I’m glad you explained what you did for the mechanical fuel pump. I like your idea of swapping in the tank unit from a carb unit. It keep the build really clean.
Great progress Kyle, I love that you talk about all the mechanical details of your setup so that the audience can clearly understand the upsides and constraints of your truck's setup.
With how much I've been pulled away to focus on our house and other personal matters, it's been hard keeping up with youtube. Some of that info I wanted to split into different videos, but time just didn't allow for it so I'm sharing as much as I can in different videos haha.

@@saabkyle04 Hey Kyle I have a question, what are you going to do about the torque converter clutch? Because the TH350Cs and 700R4s have an electronic solenoid controlled by some sort of computer so how are you going to get that to work?

How did u do the wireing to chnage the fuel sending unit because I looked it up the models that had a fuel pump in the tank the wireing connector is different because the ones that were carb also has a different connector. I'm wondering how did u do it and make that work ? I have a 85 s15 that was a 2.54cyl and I swapped to a 2.8v6 carb and I wanna swap sending units but I seen that the connectors were different so I'm wondering how did you do it exactly so i can swap mine , my truck runs butt i don't like the idea of the mechanical fuel pump having to suck through the pump in the tank plus the sock screen and everything I know that's gotta be real hard on it .
I agree and thank you!! My friend Joe is awesome with this stuff. It's a lot easier to film with having someone else there. Plus, I learned more about timing, which will be helpful on future projects for sure.
