@@SwellRunner Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 hope you're good, great video! Just a quick question regarding viewing this video which is, how do we (viewer) have the option to zoom (extra!), over & above the youtube allowed ratio? TIA
i have to come back and watch this in its entirety at least once a week. i cannot think of a single thing i would change (and that is saying something).
Having owned Airstream trailers for years, I see many of the same amenities. What I don't see is 1.5 mil. The truck part adds certain functionality, but I doubt it would be used much. Same thing can be had with a 150K airstream and a 100K very nice 4WD tow vehicle. Maybe save 1.25 mil. Adding an edit to comment on the video. Well done ! Liked the detail and the shots. Very nice job. Only suggestion would have been to cut off the man-bun.
I have seen many Airstreams and I have never seen an Airstream as luxurious as this thing. Not even close. The craftmanship is unprecedented. Plus- you can have an awesome 4x4 tow vehicle but you still have to tow the trailer. Good luck with that in 12in snow on a mountain road in backcountry. This vehicle is not for the 1%- this is for the 0.001%. That may sound like a ridiculous business model but in a country as wealthy and populated as the US- there is still a market for these vehicles.
I’d much rather have a trailer so I could drop the trailer and use the tow vehicle to go into town or go places that you can’t get trailers or a huge ass overbuilt rv in. F250 ready to wheel with motorcycle in the truck bed and decently nice camper trailer. That’s my dream.
alessandro Cipollone right, they only need to sell one at a time to make good money. They probably make close to 6 figures on one of these but it takes a lot of money to build and they’re probably built to order.
When you look at these vehicles you just have to appreciate the innovation and design. I was really impressed with the Coo of the company and how versed he was about there product. It sounded like he is hands on with the design of the build. He doesn't appear to be someone who is sitting in the office giving orders. It doesn't hurt to dream a little bit and appreciate someone's art. I love vehicles and I enjoy looking at them, regardless wether or not I can afford them.
Nice video, didn’t mind the length at all. As others have stated it is a lot of money and not for everyone however there must be a market for it or they would never build it. I also enjoy watching your videos as I have just recently subscribed to your channel. Keep the videos coming!
Roaming is limited to North America and Europe due to the availability of DEF and ULSD; I'd buy a Toyota Landcruiser and keep the $1.4 to really roam the earth.
And I'll buy the new Suzuki Jimny at a fraction of the cost of a EarthRoamer, Landcruiser, Jeep and wizz past you guy's trying to pull each other out the mud. XD

To be fair for the luxury that you're getting from it and the capabilities of the vehicle itself it's priced quite high because the model just came out that's normally what happens for any small production luxury vehicle high cost low volume sales that in turns allows them to sell their smaller vehicles for a lower cost and gain sales volume from it
I seldom click on the like button. Even rarer for me to leave a comment. Then for me to hit the subscribe button. The trifecta has never been done. Great informative video, both entertaining and informative.

@@TheBear470 Yes you are correct, that is his job. But he knows everything there is to know about these EarthRoamer's. You have to remember he is not a salesman. He is the COO. Not to many COO's are in tune with their products like this gentleman is.

mixflip No I agree with you it is an awesome setup and if I had that kind of means it is what I would want to have built as far as an RV application. As far as overland I'd pick a 4runner, Jeep, maybe a Tacoma as my platform. I want to connect with nature lol not nature connecting to my wallet at some point it becomes like keeping up with the latest and greatest stuff. I build to my needs I'm a minimal is more type of person.
This content is a lot of fun - thanks for sharing it! Even though I'll likely never own one, really cool to see. Wonder where you park these things- it's HUGE!
Seems like it is mostly for going down logging roads and such. Which does tend to cost more money. You could take a $40k SUV down a logging road but not a $15k car. This is essentially the RV equivalence in price difference. You definitely could not go down a logging road in a normal RV. The fact that you can easily camp on forest roads in winter with this is impressive. The engine-off diesel powered coolant heating alone is worth around $80k if you were capable of installing it yourself.
