I gotta admit, this thing looked far superior from outside then from the inside. These 1980 style interiors need to change, they don’t just look retro anymore, they look archaic.

Wow this is easily the best 4x4 extreme motorhome I've ever seen and the layout is perfect. I would way rather have larger living space, kitchen and bathroom rather than a bedroom taking up half the space. Absolutely brilliant!

f0t0b0y the great thing is ShowHauler conversions are really customizable so you can do a lot with the colors and such.
I don't think having a stylish designer interior is the point of this rv.
The layout kind of sucks. I mean you can’t even get from the cab into the rv section without climbing over the seat ??!!

f0t0b0y but dude I think you can customize the interior . Some Rvs are customized before handing it to the owner a year after.
That bumper is what we in Canada call a moose bumper, in Australia they call it a roo bar. They are definitely not for show, you hit a white-tail with that and the deer explode leaving zero-little damage to your rig.
We call them Cow Catchers or Dear Deflectors down in Texas

Wow, that interior was way more ordinary than I was expecting. Basically, it's just a Grandma's Winnebago on top and Grandpa's Power Wagon underneath.

@@joshuacolbert3369 Nah, I would say it's still more Power Wagon level. Don't let the phat tires fool you. It's basically just your typical medium duty Freightliner, but it's a 4x4 and has serious off-road bits added on. It's still not a military grade vehicle.
@@mark7067 True. Our electric company thats local deals with all 4x4s and those tires on their service trucks. They also have 1 ton trucks, 40ft PJ trailers and $100,000 tracked skid steers with mulching heads. Quite the setups, but what do you eexpect for a rural service company.

That's tight! I thought it would have solar, I thought it would be more high end inside. But you can't argue this is safe, strong, and built like a military type truck.

Outside looks badass, inside looks like the typical 70s interior. The Host Mammoth truck camper has a dark scheme that would look amazing in this giant truck.

I need this kind of RV in my life! I own a 30 ft RV, but I live in Alaska and we've already gotten over a foot of snow. There's no way my RV can get around safely in the snow, and we plan on living in the RV fulltime someday but when we can't get around almost half the year it really dampens those plans.

That was pretty cool. A lot nicer looking inside than I was expecting. The only thing I don't like is that it lacked a bedroom. But that powerhouse thing man...wowie!

I always had a screwball idea of using a Volvo VNL 70" sleeper with a custom sleeper with a frame extension that you could put a custom box on the back and store two classic cars in a duplex configuration. Like how they transport on Wayne Carini's show. I know it sounds wild but just think of it, probably close to 850 to 900k.

Finally found a motorhome I could enjoy and that's my lifestyle. I enjoy off-grid living. Unfortunately it's out of my price range in this lifetime maybe next one will work out better.

This rv is made by Showhauler in Indiana. All of their coaches are custom made. The sidewalls are 2X3" steel tubing. Not bonded fiberglass like those 1 mil dollar coaches. This thing can roll over and still be driven. Do that in those $1,000,000 coaches and take it to the scrap yard. I would rather have a 2 person cab and a bed in the back but like I said: These are custom made so somebody wanted it configured like this. I would opt for the 500 HP with 40k winches to pull it out of bad situations. As to interiors. you get whatever you like and pay for.
Wish it had a private bedroom. Wounder if there is other floor plans. Good review like your channel keep them coming. Be safe out there
By the way Jd, these are put together by Performance Motor Coaches IN TEXAS so you might wanna check out their facility!
The reason for this price is because this is a 4x4 motorhome and not a expedition vehicle. Expedition vehicles have a lot more batteries, solar ,water purification systems etc.
That being said, it's TREMENDOUS.

I would like one like this scaled down 50% to a mini version , van size with highier suspension and add few things, like winches on front & back , gravell screens on windshield & windows. Swivellarm assist on the roof to help change tires.

I'd put run flat wheels inside those tires and bulletproof glass coated outside with Kevlar bulletproof plastic. End times war RV paint it white and put some Defences on it shock handles smoke Device and a few other Devices

Here in OR, I see one or two of similar styled units roll down the highway every summer and I always wondered about the creature comforts. Kinda what I expected, high quality in a Spartanish way 😎

The interior is a big disappointment. Why have such a big bathroom and no back bedroom? The thing is a beast though

@Yar Nunya i disagree. i have a normal oven in my RV and i don't want or need extra countertop appliances to have to store. I don't fry at all if I can avoid it, i bake most of my food and for that kind of money, no oven is a deal breaker. but to each his or her own.
My oven is my gun safe.

Two things I would change. No dinette, put theatre seating there. Then sofa/ bunk area put a Murphy bed there. I guess I would go big on solar also but the sofa in the cab I would delete that and and most of the overhead bunk so you could enter the cab from the back, and on each side throw a domestic 100 quart freezer on each side to run with more food.

I was hooked with the look of the exterior, but the interior design is incredibly disappointing. No character, not a great utilisation of space...and for $350,000? They should study van builds and see how it's done.

2:50 Unique... Every tandem axle Super C motorhome is "4 wheel drive" since you can lock both of the rear tandem axles. He should of said "4x4"
Is there an option for a "North/South" bed over the cab instead of an "East/West" like in the video?
That would be cool. I've never seen that done that way. Our class C is the same as the one in this video and the same as every other class C.
