I feel like the incinerator toilet wasnt appreciated as much as it should have been. More detail on that would be great, like the weight saving on black water and its propane usage

I want the shower. The toilet would be great too, not ever have to mess with a black tank again, but that shower is fabulous. Of course there are several other features that were very appealing, however I'm not really an extreme off-roader. Thanks for doing all these videos though, because it's very interesting to see what all is out there.
This has definitely been an interesting series of videos. I love the way things are evolving with off-road campers. It's also great to see more of the UK, African and Australian tech being blended into the US market. Anyone who's followed the market over the past couple of decades can really see how some really obscure ideas are becoming a norm.
You know what's goofy as heck? My 1990 Scamp 13 is phenomenal off-road, it has plenty of clearance and an independent torsion axle. I can fit and turn around anywhere, I take it to some very remote wooded areas. Nothing has fallen apart too seeing they're so well built, and it's 32yo 😵💫
I believe this one has remote control independent suspension feature from tow vehicle ON THE FLY! The video off roading showed this beast has huge transition dropping into and out of washes! Searching the link to the vids....

This thing is dope. I would make a built in CB or Ham radio that runs off of 12v tho. So the people at camp could communicate with the truck when pushing out a little farther without the trailer. :)
I think a large front window would be one of the last things you'd want on an off-road trailer. The small bathroom window featured in another video is small and at an angle so likely doesn't pose a problem, but I definitely would not want a huge expensive rock magnet placed on the from of my trailer. Nice interior, but a bit too cold for me. Somewhere in between this one and the American-built one you featured would be spectacular in terms of balance between coziness and features. And some of the features on this are a little gimmicky to me, but that's always a personal evaluation. I do like the huge-basin sink and locking cabinetry of the American trailer (along with its general approach of simplicity and functionality). I've also found those elevated-floor showers to be a total PITA - more surfaces to clean, more dark, damp areas for mold to grow. To me, the incinerator toilet is fascinating but one more thing to break. And if your toilet doesn't work, you're in for tough times. Insulating a black tank is just the same as a freshwater tank... and you gotta do that anyway. I really do love this trailer's platform and rugged design, though. They thought about so much in this design, and honestly it would be hard for me to choose between this and the American trailer.

I've seen this unit and person and the inside is very spacious and comfortable! It is pretty amazing how well it does off-road too from what I have seen in their videos.
Innovative setup, although incenerator toilets have been around in class A's for a while. Often as an option. Local P. D. Had one in their on duty Command Vehicle years ago.
If the layout was changed slightly to turn it into a hybrid toy hauler, I'd buy it in an instance. That is a very cool trailer and I don't foresee there being too many issues with it going forward.
I’m from South Africa and big in camping with my self build slide on camper. Just want to mention the recovery boards all mine are bolted down, if you have it on a quick release system. The first pitstop you make that boards will be stolen, so I will loosen 4 x 14 mm bolts with a socket easily every time I want to use it than to replace my boards that cost more than a set of all terrain tyres. Love to see that a South Africa product get noticed over sees. Conquerer make good designed products. ✌️🦾
This is cool. Be awesome if they find a more efficient incenerator toilet, and make this further off-grid by adding in a recycle shower, a filtration pump that can pull in water from streams and filter it, with easy access filters, pack away solar panels you can pull out and set up once you are at your destination, and so much more.... I'd rather have a battery bank in place of the outside kitchen. Too bad insurance companies wouldn't let you add in a very small mini wood burning stove. They have some cool tiny ones.

It's a cool trailer. But wanna see something RRREALLY cool and expensive. Try Bruder EXP-8. 4.5 tons gross weight. Fully independent suspension. Arctic thermoinsulated. $216k base price. Enjoy!
At around a half pound of propane consumption per flush (company specs), that toilet wouldn't work well for extended boondocking, especially for a family with kids. There are alternative incinerators, even some that have 3-way power capability using either propane, 120Vac or 12Vdc that are more efficient. A large multi-kW solar setup with several batteries would be far more expensive up front but have very low operational cost and could run for extended periods off grid. Or at least until you run out of the special liners.
@@sneakybow1 truck campers in general are crazy expensive on a footage basis anyway. Yet weirdly often have bigger beds than motorhomes or 5th wheels and more headroom than trailers in such smaller footprints
There's a video of a guy who built out his own van with one of these but his toilet was all electric. He paid 6 grand for just the toilet. I wonder how much the gas version costs?

I would imagine they left a front window out on purpose to get it from getting damage off road. Rocks can get kicked up or branches Hanging over in the trail are a couple examples of some hazards
One question: why did they leave everything exposed under the bottom of the trailer? Will they fix that issue in the 2024 model? Also can a positive air system be installed to keep dust from getting inside? We travel a lot of dirt roads and I tired of having to clean the inside when we arrive at our camp sites.
In some of their videos I think ROA has said that they take some inspiration from marine and boat stuff. That's built for choppy travel environments, so I guess train of thought naturally crosses over, to bumpy offroad travel environments
That's pretty nice! I like that trailer. What about leveling it? Does it have jacks to easily auto level it? Or, it like an airstream that only has "stabilizing" jacks that can't be used to level it? That's the only thing I do not like about Airstream trailers, no leveling jacks. I've watched videos of people putting blocks in front of the wheels and pulling them up on the blocks hoping to get them level, then have to back off and put more blocks in the stack and try again. Seems like it would be a nightmare in some scenarios. And since in an off road scenario, a fairly level spot probably won't be that handy.
So what type of truck to tow this? Could you efficiently tow this with a new Tundra? Or do you need something bigger? No clue on weight capacity for either truck or trailer, just curious.
Sonce its built for off road, does that mean that its overbuilt to the point where it will have less problems that other new RVs have? If so. The price would be justified. At least it would be for me.
A simple mount would fix that problem being it's only 4 bolts iirc. Two metal mounts bolted to the trailer to stick out an inch or so and some quick release/hand twist bolts.
Bad place for the TV because of it being too close to the stove. Yes whatever you cook will travel in the air. Would be nice to fold up that bed so you could have a living room of sorts.

Can you imagine how difficult it would be to tow a toy hauler in extreme off-road conditions? That would be a lot of weight.

I still like Bruner more. It’s more expensive and ships from Australia, but design wise I prefer Bruner.

I believe it is a prototype since it's the first one. I'm sure changes are in the works.

The condition of most roads these days make buying a Off road trailer or Truck justified. Gasoine tax sure doesn't go to road repairs and up keep!
