Lemmy will always be a famous legend of rock n roll. His dedication to his fans and his craft will never be forgotten. He was a huge block in the foundation of rock music.I dont drink but a huge Jack and coke toast to the Man.
decided to give this video a watch after hearing the sad news of lemmy's passing, truly a legend ! even of his old age he kept doing what he love and kept rocking and entertaining people. I was suppose to see him at download next year but too bad he passed away :/. may u RIP lemmy, u re in rock n roll heaven now along with dio, bonham, hendrix and all the other legends \m/
One of very best vocal performances of the 2014-2015 shows. Love it. Respect to the man, he pushed and battled until the end. The slower tempos actually sound good to me.
he may be in poor health, but the dude is conquering it like a boss. i notice his left hand is shaking the entire time hes playing, and holding down the notes! the guy is a champ
No one should be shocked about the tempo and speed going down....Lemmy's going on 69. I don't know many people in their 70's that can play speed metal on the bass and sing with the speed Motorhead does....
@@mark26714 people are so ungrateful. I am blessed to have been a fan since a young age and still am. I got the best gift from my parents back in 2012, a meet and greet. I remember as if it were yesterday. Walking into that room and there stood the three men who made living every day an honor. To be on the same planet as Lem is a fucking honor. To bitch about how they sound is an insult.
The tempo isn't all that different to my ears. But Lemmy was also diabetic and I'm told the neuropathy associated with it is a curse. That should also be taken into consideration
Campbell and Mickey D really cared about Lemmy as his illness worsened, and were ready and willing to stop the tours but Lemmy insisted that the show/s would go on... and died with his boots on. A total legend. No-one will fill those boots ever. Kilmister was a one off Rock and Roller, unique and irreplaceable. R.I.P. Brother in Rock.
Been listening to Lemmy since I first heard them back in 76. Time catches up to quicker when you smoke and drink mass quantities of JD. God bless Lemmy for sticking to his guns and never wavering. He is true and honest and that's what we all truly see in him. Keep having fun Lemmy as long as you can. Havent seen you since 1980 at the concert hall in TO.
Thank you so extremely much for making all the music that came from your heart. It's the best music ever made and I mean ALL the music you made in your whole life, it's ALL a MASTERPIECE, 100% MASTERPIECE, all of it. I'll see you again, I'm sure of it.
Oh, Lemmy. You saved my life a million times, but now I think you should do yourself a favor. At this point, you're simply not able to storm the stage and deliver a gig that honors your own legacy. Maybe the time has come to write the final chapter of this amazing history. I'm only saying it 'cos I love you.
stimmt ich bin froh das er wieder auf die Beine gekommen ist nachdem was letztes Jahr passiert ist ( ich war da ) schade nur das ich dieses Jahr nicht fahren konnte aber naja vielleicht klappt es nochmal
They have significantly slowed down the tempo, but Lemmy is in fact still singing the songs on key. Hetfield, Mustaine, and Araya play their old songs at full speed, but even tuning down a half step their voices sound completely shot. Lemmy still has that classic growl that no one can replicate.
The biggest flaw of Creation is that God didn't give eternal (well, at least longer) life to some particular samples. Watching this, I come to tears. Lemmy is almost 70...and as sure as tomorrow's sunrise, we're going to lose Him some day... So I send my message to all Englanders: find him a substitute, do please! The greatest rock-musicians were born on your Island; so there shuold be someplace, somewhere, wherever (even in a small village) a being that would be able to continue this great thing, called MOTORHEAD. I can't do this myself, for I'm a Bulgarian, 52 of age, a very lousy bass player and singer. But in Albion - another Lemmy toddles somewhere; so please, find him, and bring him out; do it in the name of rock'n'roll - please, all Englanders!!!
People need to give Lemmy a break. He's almost 70 years old and has been battling health problems, yet he's still out there touring on a worldwide level.
This is one of the only shows Lemmy couldn't finish because of his surgery. He shouldn't even have been there but in true lemmy fashion he couldn't give a shit what the doctor says! MOTORHEAD FOREVER!!!
typical crowd of europe bored and without energy , but the crowd of latin america are kick ass and a lot of energy , see motorhead in Argentina , Chile , Brazil ... for example
the crowd ever american country are wild. not just latin. ive been to canada, some US states. Mexico city, argentina, brazil, chile, and a few more and they where all full of energey.
+JP Rossel All generalizations are false, including this one. I go to a lot of concerts (I live in Switzerland, heart of europe) and it`s alsways crazy
I gotta give Lemmy credit for hanging in despite his serious health issues, which DO seriously affect his performance and demeanor. Lemmy's' appearance is reminiscent of my Dad's last days suffering from cancer so this is familiar territory for me. He said once that he'll play til he drops dead...jokingly maybe even on stage. This is his life; he doesn't know anything else since he's been in the music business since age 16 and he keep playing as long as people keep coming to shows. I see some parallels with another kindred spirit "man in black" Johnny Cash who enjoyed a bit of a renaissance in his declining years, recording right to the end. Enjoy these artists while they are with us; there are few if any following to fill their shoes.
I actually got to see him here, so fucking glad I did. Fucking legend. I know that feel though, I missed Ronnie James Dio (w/ Sabbath) the year or so before he died because of work, was gutted.
Lemmy's appearance has changed the past year, but he must be healthier overall, because the last few videos i've watched from 2014 he's sounding alot better, compared to 2012-13, when most of his health issues are going on.
cmon, everyone saying that Lemmy should retire blah blah blah, its better having him still giving awesome shows than not having him at all...he might be old but he still kicks ass, besides its his decision, rock on \m/
+Stephane Pc He was 69 years old still rockin the fuck out at this event? Wish I'd gotten to see him last year from this footage it would have been KILLER! RIP, Lemmy.
believe until the end,the very end, that is what this shows,no matter what, its called rock n roll,in one word you can decipher motorhead, choose,or you're in or you' re out,as simple as that, always up to you, there is not rule or law,its what you are and made of,what you're meant, your final choice
Compare this 2014 Wacken concert of them with the one from 2006 (on right side). Lemmy sounds, looks and moves like a completely different man. Gone is the energy, the power. He stays exactly in the same place here and is struggling to keep up. In 2006 he was walking around, had a ton of power in his voice and looked about 25-30 years younger. Sad.
I was there. This isn't the full set. They played just over an hour, with Lemmy getting a break during guitar and drum solos. They did Overkill as an encore. All things considered, I thought Lemmy did pretty well.
Who disliked it? Show respect to Lemmy! Yes, he's old, but he performs those songs for you!
Kirk Hammett yes god of guitar!!!❤️
false, he does it for himself he loves the rock n roll drug
😊❤

