I do my plunge at 4am, before my workout, and it is the hardest thing to do. No one wants to be cold at 4am. It actually keeps me up at night sometimes, the anticipation of it. But it’s getting better. I’m building discipline and resilience.
I've had one cold in 18 months and had a slight fever with it. So for about 4 days (which is very short for me normally,) I couldn't ice shower, bathe. I had the hardest time getting to sleep. Now after a few days of showering with ice water, I'm sleeping the entire night. I love coming Into the room where my wife is still snoozing and grabbing her foot with my cold hand. 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for sharing, you are natural on camera. I've been plunging 50-55 degrees for a month but just upgraded my plunge setup to the Ice Barrel 300 and a chiller and going my first 39 deg plunge tomorrow morning. I appreciate all the references to journals too.
Love it! Thanks for getting us into it. And I can attest to the last point. I definitely notice a difference.
So when are you gonna do a 30 days straight with me?
@@TeamFITBODY I am building my courage :)
Alright ! Validating the Vimster.....

You asked about the benefits that we've seen -- I've definitely seen increased energy, mental clarity and reduced stress.
Thanks for your kind words! It sounds like you're really stepping up your plunge game. Good luck with that 39-degree plunge-you're going to crush it!
