    Hey Kyle you should lower your desired idle rpm down to 850 so your truck doesn't sound like its throttle is stuck open slightly all the time. Plus you will be able to hear the cam better in lower rpm.

    • @AB-80X
      @AB-80X 3 роки тому

      850 is too low, but sitting at over 1100 is also way too high.
      900-950 out of gear is about right for that.

  • @AB-80X
    @AB-80X 3 роки тому

    You did indeed do a great job man. Good stuff.
    One thing. Why the high idle? Over 1100 out of gear? Try and take it down to about 900-950. Should be fine with that cam in it.
    Here's a suggestion for your future. Intake swap, or to be more precise, 6-71 "intake";)

    @Saabkyle04. Hi Kyle! A tire that looks really good on the back of a S10 is a 295/50/15. The extra width helps with traction.

    • @AB-80X
      @AB-80X 3 роки тому

      It needs more diameter to look right. The 295/50R15 was always an oddball tire.
      275/60R15, and this does not need more than that really. All things considered is not HUGE on power.