🤟
RIP Lemmy, you will be missed
Rest in peace Lemmy and thanks for your music
Lemmy deserves a lot more respect from some of the poor comment owners below. He's almost 70 for god sake. Keep it up Lem! We love Motörhead!
🙂
I saw them at coachella and I was front and center... that show is in my top 3 shows of my life, and I've been to a million concerts
I will miss this man so much. There arent many true originals, but Lemmy was one. Thank you for your heritage. Rock out!!!!!

Rock in Peace Lemmy, "Don't forget us, we're Motörhead!"

RIP Lemmy!!! You were the best
+pierre taulet certainly the best :D nice one
I agree, it's sad to see Lemmy struggle in voice and hand, and paradoxically you cannot take away the fact he's still out there. All the best.
No one should be shocked about the tempo and speed going down....Lemmy's going on 69. I don't know many people in their 70's that can play speed metal on the bass and sing with the speed Motorhead does....

Lemmy forever, Motörhead forever
Mitten im Konzert nen Filmriss bekommen! Es war einfach so gut!!! Bitte kommt nächstes Jahr wieder!
RIP lemmy you will be missed !!

He said hes smoking a few cigarettes and quit jack....switched to vodka....
He was already terminally ill here. The cancer took him down. I’m glad I was there to see his last Wacken.
🙏🏻 de los mas grandes de la historia. Que vaina la manera de añorar y extrañar esa bandola.
we are motörhead and we play rocknroll :)
nice crowd in wacken :)
You're nervous he's gonna break down any second, but the show still keeps going! It's a miracle every note he hits, and it's still awesome!
This sounds damned good to me. Not sure how anyone can think that this is anything less than kick-ass.
a 60 percent lemmy is still more than a 120 percent everyone else
agree.he's given all of more than any one else would and always his best.good luck lemmy.forever MOTORHEAD!!!!!!!!!
he still oozes more talent than most guys these days!! hes only a fraction of what he used to be as well!
savageone8 Right? It was an honor to see him live at Wacken 2014.
the man was true to himself to the last moment, he will always be remembered & respected! 40% Lemmy is way more than many others putting their 150%.
Never can dislike the best rocker in the world rip my friend
I never imagined Motorhead would be this fun to watch live... Lemmy is the man!
It was alot of fun right? Great to hear before Slayer came on!
R.I.P. my friend...no more words.................just thank you for everything
I'd take a half hour of Motorhead over most any other band's full show.
They don't have a bad song
i think its pretty good of a 67 year old man to play like that & Lemmy always give 100%. Motorhead has been in my life since 1986 & still rocks.

Lost Woman Blues is such a killer song. In fact, all of Aftershock is great, it’s in my top 3 Motörhead albums. Phil goes off on it.
Thanks Lemmy
I believe if I had a choice of playing in a big-time band, it would be Motörhead. They are the epitome of rock n' roll. Long live Motörhead!!!
Nothing but Motorhead all day and night...for the rest of the week. You're sorely missed Lemmy. Thank you for all the musical memories. \m/ \m/ \m/

This show kicks ass. Period. Lemmy crushes, as does the rest of the band. Greatest rock n roll band of all time.

As it seems he also lost much of energy and power ...well i guess at the age of 68 ...its normal :/

They did play Overkill, unfortunately only these seven songs were broadcasted. There is probably more on TV next weekend, not sure yet.
