Thank you Stacy! I spent an hour on-line reading sugar free oatmeal cookie recipes. I just wanted a simple sugar substitute. Much to my dismay there were banana, applesause, peanut butter, glutin free, keto, and any other thing you could imagine. I was just about to give up, then I watched your video ... Yay! Someone who actually knows the simple pleasure of an oatmeal raisin cookie! I'm off to baking these for a special friend who can't have sugar. Again, much thanks!
SORRY 4 CAPS. DONT TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY, I'M REALLY FUNNY ABOUT PEOPLES HANDS WHEN IT COMES TO COOKING AND PREPARING MY FOOD, I HAVE TO SAY YOU REALLY HAVE BEAUTIFUL HANDS, AND THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS
do you know if another type of flour can be used with this recipe? (almond flour, any other flour with less carbs.. etc.) i was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, i still have so much to learn… i’m sorry if this question is a bit silly! thank you ✨
I made these this morning for the first time for my wife who is diabetic. They were delicious. I followed all directions to the letter. I copied the look you showed in the video, small balls flattened a little. I expected them to spread a little when cooking but instead they retained their size and shape and did not brown like yours did. Are you sure about just half a teaspoon of baking soda? The recipe calls for that but the visual amount you tipped in in the video seemed a lot more. Great recipe though. Thank you.
@@brandi7523 Thanks, Brandi. I always thought baking soda would never expire. Seeing your comment I read into it and find I was wrong. The baking soda I used was well sealed but hardly fresh, so I am sure that was the problem. I will try again. I appreciate your helpful response.

Maybe substitute walnuts, or sugar free chocolate chips

Yep! Yours may be expired or not active.
