thank you for all your work. I purchased a MX5 based on your videos and I am very happy . One thing tho: the expression pedal is very tight, I find that I have to push quite hard. Is there a way to "un-tight" it so that it moves bit more easily? Thank you
I’m really impressed by this unit, but can you tell me if I can turn on both wah and toggle effect on/off (eg delay) with the toe switch at the same time?
Hola! Quería saber si puede hacer un video mostrando los diferentes efectos que tiene la headrush MX5? Y si puedo lograr un sonido worship con este tipo de pedal? Gracias!!
Man oh man....one of these days i will be able to afford one of these HEADRUSH PEDALS !!!! For now I guess I will have to settle for a ZOOM G1X 4 since they are only $119 BRAND NEW .....not as many features ,etc.... but i CAN NOT afford $399 at all !!!!! You have a ZOOM for sale or discount by chance ...lol...(OR A Headrush for discount---like B stock lol) by chance??? GREAT VIDEO peadl guy!!!! Stay safe
Dear Mr Pedal Guy... is it possible to setup the MX5, simultaneously per preset/Rig, with 2 different output(pair of outputs if stereo) , with, ie, the main stereo output having all the amp/wet fx EXCEPT the speaker cab sim or IR, to be sent to the guitar amp(s) FX Return, while the 2nd output via the mini stereo PHONE output with all the amp/cab, IRs/wet fx , to be sent to the PA system. I hope you understand what i am trying to inquire here....
can u assign the expression pedal as a wah, and then turn it off or on by pressing down on the pedal with your foot like a regular wah pedal in a traditionall pedal board?
Hello I have been using the MX5 for a few months and the wan was working very well. Now in a few rigs, the Wah won’t turn on and off with the expression pedal toe switch. It will in different rigs and it works when I use the touch screen. But it doesn’t light up. Is this a setting that I’m not aware of? I’ve tried deleting and using different expression pedals. Looking for a little guidance if possible. Thanks.
@@ThePedalGuy My exact problem with many units. I don't own a Headrush unit but this is a common problem with many. If you use the guitar volume to control, for example, the guitar input into an effect and so the character of the distortion, you would normally use the volume pedal to just change the volume without affecting the tone. But if you want to engage the wah, now you have to go first to max volume with the pedal, and all hell may break loose!. If SCENES can include activating the wah and keeping a certain overall volume this would be my favorite unit.
I am among the thankful overwhelmed owners of new technology.
Thanks
Useful and straightforward that’s why I subscribe many thanks Scott!🙂
Glad to help
Always great stuff..... Shortens the learning curve on this exponentially.... Thank you....
You bet! Thanks for watching
Made it look easy. Thanks & works like a champ. Freed up my expression pedal for other work!
Glad it helped!

Could you restate your question in English please?
Hi man! I have a question about the whammy, I’d like to know how close does this sound to real whammy? Cheers! And great videos!
It sounds pretty darn close to a bona fide whammy to me.

If you use the toe switch to turn on the wah from a volume pedal on state, doesn't that increase the volume to max setting in the process?
Yes, so if you want an alternative, I would suggest adding an external expression pedal to the MX5 setup to avoid any issues.

Is there a way to calibrate how much pressure the toe-sensor needs to switch between A and B?
No

Your video answered my question.
I accidentally had it set to “Advanced” instead of classic
Hello
How to set up individual volume for each patch. No I am not talking about volume pedal .
the toggle doesnt work on the toe switch? i cant find the way to enable this
Not sure why but on some patches , when I add a volume pedal, the tone gets completely muted.
Does the expression pedal have pitch shift ability?
Yes with the pitch shift effect loaded up.
@@ThePedalGuy would you go with a used, but good condition Line 6 pod go or the mx5? Pod go is $350 btw.
@@ricksanchezito8972 tough call. I like them both. You should watch some VS vids maybe
@@ThePedalGuy yeah I have and I'm leaning towards the line 6, but a second opinion is always nice. Thank you.
We’re is the toe switch
Under the front of the Wah pedal
I cant make this thing to work how did u set up ur toe in? I had the vol and added the wah bit didnt work.
I have to toe down and push till it clicks!
How do you switch from vol to wah without increasing the volume to hit the toe switch?
I don’t believe that’s possible. Maybe with scenes
