The way Lemy plays that bass is the reason it works as a three piece. Another guitar would ruin it.
Three piece bands are my favorite and I'll only play witgtwo other people ... MOTÖRHEAD ♠️ FOREVER
Andipunk; ...o my GOD ❤️ in Heaven...❤️...🤟
RUSH is another 3piece band .
Next to Motohead, they're pretty awesome too.🤘🏻
its fucking lemmy, fucking legend
R.I.P. Lemmy - I'll miss your lovely voice. See you in Valhalla!
Who’s here in 2022? this kicks the arse out of any modern artist today and you can’t tell me other wise Motörhead forever.

Phil Campbell and Mickey Dee were the finest Motorhead line up.
Musicians only get better with age.
Live fast, die old! RIP Lemmy!
Together with Würzel when they were a quartet
Motörhead was huge, but lemmy himself was even bigger, what a legend, such a cool and unique person.
lionheart
Agree. Motorhead was just an asterisk of what Lemmy represented.
There will never be better than motoerhead
Have a 8
Without Fast Eddie's riffs n solos, and Phil Animal's powerful drums, Motörhead wouldn't have been such a legend.
"How you doing, all right?"
YAYYY YEAAHHH!!
"Ok, we'll soon fix that".
Maybe that was his point...

le Meilleur trio de tous les temps !
Never a band more true to their cause! Motorhead were rock n roll personified!
Miss ya Lem. ♠️
Yes
The one time I got to see Motörhead was back in maybe 2010 at a smallish venue here in kc. They were so loud that the plaster was falling off the walls and ceiling. And I remember when they came onto the stage, he said the following : “we’re Motörhead and we play rock and roll” and for the next hour or so, that’s exactly what they did. One of my favorite concert memories of all time.

Sounds like it was awesome
It was amazing!! The one and only time I ever got to see them. And it’s one of the best concert memories. They just tore the place down, literally and figuratively
Lemmy has got the power and the right 4ever-the king lives.
I won't forget them, they made me get on track through a time of my life when i wanted to give up.
Drums sound amazing. Great overall audio.
Crazy to think he left us less than 10 years later. I got to meet him in 2010. He was so cool to his fans, stopped to chat and smoke, take pictures, sign autographs. Love this man!!!!!

Motorhead was so good my Mum asked me on a Saturday morning when I was a kid play some Motorhead as she hoovered my bedroom...........She loves them now and she is 70.
SCOTT MCGREGOR That is awesome!
9:48 My Gosh! What a power and energy! I miss you Lemmy..
Man, Mikkey Dee hits HARD!!! I feel bad for the drums. That is some serious drumming. Incredible energy and strength to do that. Mad props!!!

Visti tre volte dal vivo. Nel 97 nel 2001 e nel 2010... sempre pazzeschi.. senza stronzate solo musica a tremila senza fronzoli mitici grande grandissima band da Olimpo del rock
This is one badass concert.
I Second that ✋ ; )
'Overkill' was so awesome here as a closer. Lemmy was awesome at acting like he didn't care about being on stage but also having fun and being cool at the same time. An incredible performance.
Best Band in my life 🤘😎
Do you realize how powerfull this guy was even in his 60? It's actually unreal how good of a performance this was - one of the best that he ever did. RIP Lemmy!
Agreed. So many bands that started around when Motorhead did or before that are still playing now are nothing like they used to be and fizzled out long ago. Motorhead played at the top of their game the whole way through in a way no other band has or ever will.
he was a real pro. period.
voltaspeeder17 what do you mean , lots of people in their 60’s can stand up and move around abit and move thier hands over some wires and shout ... and if you had known Lemmy you would know he would laugh at my comment and buy me a beer .
Respect🤘🤘🤘🤘 Lemmy was different ...pure rock and roll ...✌️you stille are,....i love you
voltaspeeder17 lmlmmm
the sound on this video is amazing, maybe one of the best live sets of theirs on youtube
The drums sound fantastic, the others great too
RIP Lemmy....true legend... thanks for sharing... what a show!
Never saw another anyone who would hang out at the bar after a show. Had drinks with Lem after a gig at the Channel in Boston. That was so cool, there will never be anyone like Lemmy. Hope you're raising hell up there!
Ace of Spades: "I don't wanna live forever"
Sorry Lemmy but you will!
As he said himself.. "..but apparently I am!" 🤘🤘🤘🤘
He may not be with us but his legacy will live on forever

:-0 2015? wow, now 2018 :( Time runs so fast
Thanx for the shows and the great memories.
great respect for the drummer!
Mikkey Dee. Great drummer. now drums for Scorpions.
Ele é fantastico, na bateria. O melhor que ja vi! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
