But that being said at the end of the day he was a former cop and two he is a White man that killed a Blackman. But he should be protected because he is already being punished for what he did.

@@kellyandrews8161 In this case it wasn't murder. The guy that died was on drugs that affected his heart. He had a heart condition, and his heart gave out. The only reason that Mr. Chauvin was convicted is because the jury knew that if they didn't find him guilty that there would be a riot where people would get injured or killed and they didn't want that to happen. The jury was also afraid of their own lives. Now, do you really think that is fair to Mr. Chauvin? No, it's not.

Fun fact: the United States has one of the lowest number of training time for police officers in the developed world at only around 500 hours. Meanwhile in countries with much lower recidivism rates and lower crime counts apportionate to population, such as Norway and Finland, have police officers go through roughly 4.5k hours of training.
Just giving some food for thought, I wonder what y'all think about that and consider what we should do to fix our country's problems.

It's said when learning a skill it can take 10K hours to perfect it, so which one would you pick?

The weapon used is not a real knife, that is called a shank made of plastic, most of the time with the plastic spoon they give you in prison or with the toothbrush, the shank is a short weapon and almost never reaches vital organs, when one use that weapon one goes for the throat or the eyes, stabbing many times as quickly as possible, a sudden unexpected attack to have the advantage of time and surprise so if that is done where there are more people around, like the outside yard or inside entertainment area, people around you including the guards have no time to react and grab you and separate you away from your enemy. Chauvin survived because that guy who stabbed him is a rookie with no experience using a shank in prison.

@@Pax_Mayn3 Exactly. Chauvin was not stabbed, that's just lying MSM. He OD'd on tylenol and blood pressure medication, the fact that he was getting stabbed at the same time was just a coincidence Finally someone gets it. Sure, he had been taking those medications for 30 years without problems, but it just so happened that at the exact moment he was being stabbed, he OD'd. Otherwise he would have been fine. It was his own fault and they are trying to railroad a good inmate. Finally someone gets it!