I really appreciate your time taken to produce this video of such a thought provoking vehicle. My unanswered questions would concern the windows; what they are made of, how they articulate and how are they covered for privacy. Maybe I want to sleep in or walk around naked. Overpriced for sure, but what fun to see what can be done.
Sorry i didnt see the toilet, i think the best one is the incinerator toilet hassle-free, no more finding anywhere a dump site from time to time, no more carrying heavy cart rolling for disposal of fresh human wastes. Btw i like the most its high ground clearance, whenever a checkup/repair beneath is very comfortable. Maybe for 4-6 people on board such rv needs extra dometic ref. Thanks a lot. 😁 👍
Its not like your over loading the axle on a truck like that. I own a 4x4 International that has a 30,000 lb gvw on it about that size. But its rear axle can hold 25,000 by itself. If you figure a 43 ft goose neck trailer weighs anywhere from 11,000 to 16,000 lbs and those are twice as long with an entire trailer frame underneath. The more axles and tires you have the worse fuel economy and more tire wear and maintenance. Unless you are driving through a desert and need it to have less of a foot print with more floatation on the tires. It does look cool but it makes for more headaches for driving on road long distances.
@@buildthings79 It's not that the axles will be overloaded, though there is a higher risk of getting bogged. The main issue is that you run the very real risk of centre highing it due to its appalling break-over angle. Mind you, it also has a pretty poor departure angle as well.
Thank you for this video and thank you for taking the time to edit it. I have some idea as to how long it might have taken to edit this and again, I am thankful. You're right, this video will serve as a resource for me. A big one.

The only thing good about watching these over-priced rv vids, is that you can see ideas that you can build into your own rv, much much much cheaper.
I was impressed by your editing skills. Very well done.
This is way cooler than any other type of motorhome I've ever seen.
Nice video, didn’t mind the length at all. As others have stated it is a lot of money and not for everyone however there must be a market for it or they would never build it. I also enjoy watching your videos as I have just recently subscribed to your channel. Keep the videos coming!
Jason, I loved your video presentation , you rock 👍
Perfect for when you want to camp on the moon
Here's a little more housekeeping. From 4:07 and beyond, pretty good video.
Roaming is limited to North America and Europe due to the availability of DEF and ULSD; I'd buy a Toyota Landcruiser and keep the $1.4 to really roam the earth.
Id buy a jeep and for a small fee help ya out of the mud lol. jk.
And I'll buy the new Suzuki Jimny at a fraction of the cost of a EarthRoamer, Landcruiser, Jeep and wizz past you guy's trying to pull each other out the mud. XD
lol your funny as you sit on your computer that you bought, along with your dumb ass Che t-shirt that I'd bet my capitalist paycheck that you own, ya damn idiot!@@arandomperson3516
@@BenJaminLongTime After you fix the death wobble
yeah i mean this thing is cool but i'd rather have a tacoma trd pro manual and a small airstream.
Okay I just wanted to come it on the introduction I haven't seen any of the actual video just you talking about for each their own that was very pleasant I enjoyed listening to the way you put it that was cool dude first time I'm watching you I'm going to subscribe now without further Ado I'm going to watch the rest of the video......
How do they justify charging $1.5mil for this? You can get a larger Showhauler super C 4x4 built on a Freightliner chassis for $550k
Yeah there is definitely better opinion to achieve the same experience. You could make something for 1/4 the price.
Loved it. They should let you make a walk around video at their factory. I wanted to see more even after 42 mins like how long is the wait after design process.
Dude. Great idea! I’d love to see their factory!
I'd like to know more technical details, especially about the power system.
I have to say that the rep from this company is very informative, and knows everything about this luxury home on wheels.
It's his job....
@@TheBear470 Yes you are correct, that is his job. But he knows everything there is to know about these EarthRoamer's. You have to remember he is not a salesman. He is the COO. Not to many COO's are in tune with their products like this gentleman is.
