I saw this band at the age of 16 back in 1986. I can't believe my mom let me go. About 20+ years later, she somehow saw a youtube video of Slayer from that time, and said, "I let you go see THEM!" Yep, you did mom, and it was chaos. Infants/virgins/goats were sacrificed and somehow we all made it back alive, not sure how.

I remember back in 1991 / 92 , Tom said in an article, possibly in Metal Hammer, that in Hell Awaits he would often not actually say words for the faster lyrics and just spout gibberish and no-one would ever notice. Managed to meet him at the '94 and '00 Glasgow Barrowlands gigs, hell of a nice guy. Some ups and downs musically, but they were the formative band of my youth in the 80's and 90's and very directly influenced the culture I would go in to, the friends I would make and the experiences I had. Thanks for the memories guys.
Surprised at how negative most of the comments are. As someone who hasnt listened to or watched a whole lot of Slayer, this is really impressing me. Sure the mixing could be better and the crowd is lame, but its a beyond airtight performance. They're tearing shit up!

even their slowest songs seem fast/from their inception till this very moment they have been total hardcore thrash .all slayer albums do complete justice and loyalty to the fans,same applies to all live shows.without question the greatest of the big 4...need I say more?
