This is great! Have always wanted to race in VR with my Vision Pro. It appears setup is pretty easy with just downloading ALVR to both the PC and Vision Pro? Are you able to use a racing wheel and pedals which I assume are connected to your PC? Thanks so much for posting this!
It's possible to game on but if you want trouble free with controllers etc mind as well get something that works better bigscreen beyond/pimax etc with displayport connection... wireless adds compression/latency/extra gpu load etc.
If I'm being honest, the most immersive experiences I have had in VR are probably flight and racing simulators. We still need a more intuitive solution to locomotion than a joystick. There are a few games that have you actually walk around implementing Room Scale and clever manipulation of spaces, but not everyone has the play area required.
Wow! You are turning your AVP into a gaming headset! I think there are controllers that you can purchase (expensive??), so can you ultimately convert your AVP into a “Quest 3”? Maybe play PRO ERA 2025 on a much better screen with better resolution?

Really hoping one day we can do this without bootcamping our Mac’s into windows.. We can dream 😁
@@glassapple2970 right my Mac is powerful and can handle steam but they don’t play together well …
I’m sure it’s coming. Apple’s playing the long game with this headset.
Thanks! Can we connect knuckles controllers to the PC side?