Idk about 1.5 mill.. But it is a dream machine! Maybe 250k
bosshogindog it cost more than that to make
I'd say at leas 500k.
lol a hood range vent wow what a crazy concept to have in a kitchen, thanks to blue shirt for coining this "true ventilation" what smart guy.
I like it but it's not my idea of overlanding even if I was a multi millionaire. Dont get me wrong I'd camp in it if I had an opportunity to use one for free lol.
agreed! i'd take one , but with a low end interior...its gonna get dirty!
@@71jdonn I interviewed the these guys at overland expo a couple years ago when it rained and snowed and the show was a mud pit. They still let me walk inside their $500,000 vehicle to film the interview with my dirty boots. I was impressed. It was the company CEOs personal rig too!
mixflip totally agree. "Overlanding" term is really beginning to get out of hand more like luxury camping for the rich.
@@truckerrickakamanowar I still thi k it's crazy cool.
mixflip No I agree with you it is an awesome setup and if I had that kind of means it is what I would want to have built as far as an RV application. As far as overland I'd pick a 4runner, Jeep, maybe a Tacoma as my platform. I want to connect with nature lol not nature connecting to my wallet at some point it becomes like keeping up with the latest and greatest stuff. I build to my needs I'm a minimal is more type of person.
Perfectly to roam around the world
Well I mean yes this is camping but tbh this camper is way nicer than my own home so it's like basically moving my home into the wilderness😂
yeah I'd rather get this things and be "homeless.'
when i win the lottery this will be my go to off grid vehicle.
Something I find interesting about all multi million dollar RV's is that people who can afford them rarely if ever go camping.
Why would they buy an RV to camp, it's like buying gold plated dildo.
@@MrAlexanderLang and bring it to an orgy 😂😂😂
Great intro... and very sound reasoning. Compelling.
This content is a lot of fun - thanks for sharing it! Even though I'll likely never own one, really cool to see. Wonder where you park these things- it's HUGE!
Enjoyed the video and the ROAMER!
with that price it should go where no man has gone before ...
Perfect to keep your man bun nice and tidy!
I am sure they have blinds there or you can customize it
Sorry i didnt see the toilet, i think the best one is the incinerator toilet hassle-free, no more finding anywhere a dump site from time to time, no more carrying heavy cart rolling for disposal of fresh human wastes. Btw i like the most its high ground clearance, whenever a checkup/repair beneath is very comfortable. Maybe for 4-6 people on board such rv needs extra dometic ref. Thanks a lot. 😁 👍
A Truck that BIG and HEAVY and LONG should be on 6X6 chassis ...
Yvon Chateauneuf i would love a 6x6 of this
And It would not even take up any space🤦♂️
If you can afford a truck like this ... fuel economy, tire wear, and extra maintenance cost won't be a problem ... (I'm only saying ... 🤣🤣🤣)
@@buildthings79 It's not that the axles will be overloaded, though there is a higher risk of getting bogged. The main issue is that you run the very real risk of centre highing it due to its appalling break-over angle. Mind you, it also has a pretty poor departure angle as well.
Very cool video man and cool vehicle
1 mile to the gallon might seem problematic to some off-roaders but remember that you get a wholesome 2 miles to the gallon on the highway, yee haaw!!
11:05 800-900 mile range...Didn't realize they had a 800-900 gallon tank
With consumption figures like that one might need to tow a bowser for general peace of mind. Don't think a jerry-can's gonna cut it
Thank you for this video and thank you for taking the time to edit it. I have some idea as to how long it might have taken to edit this and again, I am thankful. You're right, this video will serve as a resource for me. A big one.
for 1.5 you could get a 6x6 Unicat on a MAN chassis, which is far superior to this chassis/body, and still have a bunch of money left over
True...but I have looked at the Unicat vids and the interiors and other luxury features are not at this level.
@@nomnom3451 Indeed, not even close.
this would be PERFECT for the Burningman RV fest in the desert
Very cool rig but I like actually camping. Give me a tent and some camp chairs and I’m set.
Beautiful. Rich people things.
